Stella had heard a few perfumers talking about olfactory fatigue in the pantry.

She learned that when one smelled various fragrances for too long, the sense of smell would weaken, so they would not continuously smell fragrances for more than three hours a day.

She then looked at the time and found out that it had been two and a half hours since they started. Grace was not a professional perfumer, so two and a half hours should make her sense of smell less sensitive.

But seeing Grace's hesitation, Stella became nervous, fearing that her plan would fail.

Grace glanced at 'Dream Weaver,' then at 'Cloud Nine.' Finally, she settled her gaze on the latter.

Stella's heart sank. Just as Grace was about to speak, the phone in her bag rang.

She opened her bag and took out her phone. When she saw who was calling her, her expression turned gentle.

Upon answering the phone, she said, 'Where are you? Don't you have class today? Oh, okay. Give me a little more time. I'm still testing the perfumes.

"I'm starting to get tired of the ones I've been using. I want to try something new to make myself feel younger.

"Cheeky boy, you have such a sweet tongue.

"I have my eyes on two perfumes now, but I just can't decide.

"Buy both?" Grace chuckled. "It's not your money; of course you'd say that.

"It's not that I can't afford them, but I just don't want to buy something I won't use. Your grandmother will nag me about it, and your father will do the same thing when she's done. I just can't take it. "You want to help me choose? Do you know anything about perfumes? You couldn't even tell when I wore a new perfume last time.

"Stop lying to me. I know you better than anyone else.

"Fine, fine. Come over then. I'll buy the one you pick. Drive safe, and don't make me worry."

After hanging up, Grace lifted her head and said, "Let's wait for a while. My son said he's coming to help me choose."

Stella felt even more nervous now. Grace's son might not have dulled senses of smell like hers. She would not know what to do if her son chose Cloud Nine,' and she would insist on buying it. Also, she had no idea who her son was and whether he would be easy to fool or not.

On the other hand, Jaylene was feeling very confident. 'Cloud Nine' had been tested many times, and it was a scent that could be accepted and liked universally. She believed that the young man from the Esper family would pick it.

About ten minutes later, there was a commotion outside the door before it was pushed open. A young man in motorcycle gear walked in with a helmet in his hand.

His golden hair caught the attention of everyone in the room. His features were attractive and somewhat resembled Grace's. He was tall and slim, probably about six feet, with the frame of a young man. 'What... He's probably about the same age as Julian, right? He's getting married this young?' Stella wondered.

He abruptly stopped speaking the moment he saw Stella.

Stella froze, too. Then, she instinctively adjusted her clothes, thinking something might be wrong with them.

Grace's son stared at her for three seconds before he snapped out of it when Grace spoke.

Grace glared at him. 'Why did you take the bike? Your father will break your legs if he replaces out!"
