My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey) -
Chapter 2678
Tremaine only held that thought for a brief moment.
He smiled bitterly to himself.
That would be impossible now.
Yesseca would never be with him ever again.
After they sat down, Tremaine asked who Dory was.
Yesseca told him that Dory was a girl she was friends with.
Sheldon immediately breathed out a sigh of relief.
Thank goodness.
He thought that she was Yesseca's daughter.
Hearing that Dory was just a friend of Yesseca's, Tremaine took a good look at her.
She was a very cute little girl.
Her face was round and her eyes were dark and clear.
Tremain felt his heart tighten once more.
He suddenly remembered.
When he was still with Yesseca, he always imagined having a daughter who looked just like Yesseca.
He loved the thought of spending time with his daughter, playing with her and seeing her laugh.
That was all impossible now.
He could never have a daughter with Yesseca.
Tremaine was certain that he himself would never have a daughter, ever.
Because he couldn't be with Yesseca.
He was dead inside.
He died the day Yesseca left.
He vowed to never love any other woman in his life.
Things quickly turned awkward at the dining table.
Tremaine, Sheldon, and Yesseca were all seated down togther.
They all sat in a very awkward silence.
Tremaine kept quiet.
As did Yesseca.
Sheldon had no idea what to do next,
Then Dory spoke up.
Since she was a child, she wasn't bothered by awkwardness and simply spoke her mind.
Auntie Yesseca, why
She aren't
saying anything to them? should talk when they are g together."
Dory was clearly curious as to what was going on.
Yesseca looked at her quietly.
Feeling embarrassed after being asked that question, she then turned to Sheldon and asked, "So, how have the two of you been?"

"We've been doing very well." Tremaine finally spoke up, "And how about you? How have you been lately?"
"I've been doing well," replied Yesseca.
"That's good. Nice to know you're alright." Tremaine replied.
"It's all thanks to that recipe you got for me. It's helped me grow my business immensely."
"Don't mention it." Tremaine replied.
It was the least he could do for Yesseca.
He owed her so much for everything she's been through with him. If there was a way to pay her back, he would do it.
After that short conversation, things went quiet again.
Dory felt like something was off.
Just then, two women were passing by their table.
One was an older woman and the other a young woman.
The older woman was scolding the younger one, What is the matter with you?! I've finally set up a blind date for you, but you've completely wasted it! He's a pretty good looking man too! All you did was simply sit there in silence, not saying a word to him!"
The young woman was embarrassed.
She replied, "Well, blind dates are always awkward and embarrassing. I never know what to say."
She didn't seem keen on it, but the older woman was insistent.
Dory didn't know what a blind date was.
But being the little girl she was, she immediately assumed that sitting down together in silence was what a blind was.
Like what her Auntie Yesseca and these two men were doing right now.
She then asked innocently, "Auntie, are you on a blind date with these men right now?"
Yessica and Tremaine were shocked to hear this!
