Chapter 1345 One Of Her Many

Genevieve asked Cooper to take the children to eat first.

She had just unscrewed the cap of the mineral water and taken two sips when Armand's call ended. Genevieve curiously asked, "Was that a call from your boss?"

"No," Armand replied, taking the water bottle. The two of them headed to the dining room together.

In the afternoon, as everyone packed up their belongings and ended their delightful weekend, they returned to Swallow Garden. Armand asked Genevieve, "Do you remember that time we met Scarlette at the restaurant?"

"Remember," Genevieve leaned against the kitchen counter, teasing with a smile, "your childhood friend!"

Armand said, "She studied performing arts at Bellridge University and wanted to enter the entertainment industry after returning to her country. However, the resources in Xedells' entertainment industry are too limited."

Genevieve understood, "So she wants to enter the mainland's entertainment industry?"

"Mhm." Armand looked down at Genevieve. "She called me this morning, hoping to join Genevieve Orsi Productions."

"Let's go," Genevieve answered crisply.

After waiting for a while and noticing that she didn't ask anything else, Armand raised his eyebrows and said, "Don't you have any questions for me?"

"Since you agreed to help her, you either owe her a favor or have some deal with her," Genevieve took a sip of her black tea and then looked at him. "Should I be suspicious that you two are having an affair?" "Besides, Scarlette has a charming appearance that the audience really likes. If she can make money for me, why wouldn't I sign her?"

Armand kissed Genevieve's forehead, "My wife is getting smarter and smarter."

And they trust him so much.

"Wrong, it's the mayor's wife." Genevieve playfully poked the man's chest, correcting him. "As an official's wife, I must be patient and intelligent. Imagine if one day during a gathering of your big bosses, I don't bring you honor but instead embarrass you. That would be terrible, wouldn't it?"

Armand chuckled softly, then took her hand and gently kissed it. "Thank you, Madam Mayor, for taking the trouble to learn about human nature and worldly affairs for my sake."

"Sure, you're welcome," Genevieve said generously.

At 7:30 in the evening, Charlotte arrived punctually at the Imperial Club.

On such a cold day, she still exudes stunning beauty.

Wearing a sweater and a black vest, the vest's back seam cinches in, revealing a slender waist that can be grasped with one hand. Beneath the jeans, long legs are straight and shapely.

The once faded yellow hair was given a six-figure treatment at the beauty salon yesterday, dyed a mermaid red, with slightly curled ends lazily draped over her shoulders. The not-so-intense red hair made her face appear even more fair, and the slight upward tilt at the corners of her eyes added an indescribable charm.

Charlotte exudes a powerful presence, as if emanating an aura that says, "I'm expensive, don't come near me."

She used to visit the Imperial Club often, so she was quite familiar with it.

After entering the club, Charlotte waved her hand to let the waiter go about their business. She headed straight to the entertainment room on the second floor and politely knocked on the door before entering. The door was quickly pulled open, revealing a slightly plump man standing inside. Upon seeing Charlotte, his eyes lit up.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Zander." Normally, Charlotte wouldn't bother talking to these people. She would just go straight in and replace the person she was looking for. But today was different from usual. And today, she came to get things done, not to mess things up.

Soon after, Charlotte followed the man into the entertainment room, where she saw a few men holding cue sticks and standing in front of a snooker table. One of them was Zander, dressed in casual attire, exuding an elegant and easygoing demeanor.

Charlotte thought about the private behavior of this man and then thought about Cooper. She couldn't help but wonder why there was such a huge contrast between the refined appearance and the actual character of these seemingly elegant people.

Jerry is really great, always consistent whether in public or private, and always ready to help when called upon.

Charlotte realized she had been lost in thought and quickly shook her head to clear her mind. She headed toward the snooker table, and as she approached, the people there recognized her. "Isn't this Ms. Benson? What brings you here?"

The man who opened the door to let Charlotte in said, "She's looking for Zander."

"Zander, you're really something," someone laughed. "Not only did you run into your first love at the holiday resort yesterday, but today Ms. Benson even came looking for you. Is there something going on between you two?"

Zander glanced at Charlotte and candidly said, "I'm one of her many ex-boyfriends."
