My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness -
Chapter 281
"I'm resigning! That should settle my debt with the Riley family, right?" Shawna's voice trembled with barely restrained anger.
"Dream on! The debt you and your mother owe to the Riley family can never be settled!" said a member of the Riley family and sneered. His face twisted with contempt.
"You two are just a worthless nobody and a b*stard child. Our family's mercy in taking you in is the greatest blessing you'll ever get. How could you possibly repay that?" "Uncle, that's crossing the line!" Shawna's voice trembled with fury.
"Too far indeed. Someone needs to teach him some respect," Dustin said coldly as he strode forward.
In a single stride, he stood before the man.
Smack!
The slap echoed like a gunshot in the Riley family's lavish hall. The man flew backward like a rag doll.
He did not even have time to react.
He blacked out midair.
By the time he hit the floor, he was already unconscious and sprawled limply like discarded trash.
The Riley family members erupted in outrage. Their patience was at its end.
"This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!"
"Shawna, is this your plan? You brought a lunatic here to wreak havoc on our family? How ungrateful can you be?!"
Before Shawna could respond, Dustin stepped forward again, and his gaze swept over the room.
"I dare someone to insult Shawna again in front of my face. One word, and I'll tear their mouth apart. Touch her or her mother, and I'll break all ten of their fingers." The deadly finality in his words froze everyone in place.
Shawna's breath caught as she stared at Dustin shielding her and her mother.
She could not believe that this seemingly insignificant security guard of hers was capable of such overwhelming power and unwavering loyalty. Something in her expression shifted as she watched him.
"Mr. Finn, are you alright?"
The Riley family turned their attention to Archie, who was slowly regaining consciousness.
Archie pushed himself upright. His face was dark with rage. "This brat will pay with his life! I won't rest until he's dead!" He looked at Dustin with murderous intent.
Archie was a man who had weathered countless storms in his life. Being humiliated like this was beyond what his pride could endure.
"Mr. Finn, with your influence, crushing this arrogant fool would take nothing more than the snap of your fingers!" said the Riley family to flatter him more.
Archie sneered. He thought so, too. "Bring my blood brother here. And while you're at it, summon the Grayvale Law Enforcement Unit."
The Riley family nodded quickly and prepared to act.
"Mr. Finn, I've already taken care of it," Waylon interjected with a sly smile on his face.
From the moment Shawna and Dustin entered, Waylon had begun laying his trap.
Having witnessed Dustin's unorthodox strength, he knew only someone truly formidable could handle him.
This was also an excellent chance to butter up to Archie.
"Mr. Finn, Mr. Donner is already outside the Riley family villa!"
"Well done!" Archie's eyes lit up with satisfaction.
The Riley family showered Waylon with approving looks.
Waylon turned to Dustin. The unspoken message was clear: This is where it ends for you.
"Where is the surviving descendant of the Fox family?!" A thunderous voice boomed from outside. It carried with it an oppressive aura that penetrated the Riley family villa.
Even from hundreds of yards away, the murderous energy felt suffocating as it bore down on Dustin. His brow furrowed. Shawna's face drained of color.
The Riley family members brightened with glee, none more so than Archie, who rushed outside to greet the newcomer.
"Your days are numbered, little security guard!" Waylon sneered "Mr. Donner isn't just anyone. His reputation is unmatched in the West. He rules with an iron fist, and no one dares challenge him.
"He is a true martial arts master of Honora!"
