Chapter 638 - Send Away

Chapter 638 - Send Away

When Cora saw that he was leaving, she couldn't control her emotionsand said, "Ayan, Ayan, please let me go! Please, I don't want to betrapped here all my life. As long as I can get out, you can make me doanything, OK?"

Ayan did not respond, just gave her a deep look before lifting his feetand walking out.

Cora couldn't control herself and started to curse Camille: "She's theone who have talked you into all of this, right? Why do you still refuse toseparate when you're divorced? She's the one who's been pesteringyou, isn't she? Bitch, Camille, you bitch, bitch!"

“I'l have someone send you out of here later." Ayan stopped and turnedaround to set his gaze back on her, and his deep eyes were filled with achill like a sharp sword that people didn't dare to look at.

Cora naturally shut up immediately, and if it wasn't for the wordscoming out of his mouth, she even had the illusion that Ayan would juststrangle her to death.

But when he said he would arrange for her to leave the area, was hetrying to release her behind Camille's back?

Cora's heart rose with hope and wondered if Ayan had gone soft on herfor old times’ sake.

If this was really the case, then did it mean that Ayan still had her in hisheart?

While thinking of this, her heart also rose with a trace of joy. She knewAyan was still thinking about their love.

With her lips lightly pursed and her eyes full of hope, she asked in a lowvoice, “Ayan, are you really willing to let me leave here?"

"Of course!" He kept his eyes narrowed and the meaning under hiseyes was thick with obvious hints that made it hard to read.

Cora asked again, "Where are you sending me when you leave here? Idon't want to go back to Austin, I can go anywhere you want me to goas long as I can be with you."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah." She nodded heavily, and a light smile spread across her face, but Ayan didn't even give it another glance, just skimmed it indifferentlyand left the room.

From the room, Kian also immediately greeted, he inchalantlyinstructed: "Later you drive Cora back, according to our original plan.”Kian nodded and the two walked back to the living room.

Ayan looked at Camille and said, "Let's go upstairs for a while?"Camille didn't know what he was going to do, but nodded in agreement. The two went upstairs, and although there weren't always people livinghere, it was well=equipped with everything.

The two of them sat on the on the second floor balcony. The maidbrought fruit and tea, and then when the maid retreated, Ayan spokeunhurriedly, "I asked Kian to send Cora away."

"Where to send her?" Camille asked as she turned to face Ayan.

He didn't answer, just said, "Not now, later, huh?"

He kept it from her, and Camille was at a loss.

She wondered what Ayan was trying to do.

But since he chose to send Cora away from here, the he must havealready thought of the punishment. To save some unnecessaryarguments and trouble, Camille could not help but say, “If you protecther in the name of sending her away, you know the consequences.”Even if he didn't talk and he could have everyone keep it as a secret, could he keep it from her for a lifetime?

Sooner or later, there would be a time when she would know. And whenthat time came, she would definitely draw a line with him at every cost.Cora had crossed a line she could never forgive for the rest of her life. Her voice was not very loud, but the tone and her determination werevery clear and obvious, especially the hint of meaning that made Ayanslightly stunned.

The expression on his face then became grave, and his voice was low,“I don't mean to protect her, it's just that it's not safe here for now."

“I'm also just giving you a heads up to tell you what's on my mind, soyou don't need to explain anything!"

She lowered her eyes and stopped looking at him, with a very coldexpression on her face.

Ayan looked at her as a message beeped from his phone. It was fromKian, "Mr. Simpson, we're leaving now, you and Mrs. Simpson can getready."

"Hmm." Ayan finished his reply, then looked to Camille and said, "We'reready to go."

“Is it so soon?" It hadn't been long since she sat down.

Ayan looked at the time on his watch, and he had stood up first to lookdown on the balcony. Kian had already left the villa in his car. He thenspoke softly: "Kian took her away, we can go too."

Camille didn't know what Ayan was going to do, but listened to him andleft the villa together.

But Ayan drove out of the villa and did not leave immediately, but founda place nearby where he could see the villa's front door and stopped.Camille looked at Ayan with some confusion and asked, "What are youand Kian doing?"

"Austin has been looking for Cora. He wants to take Cora away fromus. It's been so many days without any news, and his eyes are alwayson us. Yesterday I have deliberately let Kian reveal the news. Austin willsurely come looking for her."

"Is that why you let Kian take Cora away?"

"Well, there is that reason, but not exactly.” Ayan's eyes were fixed onthe window and his tone was light as he spat out the words, "Coraliving here all the time is not the way to go, it's not a punishment but away to help her escape from Austin, since it is impossible to hand herover to Austin, then send her to where she should be."

"Where did you ask Kian to send her?"

"Psychiatric Hospital!"

Camille was slightly stunned, and her eyes were slightly enlarged for amoment. She lowered her eyes to keep the silence tight before sayingfaintly, "Have you made up your mind?"

Her reaction made Ayan feel a tinge of displeasure. He lightly tsked andleaned towards her. With a low voice, he said, "What do you mean bythat? I've explained so much and you still don't believe me? Or do youthink I helped send her away from here to protect her?"

"I didn't say that." Camille responded indifferently.

Ayan's deep eyes narrowed more tightly, and his voice grew lower andlower: "You didn't say that, but that's what you meant in your heart. Youdon't trust me, do you?"

Camille did not speak, her face slightly cold, but her attitude haddisguisedly told Ayan that she did have doubts on him.

Camille was a little surprising to know that Cora was being sent to amental hospital, but beyond that there were questions, questions aboutwhether he was really sending her there?

Camille's silence made Ayan laugh lightly. His eyes were indifferentwithout any ripples. He said, "Since you don't believe me, why don'tyou communicate with me? Camille, I don't think we should be like this, shouldn't we be more honest?"

His words were like an unstoppable gyroscope that kept spinning onher heart, upsetting all her composure.

She pursed her lips slightly for a moment before speaking, "Okay, thenlet me ask you, did you send Cora to the mental hospital to protect heror punish her?"

"Of course it's the latter. If I can keep her hidden here all the time toprotect her, why bother with the extra work?"

"Well, I know."

"It's OK now?"

"Hmm."

Ayan smiled with satisfaction and reached out to take her hand in his,but Camille subconsciously pulled away and said impassively, "Justbecause I trust you doesn't mean you can just touch me."

After saying that, she turned her head to look out the window.

Ayan was a bit helpless, but there was no other way.

He could only indulge her.

At the same time, Cora sitting in the car driven by Kian also vaguely feltsomething strange. The car drove straight out of the suburbs of HanceCity. It was getting quieter and less crowded.

Cora asked impatiently, "Kian, where did Ayan ask you to send me?"
