“I Crater West reject you, Nora Morris, as my Mate,” he growled in extreme anger and left her broken behind.

Nora felt like breaking all her bonds with her mate. And at the same time, she felt a sharp pain in her heart as if her ruthless mate had ripped her heart out of her body.

She tried to get up from bed. But her body is so painful there is no power left in her body like there is no life in her body. She was left with nothing but an empty heart and emotionless eyes. Nor was there any hope of living left in her. Her wolf also sadly left her side. She felt so hurt knowing that her mate didn’t want her. Nora was replaceing it difficult to breathe due to immense pain.

“Ah… why? Why did you break me, Carter?” She said, groaning in pain.

“Mom…Mom…Open your eyes, Mom.” Then a soft voice reached Nora’s ears.

“Huh?” Nora opened her eyes in surprise and got up and started looking around.

She saw that her four-year-old son Ace is sitting on his knees beside her. He was staring at his mother with his big eyes. Worry was clearly visible on his face.

“Ace….” Nara murmured his name.

“Did you have the same nightmare again?” Ace asked in a worried tone, wiping off her sweat using a handkerchief.

Seeing Ace’s innocent face, Nora finally comes back to reality. Ace was carefully wiping the sweat from his mother’s face. Seeing the behavior of her son, she smiled softly and took him in her warm embrace. Slowly her mind started to calm down with the scent of her child. Her son is so understanding that he just started helping Nora to calm down by patting Nora on the shoulder with his little hands.

“Ace, did I scare you?” Nora asked carefully.

“No Mom. I’m just worried about you. You always have nightmares whenever there’s a full moon, and you have trouble sleeping. Today is the full moon,” Ace said, wiping tears streaming down Nora’s cheeks quickly.

“Hmm… so that’s why I had that dream. But it’s just a bad dream, baby. Don’t worry, your mom is stronger.” Nora said with a calm smile.

“I know you are my strong Mom. That’s why I will become strong like you. So that I can protect my mother.” He said, waving his hand.

“Of course, my baby. You will definitely become a good and strong son. Who will protect me and your sisters! Now, tell me where are your little sisters?” Nora asked while running her fingers through Ace’s hair.

“Mom…my hair!!” Ace said, setting his hair back.

Ace doesn’t like his messy hair at all. He gets annoyed when someone touches his hair. Nora is the only one whose touch doesn’t irritate Ace. He loves his mother the most in this world.

“You look cute in that hair,” Nora said with a smile.

“I don’t like to look cute. I like to look smart.” Ace said while adjusting his school uniform.

“Ok, now tell me your sister is ready for school?” Nora asked with a smile.

“Yes. Both girls are ready for school. Abby-Gabby is with Uncle Leo in the kitchen preparing breakfast for you. I came to wake you up.” Ace said, jumping down from the bed.

“Did you have your breakfast?” Nora asked.

“No. I’m waiting for you to come down.” Ace said in a nervous voice.

Nora knows that Ace always has breakfast with her. Ace likes to have breakfast with his mother. It was his invisible rule that he never broke.

“Okay, okay, I’ll take a quick shower, and then I’ll come downstairs for breakfast. You go and have your breakfast first. Then we’ll go to your school.” Nora said, smiling.

“Ok.” Ace nodded and hurriedly ran out of the room.

“Careful, Ace…” she shouted after him.

“Okay, Mom…” Ace answers her in the same tone.

“This boy,” she said helplessly.

The smile disappeared from Nora’s face as soon as Ace left the room. Her eyes were fixed on her wrist. That mark was still visible on her wrist.

That night when Nora’s mate rejected her. She blamed her unfortunate fate. Nora tried to end her life by cutting her wrist because her life seemed meaningless to her. And there was no left hope to live more but to end her life.

But at the last moment, her friend Leo found her in time and saved her life. Leo took her to the hospital.

