Chapter 659 Car Accident

Chapter 659 Car Accident

Kian looked slightly gloomy as he responded, "The doctor said therewas no life-threatening injury, but there was a minor one in the head, aswell as a broken bone in the foot from the previous accident. And it willtake at least three months for him to resume walking."

Camille's heart was slightly relieved to hear the words "no life-threatening".

As long as it was not life-threatening, any injury could be slowlyrecuperated.

She didn't say anything else, and looked up at the Resuscitation Roomin front of her. Kian, who was on the side, couldn't figure out what shewas thinking, so he could only wait with her in silence.

The lights in the resuscitation room went out at ten o'clock at night, andhe was pushed out by the nurse from the Resuscitation Room. He wassitting in a wheelchair, and his feet were being treated for seriousinjuries, his handsome face was covered with bruises, and his foreheadwas wrapped in gauze.

Although not life-threatening, his head was hit, so a full detailedexamination was also done anyway.

As soon as he came out, he saw Camille standing outside, and hisdeep gaze fell on her without moving.

Camille gave him a nonchalant look before skimming her gaze directlyto the doctor behind her. She walked up, but not towards him, but to thedoctor and asked, “Is he all right?"

"The situation is not bad. As long as he is taken good care of, he willrecover gradually. After all, the injury is in the bone. Mr. Simpson nowhas been injured for the second time, so he still needs more treatmentand care.”

Camille nodded and thanked the doctor, and then the doctor asked totake Ayan to the ward for rest. The wheelchair was originally pushed bythe nurse, but Kian saw it and immediately took it, while Camille walkedaside and accompanied Ayan back to the ward.

The two did not have any conversation or communication the wholetime. And when they got back to the ward, Kian also rushed to helpAyan to bed. Camille stood still and just watched him lie down.

Ayan spoke in a hoarse voice, "Kian, it's getting late, you can go backnow!"

Kian didn't dare to make a sound, but just subconsciously looked toCamille who was on the side, then immediately nodded, "Yes."

After Kian left the room, Ayan then extended his hand towards Camille:"Why are you ignoring me?"

His voice sounded low, but Camille picked up an element of grievancein his tone.

Camille had no answer, just a glance at him, and only then did she liftwalk towards him.

She reached out her hand, he took it in his and gently pulled the personover. Camille immediately wrinkled her brow: "Don’t you move, stillrestless after being injured?”

He didn't care. He just stared at Camille and said, "Say it, why are youignoring me? You are upset because I'm hurt?"

"No."

"So you're not worried if I get hurt?"

Camille frowned and said nothing.

Ayan chuckled lightly, "Where did you go tonight?"

Camille said with a blank face, "Don't you know all about it?"

“I want to hear it from you in person.”

He looked at her in a composed way, as if he was confident to take her.Camille smiled indifferently, and her voice was not warm in response,"And you? Why did you suddenly have a car accident?"

Ayan snorted lightly, and his voice was hoarse as he responded, "Ithappened on the way back to the Simpson's mansion. Just a littleaccident, don't take it to heart. I'm not dead."

He said it with great insouciance, as if he didn't care at all.

The expression on Camille's face immediately went cold and her eyeswere gloomy and indifferent as she said, "You have to say somethinglike that, don't you?"

Her voice was plainly unhappy, the implication of displeasure obvious.Ayan immediately smiled lightly and reached out to try to take her intohis arms, "Okay, I was wrong."

Camille expressionlessly swept him a glance. There was anindescribable feeling rising from her heart. On the one hand, she wasworried about him, and on the other hand, because of his inattention, she was a little angery. Camille subconsciously struggled, and Ayanreached out to pull her. Probably he used too much strength, his injuryin the feet was pulled. He hissed.

Camille immediately froze and didn't dare to move again, with obviousconcern spilling out of her eyes, she frowned tightly, "Is everything allright?”

When she stopped moving, Ayan smoothly held her in his arms andwhispered, “You know how to care about me now?"

Camille looked at him expressionlessly and said in a nonchalant voice,"Next time when you go back to the Simpson's mansion, let Kian or thedriver drive instead of yourself."

"Good." He answered positively.

She added, "I tell you now, and you will forget about it later.”

“I won't forget, I promise.” He held up his hand in a gesture ofassurance.

Camille nonchalantly glanced at him and continued: "Don't tell momand dad about it, OK? Grandpa has just recovered a bit, if he knew youwere injured, he would be anxious."

"Well, I will listen to you all the time." Ayan nodded his head, like a hen-pecked husband, but that was what he intended in his heart. He did notthink of telling his family. As for her, as his wife, it was natural to let herknow it, otherwise who could take care of him?

Ayan nodded seriously in response to Camille's every word, no matterwhat she said, he would obey, so that Camille had nothing more to say,he then asked, "Finished?"

She froze, "Do you think I talk too much?"

“No, I'm just asking, if you're not done, you can continue. If you aredone, can you do me a favor?"

He asked seriously, not like a joke.

Camille asked, "What kind of favor?"

After all, she was the only one here now, so she could only help him.His voice was unhurried, and the expression on his face seemed toflicker with a hint of hesitation as he said, “Forget it, I'll bear with it, or itwill be too much trouble.”

Camille looked confused and said, "What are you going to do?"

Ayan's expression was more than hesitant, and there seemed to besome difficulty at the bottom of his deep eyes.

She looked seriously, naturally she did not miss any change in hisexpression, and her heart could not help but guess what he was goingto do in the end.

She said, "If you have something to say, just say it. I will help if I can. Ifit's not convenient to tell me, then I will call Kian back for you?"

"It's too much trouble to call him back at this hour. In fact, I don't haveanything serious. It's probably just lifting a finger for you."

"You can tell me."

“I want to go to the bathroom, so can you help me?"

Camille's face then relaxed a little. Just to go to the bathroom. Helooked as if it was going to be something else of a big deal.

She didn't speak, just lifting the covers to help him slowly out of bed. Asonly one foot could move, he put almost all his weight on Camille.

It was hard to get into the bathroom. The small space made the twocloser together. Camille said uncomfortably, “You first... Do it and callme when you're done.”

After saying that, she immediately dodged and walked outside, exhaleddeeply, and then stood at the door waiting.

Ayan in the washroom was amused by her newly reddened face. Atrace of warmth spilled out of his eyes, but it was followed byindifference on his face. He took out his phone and dialed Kian'snumber directly. He said, "Did you replace out anything about tonight'sincident?"
