Chapter 2

(Angel)

I followed Colin to the side of the school to a huge and beautiful willow tree. We both sat down own under the willow tree and just look around.

For some reason I feel safe with Colin and I feel this attraction towards him that I never had towards any male. Colin seems like a wonderful guy, but I have a dark past and I can't get close to anyone. Plus, he has a girlfriend. I mean why wouldn't he have a girlfriend. He's tall, about six feet six inches, maybe taller. Broad shoulders. He has black hair that's short on the sides and a little longer at the top and it looks lie he has run his hands through his hair a few times.

He has beautiful golden eyes, s3xy full lips, a smile that would make any woman drop her p*nties in a heartbeat, and his body... god he's body is like a Greek god's body. He's your father's worst nightmare and your mother's wet dream. It looks like god carved him out of the most expensive marble he had to perfection and placed him before me.

"I like coming here, but it's not my favorite place" Colin says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"You have a favorite place?" I ask and he nods.

"Where?" I ask.

"One day I'll show you" he says giving me a s3xy smirk.

"I'll hold you up to that" I said.

"You said you're from everywhere, right?' he asks and I hmm in respond.

"Where were you before coming here?" he asks.

"Everywhere. Let's just said I move a lot" I replied.

"Do you have any bother's or sisters?" I ask.

"I have a sister here in high school. Her name is Trisha. I also have two brothers at home, they are twins" Colin says.

"That's awesome. What are their names?" I ask.

"Theo and Leo. How about you? Do you have any brothers or sisters?" he asks. My younger brother's face flashes in my mind making my eyes sting with unshed tears and I have to close my eyes to keep the tears from falling. "No" I lied. I feel Colin's eyes on me. Then I feel a hand on mine making my eyes snap open to see him looking at me.

"I'm sorry I asked. I didn't mean to hurt you" he says. The look in his eyes made me quickly sit up. For a moment I saw my pain in his eyes. Before I knew what I was doing I cupped his face. Our faces were just a few inches from each other.

"You did nothing wrong, Colin. Thank you for being nice to me" I said. Colin smiled cupping my face as well. My mind felt foggy. He leans closer and just as we were about to kiss the bell rings making me jump back. We both stood up and began to walk towards the gym.

"Colin" I hear a female call. Colin stops looking behind him. He stops me and I turn to see a beautiful girl with long wavy, brown eyes with specs of blue... bright blue, and the same full lips. I have never seen eyes like hers before, yet I never seen anyone with golden eyes either.

"Trisha, I want you to meet Angel. Angel, I want you to meet my sister Trisha" Colin introduced.

"So, you're-" she stops and looks at Colin before she continues to talk "the new girl."

"I am" I said. We all hear a high pitch squeal making us turn to see what it was. It was none other than Tara. She wrapped her arms around Colin's neck bringing him down to kiss him. I looked away when I saw Colin look at me.

"Hi babe. How was your lunch?" she asks grabbing onto his left arm. I could see Colin moving his arm, but Tara grabbed it again. Not wanting to cause any trouble or be late for class I left just as Colin turned towards Tara. I walk in the locker room and go towards the teacher.

"You must be Angel Sanders" she says.

"I am" I said.

"Good, I'm Mrs. Torres, you can change over there and if you need anything let me know" Mrs. Torres says.

"Actually, I was wondering if you had other shorts instead of these" I said showing her the shorts.

"No, but if you don't like them you can bring your own from home, but you have to wear them today" she says and I nod. I go to where she told me to go to change.

(Colin)

I wait by the bleachers for my mate and my sister. I was going to end things with Tara right then and there, but I was interrupted by the bell which made her run to class before she was late. When Tara k!ssed me in front of my mate I couldn't help but look at her. She looked away just as I looked at her.

"Why haven't you told Angel you guys are mates. I know she's a wolf" Trisha says lowly.

"I can smell her wolf too, but I can also sense she hasn't shifted yet" I told my sister.

"But werewolves shift at the age of fifteen, Alpha's shift at the age of thirteen" my sister said.

"I know" I said.

"Do you think she knows she's a werewolf?" Trisha asks.

"I don't know" I admit. I remember she said she was from everywhere and I can't help but wonder why she would say that. What is she hiding? I hear a few wolves whistle and some girls whispering to each other. I look to see it was my mate. Her beautiful long toned legs were on full display. Her shorts showed off her s3xy bubble butt. The short sleeve shirt showed off her toned arms and a phoenix tattoo that went from her left shoulder to her wrist.

"Damn she has a killer body" my sister said. My mate to me is perfect with a killer body or not. I noticed three wolves walking towards my mate like she's some prey. I let out a growl and walked towards my mate with my sister hot on my heels. The wolves bowed their heads in submission before walking away.

"Hey, I was looking for you" I said.

"I didn't want to be late for class. Did you just hear something? It sounded like a growl" my mate said looking around.

"No" Trisha said.

"Alright everyone. Today we are going to do an obstacle course. Let's head outside" Coach Torres said. We all head outside and I make sure to stay close to my mate. Tara and her two minions join us. My mate looks at Tara and her minions before looking away. As soon as we are outside I can see my mate's face light up when she see the obstacle course.

"Alright, so, you're going to start from here at the stall bars, followed by push up/ inverted row bars, cargo net rope climb, zig zag balance beam, plyo step jumps, low parallel bar, A wall climber, twenty four inch over/under agility post, log carry, slamom agility posts, parallel bar upper body walk, obstacle staircase, rope climb station, drive sled push, low cargo net climb, six port t rex, balance steps, thirty six inch and forty eight inch over/under agility post, horizontal rope climb, swinging balance steps, and last but not least the triple wrapped wall. Coach Sam is going to show us how to do it" Coach Torres said. Coach Sam takes off doing the obstacle course. We made sure to do it and I could feel my mate's excitement.

"I can see you're very excited about this" I said making her look at me.

"I am" my mate replied making me smile at her.

"Do you actually think you can do this obstacle course?" Tara asked. My mate opened her mouth to talk but Tara put her hand up. My mate arched an eyebrow at Tara and I growl lowly at the disrespect towards her Luna. "This is a difficult obstacle course. Most of us train daily and every year they add something new" Tara says.

"I welcome a challenge" was the only thing my mate said before turning away from Tara. Trisha passed the obstacle course, then I passed it. It was now Tara's turn. I could see her say something to my mate that made my mate look at Tara and balled her fists. Tara passed the obstacle course.

"Angel Sanders" Coach Torres called. My mate went to the starting line and as soon as the whistle blew she tore through the obstacle course. I could see her muscles working and she looks hot as hell. She's making the obstacle course look easy and s3xy at the same time.

For us werewolves and my tribrid sister is not hard, but for someone who hasn't shifted and for humans it is, yet she's making it seem like it's not. As soon as she crosses the finish line, I'm there with a smile on my face. "That was awesome" I smile at her.

"Thanks. You did great too" she says. She pulls her shirt up and twist it to wring out the sweat. I look at her tone flat stomach and I see what seems to be two stab wounds on her right side of her stomach. She pulls her shirt down and we hear a whistle. "Alright everyone, go change" Coach Torres says.

"I'll meet you outside" I told her, then went to the boy's locker room to change.
