Holy penis ! My mouth dropped open in shock as I stood in the bathroom doorway, where I’d just walked in on my boyfriends’ roommate, Silas Turner. Close your mouth, you idiot, there’s a penis just hanging around. No matter how much my brain screamed at my body to turn around and leave, I was frozen with no idea how to delicately remove myself from the situation. It’s huge. I meant to slap my hands over my eyes but I covered my mouth instead. It was probably for the best because I didn’t trust myself to not repeat my thoughts out loud.

“What the fuck, Harper?!” His angry voice was cold enough to chill the steam filling the room.

I jerked my gaze up his body, stumbling over a lot of abs and two very hard pecs, until I met his hard gaze. He was fuming. His face was twisted with his anger and not even the water droplets rolling down his bare chest could distract from the storm in his eyes.

“I’m so-” Sorry. I was going to say I was so sorry but movement from down below caught my attention and my jaw just about unhinged itself from the shock and awe of watching Silas Turner’s huge penis grow stiff in front of me.

Time stood still as it reached towards me, an angry red at the tip and so veiny that I thought I could hear the pulse in it. Oh. So, that’s what a penis is supposed to look like. That thought sent guilt flushing through my system and I jerked my gaze back up to Silas’.

Too late, I realized he was even more pissed off than before. “It’s bad enough that you’ve been here for days, Princess, the least you could do is learn to fucking knock!”

Okay, even with a giant, distracting penis, he didn’t get to talk to me like that. “I did knock! No one answered so I came in. Why don’t you put a towel on?!”

“Because I’m in my bathroom! Fuck! Jake needs to get back here and get you out of here. I can only be around a gold-digging pain in the ass for so long before I lose my shit.” He’d riled himself up, it seemed. “You’ve been nothing but a distraction since you showed up. Jake’s a fucking fool for doing this with you.”

Buttons pushed. I straightened to my full height and glared at him. “Jake broke records last season, while dating me, so how’s that for a distraction? Asshole. For a kicker, you sure do think you’re god’s gift, don’t you?”

Carter Hayes, another of Jake’s roommates, joined us, much to my continued horror. He looked at Silas and then grinned at me. “Ah. I was wondering what all the shouting was about but I see that Jake’s baby has finally seen what Jake’s not playing with. It really isn’t fair, is it?”

His stupid joke was worse because I’d just been thinking something similar. I scowled at him and then back at Silas. “Thank god we’re leaving this hellhole.”

Jake’s third and final roommate, Dylan Cooper, walked by at the moment and shot me a hard glare. He shook his head and kept walking, not even bothering with a rude comment which was almost more offensive, like I wasn’t even worth his time.

“Sure you don’t want to take a picture before you leave?” Carter really was an asshole.

I pushed past him and stomped back to Jake’s room. Slamming the door, I leaned against it and covered my face with my hands. I couldn’t live with them for one more day. Seeing Silas naked was just the icing on the cake.

Jake had been gone for a week, visiting family, and I was ready for him to be home. Living alone with his roommates without him for even just that small amount of time was too much. I told myself over and over again that I just had one more night. Jake would be home that evening and we would attend the beginning of the year banquet for the football team and then we’d move out together in the morning. It was all planned out. I’d packed Jake’s things for him while he was away and my stuff was already ready and waiting.

One more night. Just one more night. I groaned heavily as I pushed away from the door and sat on the bed next to my black garment bag. I’d kept one special dress out to wear to the banquet and if I dug down deep, under all the stress of moving and living with three cavemen, I’d replace my excitement again. The banquet was a big deal and getting to dress up was nice. A few of the people in my sports medicine program would be there so I’d get to see friendly faces.

I didn’t want to let Silas ruin my night. I still felt hot with embarrassment and the idea of facing any of them after I’d stared at his penis was humiliating, but Jake was coming home and I’d spend the night in his arms, forgetting about his roommates.

My dress would be perfect for dancing and I was going to make sure Jake and I danced. I needed something, anything, to get over the mood I was in.

When I knew the coast was clear, I snuck into the bathroom and took a quick shower, taking care to not mess up my hair. I wanted to be perfect for Jake so I did an everything shower, scrubbing and shaving every part of me until I was shiny, smooth, and smelled like his favorite fruit, strawberries. I did my makeup to perfection, making sure my eyes were dramatic but still classy. I let my hair down and it fell in big waves, the dark auburn color shining against the emerald green dress I’d chosen. I’d worn it before but I didn’t think anyone would notice. It was an off the shoulder gown with a slit up to my thigh that only showed when I took an exaggerated step or crossed my legs. It was sophisticated and sexy and it made me feel like a goddess.

I’d just struggled to zip up the back by myself when the bedroom door swung open and Jake walked in. I straightened and posed for him, a bright smile on my face. “Hey, babe so glad you’re back! What do you think?”

He dropped his duffel bag at his feet and pinched the bridge of his nose. “It’s not a pageant, Harper. It’s been a long fucking day already and I just need a minute, okay?”

I swallowed down my hurt feelings and gestured to the bed. “Sit down and I’ll massage your shoulders.”

He finally walked over and stopped just an inch away as he stared down at me. “Your tits look fantastic.”

“Jake!” I laughed and pushed him down on the bed. “I have your suit out and ready for you. I’ll massage you and then you can take a shower. Just a few hours and we’ll be back here for one more night before we move into our new place tomorrow. Then you can take a few days off to just relax. I know you’re tired.”

His phone vibrated where he’d put it on the bed and I glanced down as he grabbed it and silently tapped away at it before putting it down again. “My right shoulder, Harper. Jesus.”

It was fine. He was just stressed and needed a break. I dug my fingers in just the right spot and was rewarded with a deep, satisfied groan. I had a fleeting thought of how much I’d loved massaging him in the beginning of our relationship and how much that moan would’ve turned me on back then.

Another text came in and he practically dove for the phone again. My nerves were probably shot from everything going on, all the changes we were going through, but I felt uneasy about the way he was acting with his phone. “Who’s messaging you?”

Jake scoffed and stood up, nearly knocking me to the floor in his haste. “Jesus, Harper. You’re not going to turn into some clingy type now, are you? It’s nothing. I just got back, I’m not looking forward to this shit tonight, and I just need some peace for once. I’m going to take a shower. Try to replace a different dress. That material looks cheap.”
