The following day, Debby woke up to see hundreds of missed calls on her phone and they were all from Harry.

She read the over one hundred and fifty text messages he sent. She realized he found out the truth that she was innocent about what happened to his grandfather. Debby ignored the messages and calls and walked out of the room.

At Darkwood, Harry suddenly thought about the possibility of Debby going to North Hill. Afterall, that was where her father lives so he and Horace went there.

When Harry and Horace appeared at the Alessandro's mansion, the gateman opened the door for them and on stepping inside, Elijah and Elisha who just finished spoet racing stepped down from their car and sighted Harry. They had searched about Harry Vernon and seeing several of his pictures on G****e so they recognized him.

The two men walked towards him and Elisha quickly asked, "aren't you Harry Vernon?"

Immediately Harry answered yes, Elisha punched him in the face while Elijah kicked him in the belly, "you are the bastard that judge our sisters wrongly and made her life a help, huh?" 2

Horace was angry and wanted to charge at Elijah and Elisha but Harry stopped him. Elijah kicked Horace away then threw more punches to Harry.

Moses appeared and saw what was going on, he ran towards them and asked, "what's going on?"

"This is the bastard that hurt our sister," Elijah answered as he continued kicking Harry.

"This bastard!" Moses was angry and joined them in beating Harry. The three brothers beat Harry until his face was disfigured and some of his joints loose their place but they didn't stop. Amy ran towards them and shouted, "stop!"

Only then did the three brothers pulled back, they were even sweating. Horace was just standing and watching as Harry had instructed him not to interfere. Horace felt pitiful for his master. Debby soon appeared too and saw Harry on the floor, blood all over his disfigured face. Debby went to squat behind him and asked, "why didn't you fight back?"

Tears streamed from Harry's face and he spoke, "did I not deserve to die for how much I have hurt you?" He cried even more and spoke, while looking deep inside her eyes," I love you, Debby." Debby shut her eyes in hearing that word then walked inside..

"Carry your master away now," Elijah shouted on Horace and he quickly went to Harry and carried him away.

He took him straight to the hospital where he was treated.

He didn't get better until three days had passed. Then Horace told him, "master, we need to go back to Darkwood."

"Don't think I'll leave North Hill without my woman and my son." After a couple of hours, Harry and Horace went to lodge at an hotel.

The following day, Debby received some flowers from a stranger and when she saw the label of the person who sent it, she told the stranger to send the flowers back that she did not want. The sender was Harry.

The following day, Amy ran to Debby's room, "come quick,

" he took her outside and showed a new Lamborghini."

Someone sent this as a gift to you."

She checked and on seeing that Harry was the sender, she rejected it. Harry sent bracelets and necklaces worth millions of dollars to Debby the following day but he rejected it. He sent her many more gifts but ....

"She rejected it again," Horace stood before Harry and reported. This was the eight day that he had been sending her all sort of gifts.

"Will she ever forgive me?" Harry didn't ask Horace, he just looked away and mumbled painfully.

Whereas, Fred kept on asking about his dad. Saying that he wants to meet Harry. At that time, Harry also sent a text message to Debby pleading with her to let him spend some time with her son and that her son would be returned same day. Debby sent Fred over. Harry was so happy to see Fred.

Same as Fred, "dad, I miss you so much."

Harry couldn't stop the tears on his face, "I miss you too, my son."

He took him to play footballs and some other games then returned him to the doorstep of the Alessandro"s mansion the following day. After Fred waves his dad bye, Harry almost took him back but just had to let him go since he had promised Debby he will drop him at night.

As soon as he turned to leave, he saw Elijah and Elisha standing behind him, "please don't hurt me. I'm still healing. I only took Fred out."

"Come in, we have some questions to ask you," Elijah said.

Harry followed them in and was made to sit before the entire family. Only Debby and Fred were absent.

Elijah narrated all that Debby had said about him and asked, "is this true?"

"Yes and I regret my actions. I love Debby now and I'm ready to do anything to have her back. I promise that as long as live, I'll make her happy."

"It's up to Debby to either forgive you or not," Elisha said.

Then he added, "but to earn the forgiveness of this family, you must kneel outside of our mansion for three days and three night. You won't eat nor drink water and you must not stand for any reason. The sun will rise on you and set on you. Even if heavy rains and snows fall, you must not stand."

"I deserve it." Harry said. "I'll do it."

"Then start now," Elijah chirped.

Harry walked outside of the mansion and went to kneel.

Horace was very angry. Not only did this family beat his master, they even told his master to kneel? The most powerful man in Darkwood to kneel, huh?

Horace walked up to Harry and said, "master, can't we bring our soldiers over and ..."

"I'm suffering for my sins. Stay back, Horace," he and Horace stepped back. Well, his master hurts Debby a lot, it's just that he felt like this punishment was too much for his master.

When an heavy rain began to fall that night, Debby peeped through her window and saw Harry under the rain. He was even gritting his teeth as a result of the cold that comes with the rain. 'He is willing to do anything to have me back, 'she thought to herself.

Harry remained there for three days and three nights after which the family walked up to him. Elijah and Elisha helpes him up but Harry could barely stand. His kneels were hurting badly. They helped him inside and then he sat.

Harry had become sick as a result of the punishment and his entire body screams pain, he looks lean in the face and lost all his majestic aura, "Forgive me, please." He muttered.

"I forgive you!" Elisha said.

"I forgive you too."

The entire family said one after the other them Broderick spoke, "promise to protect, care and love Debby always, that is if she forgives you though."

"I promise," Harry stated.

Debby appeared with Fred and looked at Harry.

Harry stood with the little strength left in him and rushed to Debby. He knelt before her and kowtowed before her then he looked up and pleaded, "my woman, I don't even deserve forgiveness....." Then tears started streaming down his eyes, "but please, be merciful and forgive me. I promise you that you will be happy always."

Debby's heart softened and a tear dropped from the left side of her eye, "I forgive you."

It was as if all his pains dissapeared at once, "ha! You do?

Debby helped him to stand and locked her lips in his, they kissed as if others weren't present there.

The entire family looked at the two happy people and couldn't help but smile.

Harry, Debby and Fred then returned back to Darkwood.
