Silvia tasked the PR Department with controlling the comments, but that did not help in the slightest. Infact, it brought more criticism.

“Miss Pond, Perficient has to be behind this. We have no way to control the narrative. Any time peoplespeak positively about MY Corporation, the trolls hunt them down and spam nasty comments.”

Silvia was displeased. “I understand. Ignore everything online for now.”

After the manager of the PR Department left, Silvia gave Rita a call.

“Create a timeline for your first and last design drafts right now. Include the details of each revision.Then, email it to me once you’re done.”

Rita was fast. It took her less than an hour to send the information.

Silvia then forwarded it to the PR Department so that they could post it online.

After they published the timeline, public opinion started to change. People began to believe in MYCorporation.

“MY Corporation’s design timeline is complete, and there doesn’t seem to be any issues with it. I’mstanding with them this time. Let’s see if the people at Perficient have more proof to support theirclaims.”

“Let them go at it for a while longer. I’m not taking anyone’s side yet.

“I still feel that Perficient’s more trustworthy. If they really copied MY Corporation, they wouldn’t havethe gall to accuse them of plagiarism. I think they have more evidence.”

The manager of the PR Department noticed that damage control seemed easier this time. After furtherchecking, he realized that Remus Corporation had been helping them behind the

scenes.

When he recalled Silvia and Neil’s relationship, the PR manager began to talk about RemusCorporation’s help in various group chats. Everyone envied Silvia.
