Sienna sighed silently and then approached Camille proactively. Shesaid, "Does Ayan know about it?"

“Yeah, got a call from Kian during breakfast, and he sent an invitation.What about you?"

“I found out in the morning too. He messaged me before boarding, but Ididn't reply.” Sienna smiled faintly. "Do you think Rex knows?"

Camille shook her head lightly. She said, "I'm not sure, but I guess hedoesn't. He didn't seem like he had something on his mind just now.""Men disguise it well. You can't tell at all. I can't either. So, I really don'tknow if he has any issues." Sienna said lightly, propping her chin.Camille looked at Sienna, tilting her head and asked in a low voice,"Tell me the truth, what are you thinking?"

"What else can I think? Am I supposed to follow him back just becausehe's in Hance City or compromise with his actions? If that's the case,why bother marrying Rex? If I've chosen to marry Rex, it means I'vemade a decision. If Mario's decisions don't change, then neither domine. He knows me, and I know him. The consequence of that wouldprobably be mutual destruction!"

Sienna's eyes shimmered with a resolute coldness. She looked atCamille, a deep-seated pressure evident in her eyes. She said,"Actually, I'm not afraid of anything. I'm just afraid that he'll go crazyand harm the Ward family and innocent people around me. In thatcase, I'll feel guilty for the rest of my life."

Sienna's words made Camille furrow her brows slightly. Camille saidgently, "I understand your concerns, but let me tell you, don't blameyourself or feel guilty for anyone. Their choices are not yours, and whatthey do is not your doing. So, it has nothing to do with you. Don't carryany pressure, and don't let your mind wander, okay?"

Camille's comfort brought a faint smile to Sienna's face, but there was ahint of bitterness in her heart. Because, even though the words werelike this, the reality might not be so.

There were things she had no choice but to do. But if something reallyhappened, she couldn't possibly walk away without paying a price.Because many things were already intertwined with her early on, howcould she possibly walk away without giving anything?

The two stayed in the villa for a long time. Camille said manycomforting words to soothe Sienna's worries. However, Sienna's moodstill carried some pressure.

Sienna asked Camille, "Should I go tonight?"

"Of course, not only should you go, but you should also bring Rex withyou. If Mario doesn't invite Rex, let him go as your husband. You shouldalso take the initiative to reveal your relationship and let everyone knowhe's your brother. Only by setting the tone early can you catch Mario offguard.”

Camille had been thinking about how to prevent Sienna from beingharmed ever since Ayan mentioned that Mario was coming to HanceCity.

If everything came from Mario voluntarily, Sienna would definitely be ata disadvantage. She would not only be at a disadvantage but wouldalso be caught up in the rumors and scrutiny.

Camille had experienced too many rumors and scrutiny, so she knewhow uncomfortable it felt. Even though she tried not to care about otherpeople's opinions, sometimes she couldn't help but look and end upoverthinking.

Thinking about this, Camille's expression became even more serious.She gently held Sienna's hand and said, “When it comes to Rex, I hopeyou'll be honest, especially about Mario. You must be absolutelyhonest. Only if you're honest about everything, there won't be anyconflicts between you and Rex because of Mario. No one can threatenyou two because of Mario. Do you understand what I mean?"

Sienna smiled, "You really have the mindset of a married mom,considering things more thoroughly than I can imagine. How about I callyou Mom Camille from now on?"

Sienna was joking, and she seemed to have taken Camille's words toheart, appearing much better now.

Camille snorted playfully, saying, “Don't know how to appreciate a goodperson. I'm doing this for whom? For you, of course.”

Sienna leaned against Camille, saying, “I know, with you around, I feelat ease.”

Camille took a deep breath and said, "For some matters, decide foryourself. If you need me, feel free to ask, okay?"

"Sure. Got it, Mom Camille.”

"You shameless brat."

"Hahaha."

The two teased each other, and their moods became pleasant.

They didn't go to the company in the morning but instead wentshopping together. Since they had a dance party to attend in theevening, they specifically chose dresses for the occasion.

Although the house received regular deliveries of clothes, they rarelytouched them, feeling that the ones they bought themselves were morecomfortable.

The two spent the whole morning in the mall and bought quite a fewthings.

They were quite happy, but Rex's mood wasn't as good.

Rex also received an invitation, which was like a challenge for him.

So, he didn't have much focus on work in the morning since there wasno reply from Sienna. He wondered what Sienna was thinking.

The couple seemed to have fallen into a pattern of guessing eachother's thoughts.

Finally, after enduring until the end of the workday, Rex had the drivertake him to Simpson Group.

He had lunch in the Simpson Group office with Ayan.

The assistant ordered takeout for the two. Since Kian wasn't around,Rex casually asked, "Kian isn't here?"

"He's on a business trip."

"Oh, he can replace you on business trips now?"

Ayan glanced at him indifferently and asked lightly, “So, did you comeall the way here just to replace him?"

Rex deflated, looking like a deflated balloon. He sighed silently andsaid, "Ayan, don't joke with me. I really have something to talk to youabout.”

Ayan poured him a cup of hot tea and said in a detached tone, "You'rescared because of a Mario?"

"Of course not. Scared of him? How is that possible?" Rex's reactionwas quite intense. He said, “I'm not scared of him; I replace him annoying.”If it were just him, Rex could handle it even in a one-on-one fight. Theproblem was that Mario didn't fight fair. He only knew how to scheme,which was annoying.

If Mario confronted him directly, Rex wouldn't have any worries. Hewouldn't even blink his eyes. But Mario wasn't that kind of person.Whenever he struck, it was sudden, without giving any psychologicalpreparation.

For instance, this time, he suddenly came to Hance City, using theexcuse of launching a project to invite almost half of Hance City'sbusiness community. It was a typical sign of ill intentions.

As for what Mario wants to do, no one knows for sure. But Rex felt thathe was a person with deep scheming and cunning. Despite knowingthat they were already married, Mario still went to great lengths tointerfere. What was this? Trying to sow discord in a relationship?

It was truly shameless.

The more Rex thought about it, the more agitated he became. His faceturned icy, and he looked indifferently at Ayan, expressing hisdissatisfaction, "Can you believe what Mario is up to? Is theresomething wrong with his head?"

Seeing his angry appearance, Ayan couldn't help but smile faintly andsaid, "You look like a jealous husband now. Do you want to take a lookat yourself in the mirror? Be careful not to be seen by Sienna, so youwon't be suspected!”

Upon hearing Sienna's name, Rex immediately hid the stiffness andanger on his face. Ayan continued, “Let him do whatever he wants. Thisis Hance City, not Flento City. It's your territory. What are you worriedabout?"

Rex squinted slightly, his face unusually cold, "Not worried? Can it bedone? Mario is coming with great force, obviously well-prepared.”"He's well-prepared, and you're not?"
