They thought they were doomed.

Because Sabrina's mother was mad at them.

But, instead of punishing them, she started scolding Sabrina.

Dory and the woman were stunned at this unexpected turn of events.

Seeing what had happened, Dory quickly volunteered, "Madam, let me go after Sabrina. There are a lot of rivers around here, you might fall into them by accident and get hurt. I'll bring Sabrina back."

She then ran out the door.

Selina wanted to stop her, but didn't.

Dory very quickly found Sabrina.

Sabrina was angrily kicking pebbles off the street, "Stupid mommy! Even she slapped me! She's not my real mommy! I'm going to tell daddy to get me a new mommy!"

"She's a horrible woman! She can't be my real mommy!"

"Sabrina." Dory gently called out to her.

Sabrina turned around and yelled at Dory, "What are you calling me for?! You must think you're so amazing right now, don't you?! My mommy actually took your side, you lousy hillbilly! You must think you're so amazing right now!"

Dory shook her head, "Sabrina, you should come back. You mommy is very worried about you. Her eyes were red with tears when she saw you run away."

Instead of making her feel guilty, Sabrina reacted very differently. She got mad.

She shouted, "So what if she's crying?! She deserves it for what she did to me!"

Dory felt very sad when she heard Sabrina say that.

She could see that Sabrina's mother was a very nice woman and she loved Sabrina very much.

If she had a woman like her as her mother, she would be very happy.

Why couldn't Sabrina see that?

She asked, "Sabrina, your mother is very nice to you. You shouldn't say that."

Sabrina leaped up in anger.

She pointed her finger at Dory, "Who do you think you are?! Don't you dare lecture me you hillbilly! Don't think you're better than me just because my mommy is on your side!

Sabrina bent down, picked up a stone and flung it at Dory. "Crack!"

The stone hit Dory straight in her chest. It hurt so much that she wanted to cry. She didn't dare say anything to Sabrina. Instead she quickly moved away from her.

But she didn't go too far away. She was still keeping an eye on Sabrina.

She was worried that Sabrina might get in danger.

But she wasn't doing it for Sabrina.

If Sabrina got into an accident, her mother would be sad.

Dory didn't know why, but when she saw Sabrina's mother crying, she felt very sad.

That's why she volunteered to look after Sabrina for her.

Time slowly passed.

Soon, a whole hour had passed.

Sabrina still seemed angry, as she was still kicking stones around.

Sabrina's mother didn't come looking for her.

Instead, a man appeared.

From the distance, Dory noticed that he was a very tall man.

This man walked up to Sabrina.

Sabrina started talking very angrily to him.

But the man kept quiet. He didn't

her until she had
