Mr. Right, Spoil Me
Chapter 187: Stay Here If You Guys Don’t Mind

"Does she live better than me?" Emily replied, immediately and indifferently, "I don't think so. I've got everything she's got. Andrew will give me everything I want. You are flattering Sarah Cox a bit much." No woman would confess to having a bad time in front of another woman, especially the one who, in her judgement, had taken her loved one from her.

Mathew watched her, a dismissive look was in his eyes. He realized that stupidity was not horrible, but deluding oneself was. The marks were left by different men on her neck and then her collarbone, and wriggled their way down. They looked unrestrained and disgusting. It still amazed Mathew that a disheveled woman whose sexual desire seemed never satisfied was adored as a goddess. A great many men must have stepped into this room, as he could imagine.

"There's no way she could live better than me. Andrew's rich and powerful grandfather couldn't have let his grandson marry a woman like her. Maybe the old man's got a problem in the head, or the bitch is such a complex woman that no one can see through her disguise." Emily insisted that those who stuck around Sarah were blind.

Mathew glanced at her. "The woman you are talking about, however, is much better than a prostitute."

Emily lunged towards Mathew at the moment she heard the word but was stopped by his bodyguards to make sure he was untouched.

"Mathew Scott, you are cursed! You won't have Sarah for a lifetime!" said Emily, refusing to show her weakness.

He lifted his eyes and smiled coolly. "Are you jealous of her again?"

As he turned around to leave, Mathew heard her struggling not to end up being like this. The thin and soft fabric covering her body was ripped to pieces by the bodyguards for her constant attempts. Emily was sitting on the floor, clothes torn. Clear traces on her body revealed what had just finished. She bit her lip until it bled. Her face looked pale.

Mathew frowned without turning his head. "Stay here if you guys don't mind."

The people looked her up and down for a moment and left with him.

Sarah was sent to the hospital the next morning.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by whiteness. She was in a VIP ward. Quiet environment. She slipped her arm from under the quilt and rubbed her eyes. Being in this unfamiliar room alone upset her.

"Ok, thank you."

"No problem, Mr. Bask. We will keep everything about your wife private. Don't worry. The rehabilitation plan will be implemented as soon as possible."

Sarah recognized Andrew's voice.

"Andrew! Is that you? Are you there?" Sarah shouted, a bit fear in her voice for being not sure whether the one outside was he or not, and hid herself behind the quilt.

Andrew appeared at once. Sarah was like a frightened rabbit. He laughed with resignation, touched her head lightly and took her in his arms. "Yes, It's me. It's still early. Why not sleep more?"

Sarah held the man tightly, who had brought her much comfort. She wore a hospital gown, hair down, and looked pale and drawn without any makeup on her face in the morning.

"No more sleep. I can see our kid when I close my eyes," she said slowly as if she hadn't had her mind cleared.

Andrew realized this Sarah was the gentle one. He thought with a subtle smile and spread his arms. "Well, do you wantto sit on my lap?" He could feel well the softness of Sarah's body as if there were no bones inside while he was helping the nurse change her clothes,

"Yes." Sarah hesitated for a while and nodded. She curled into a ball between his arms and blinked with her slightly blank eyes, unaware of "a web of intrigue".

Andrew found that this Sarah relied heavily on him. Probably in that period when she was caught in the feeling of helplessness, his companionship saved her, which had been kept in her mind, according to the doctor's analysis.

He put his chin on the head of Sarah. She then pushed herself closer to him for a more comfortable position.

"Why should I be here? Didn't you say I got no problem in mental health?" Sarah asked after a long while.

"Yeah, of course. But I'm still worried. I'll let you go home when you're completely fine. Ok?" said Andrew, rubbing her head.

Sarah pouted faintly to show her unwillingness to the unexpected news. "Why was I not consulted?"

"You were sleeping. I was going to tell you when you woke up, but you were up already."

Sarah curled her lips, discontented with his decision.

"I'm your husband. I hope you could understand I did it all for your good." Andrew said, sternness in his voice. Then he held and kissed her hand lightly, where he felt a refreshingly faint smell of the hand cream on her fingertips.

Wetness spreading on her fingertips made Sarah feel a bit awkward but she didn't stop him, merely considering him a lecher who were seeking his chance to eat her up.

"Andrew, what if I can't make a full recovery?" she said in a tone of subtle despair. Sarah failed to stop thinking she was like a dying man.

But mental disease was not incurable. "That will not happen." Andrew remembered she had asked him the same question yesterday. He also wondered what this Sarah would reply. "I'm a psycho, right?"

Andrew was surprised by her acceptance of the word. She was quite resistant to that yesterday.

"You are Sarah Cox, Mrs. Bask," he corrected.

"But I'm a real psycho, Andrew. What a psycho will do? I probably will hurt you. I wish you would not be there on that day." She smiled indifferently with a sense of inferiority. Maybe she was telling the truth. It was unexpected that Sarah hoped he would no longer see her vulnerable side no matter which personality it was.

Andrew pinched her cheek. "How would you know? Look how considerate you are. It's hard to tell who will be the victim. Can you do any harm to me right now?"

"Who knows? once heard a psycho

knifed her husband to death at

midnight. That's horrible." She shivered while speaking. Crouching in his arms, she rubbed her thin face naughtily against his chest, a satisfied smile lifting the corner of her mouth.
