Mr. Right, Spoil Me
Chapter 151 She was a Scourge

"Go out, I'm not eating," he plainly rejected without even looking at the juicy mango flesh.

Even if he ate it, it wouldn't taste the same.

Mango meant nothing to him anymore.

Bruce rejected frankly and didn't give her any face.

His expression was dark, he was feeling restless.

Cynthia pursed her lips and thought to herself, Great, he doesn't want this either.

"Do you not like mango anymore?"

"No."

"Then why don't you have some? I peeled and cut it up into pieces for you, they are clean, didn't you use to love eating these?" She sounded helpless, she sincerely prepared him something but he didn't appreciate it.

Though it wasn't set in rules that one should expect something in return after giving.

"I didn't mention wanting to eat mango, don't use it as an excuse to come in again next time."

He cruelly exposed her motives, she was embarrassed that he just said her intentions out loud.

Cynthia never thought that he would be so extreme today, she thought that maybe he would at most throw a temper.

Sarah had gone missing. Cynthia came over first thing after she got wind of the news. As predicted, Bruce had already dispatched a search team to look for Sarah.

It was as if her heart had fallen into the abyss, floating helplessly in the vast sea. But there was nothing she could do, she couldn't leave this abyss, even if she was drowning. "Why do I need an excuse to see you, can't I just come to see you?"

"No need, don't waste time."

Wasting whose time?

Cynthia put down the plate in her hands, she walked over and said, "I know you are worried about Sarah, I know."

Bruce didn't react to what she said, his slender figure in a cerulean shirt reflected in front of the French window, overlooking the night view.

His silhouette desolated and bleak as he looked down from the window, his expression pained.

He was afraid of height, it was his weakness. But only the fear he was feeling right now could make him neglect his pain of losing her.

He lost his pillar of support, he felt empty.

"Don't stand too close..."

Cynthia was about to pull him back, but he rejected her silently, his obsidian eyes cracked.

"Bruce, don't do this to yourself. It's not your fault that she went missing!"

A heavy silence fell upon the room.

"Nothing's going to change the situation, even if you torture yourself. She's gone, it would only pain you more if you clung on memories of her like that."

A heavy silence fell upon the room again.

"Listen to me, Bruce. I understand what you're going through, just listen to me. If you want to replace Sarah, you'll have to at least wait for the police report to be released. And if that is what had happened, then there's nothing you can do about it."

Cynthia wished that Sarah would never come back, it would be best if Sarah died in the fire, and she wouldn't need to worry about Sarah anymore.

There was no need for Sarah to exist in this world.

She was a scourge.

"You better pray that she's fine, or I'll make you eat your words."

Cynthia's face turned pale from the sharp gaze, she didn't dare to say another word.

Bruce creased the corner of the sofa, his back straight and stiff, he was in pain. He grabbed the corner and looked down, he tried to stay calm even though thousands of irrational thoughts were flowing through his mind and he was so on edge that he was going to snap anytime.

But in the end, he caved in. His both hands let go of the obstacles, with a punch, the glass in front of him was in pieces.

"Stop it, Bruce!"

It was as if time stopped.

His hand bloody, his knuckled gory, there were pieces of shards in his hand.

His cold-sweat dripped profusely, dripping aimlessly down his body. He stumbled and fumbled, his heart disconcerted.

He felt a sharp pain as the adrenaline rush died down, only he could understand how cruel the pain was.

Sarah! Where have you gone!

He howled in his heart, nothing showed on his face.

Andrew drove a while and finally reached the WQ Villa.

It was about 10 pm as he drove into the residential area.

"Sir, are you here for Miss Emily again?"

Andrew would normally nod and continue his way upon hearing this.

But something didn't seem right today.

It was at the tip of his tongue but he just couldn't figure it out.

It was the usual question, but it was as if there was a hidden meaning to it.

"Am I not allowed to?"

The security guard shrugged his shoulder seeing the expression in Andrew's eyes.

Back then, there was never a "no" for an answer.

"Of...course, you are allowed to."

The security guard smiled, but it was obvious that there was something behind that smile.

He was a sugar daddy, that was how a normal person would smile to a rich "sugar daddy", to cover up their disgust and avoid being fired.

He glared hard at the security guard, he had nothing to say, Andrew then went in.

The lift stopped at the 9th floor of the 9th building, he halted in his tracks.

His silhouette thinly clad in the dark night, his gaze was like a predator of the night, his claws couldn't wait any longer.

The man walked out of the lift, it was eerily quiet around him, not a sound to be heard. He took his hand out of his pocket, his pale fingers and clean nails pressed on the number pad on the door. After three seconds...

"0304 is incorrect, please key in the correct pin. 0304 is incorrect, please key in the correct pin."

At this moment, he knew something was wrong, he squinted his eyes and stared at the keypad, he keyed in the number slowly and carefully this time, but it was still wrong.

He was silent for a bit, he tried again after a few seconds.

The buttons beeped loudly four times, the beeping noises were as clear as a bell, ringing right next to his ears.

"0304 is incorrect, please key in the correct pin."

Andrew stood still, emotions were crashing like waves in his eyes.

Three times the charm, but the number he keyed in was still incorrect. There was only one possibility, Emily had changed the password.

He came over because he was suspicious about the incident with Sarah, but the door here was tightly shut on him.

Suddenly, he thought of something.

He tried to reach out to the keypad with his slender fingers again, but it was as if something was weighing on his heart, his fingers froze as he was about to touch the keypad, he couldn't go forward or backwards.

He didn't know what he wanted, the figure in the dark stood still for a long time, he couldn't make up his mind if he wanted to key in this new combination of numbers he had in his head. Andrew figured out what the new password was.

After about 10 minutes, Andrew went downstairs, his desolated silhouette shuttled through the dark. The same security guard was still there as he reached the entrance gate, the guy probably had a night shift. The security guard smiled as he saw Andrew, "Sir, leaving so soon?"

Andrew didn't answer him, the security guard then smiled again, "Sir, didn't Miss Emily tell you? She changed her password, she told me to let you know if you were to come..."

"No need," Andrew cut him off and rejected his offer.000000☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