Leo was an important person in her life. Leo always inspired Nora to live life for herself. As Nora slowly tries to get back on her feet while trying to put her past behind her. She suddenly learns that she is pregnant. She got pregnant because of spending one night with her mate.

After a few months, Nora gave birth to triplets babies at the same time. Ace, the eldest boy born five minutes earlier than his twin sisters Abby-Gabby, looks like a small version of Nora.

At first, Nora was not able to understand how to handle those children. She neither had a job nor a house to live in. She had completed her surgery studies before she got rejected. She just didn’t have the experience. Nora had many questions in her heart regarding her children and her job.

But surrounded by thousands of questions, Nora had only one relief; That these three children are a sign of the love she and her mate had, the love she felt the night he touched her.

So what if her mate is not with her? She is not alone anymore; Her children are with her. She had enough reason to continue living.

On the other hand, Leo was also with her every step of the way to take care of her children. With time Nora forgets her pain and starts to stand on her feet for herself and her children. She continued practicing as a cardiac surgeon in a nearby hospital. After four years of hard work, she has become a famous surgeon in the human city.

Without her wolf, Nora continues to live like a normal person. She never forgot that part of herself. After that incident, he did not try to talk to his wolf. When Nora regained consciousness in the hospital, Wolf did not leave her. He simply locked himself behind thousands of doors. And Nora never tries to talk to him, because she doesn’t need her wolf in this life, she is busy living everyday life like other humans. He replaces the life of humans easier than the life of wolves.

But every full moon night she has the same nightmare. Who never lets Nora forget her past. She dreams that she sees the whole incident of rejection happening in front of her eyes. Nora has a panic attack seeing the incident unfolding before her eyes. Which becomes very difficult to handle.

It was a full moon night when she was rejected. That’s why she has that dream again and again. That incident was so deeply seated in her heart and mind that she could never succeed in getting that incident out of her heart, no matter how hard she tried to forget it.

Whenever Nora had a dream she cried in solitude and harmed herself in anger. In her terrible condition, only Leo helps her a lot in this condition. Leo knows how to help Nora recover. He has been taking care of her depression medicines.

Meanwhile, Ace has known about his mother’s condition since the beginning. When he was young, he used to get very scared seeing his mother crying and wailing. He always cries because of his mother’s condition. Abby and Gabby also used to cry out of fear. At the time where Leo used to take care of Nora. While there, Ace used to keep his sisters with him so that those girls would not be afraid. He used to fulfill the responsibility of a good elder brother every time.

Then as time goes on, Ace and the girls get used to Nora’s situation. Ace knew his mother’s condition very well. So he started living with his mother. Because of that, Nora’s condition helped to recover slowly. Only he can calm Nora down. And Ace has been doing it for years.

On the other hand, when Nora is depressed, she doesn’t care about anything. But She would always respond to Ace’s calls and touches. Nora can only be brought back to reality by Ace’s touch. And Ace has been doing so for the past four years. That’s why the bond between these mother-sons is powerful.

Similarly, Leo also lives in the same house as Nora. Due to Nora’s condition and to take care of the children, Leo bought a big house. so that Leo doesn’t have to run to treat Nora.

Today it has been four years since Leo has now become an important member of her house. Nora’s illness got cured with time. But Leo still kept an eye on her.

Nora still gets those dreams, but she takes care of herself. Leo and Nora both work at the same human hospital. In the morning both of them leave the house together, first they drop the children at school and then go to the hospital. Here they live their daily routine.

“When will this end?” Nora asked herself the question.

But She could not replace the answer anywhere. She got up from the bed, took a deep breath, and went to the bathroom.

Nora has to get ready for the hospital. She was determined not to let her past stop her present and future. She needs to keep moving forward and leave her painful past behind.

She hopes that one day she will definitely forget her pain. But instead of looking forward to that day, she will continue to do what she has been doing for the last four years. Forgetting her terrible dream as a normal dream. And She is good at that.
