“Let me help you release your tension, and then we will continue our conversation at dinner, okay?” Caroline said, going down on her knee. Artemis looked at his mate, who was looking like a true seductress! A hiss escaped from his throat when she stuck out her tongue and licked his rod.

“F**k!!” He couldn’t control it and cursed, grabbing her hair. He kept cursing continuously at how his mate licked his length like a lollipop.

He didn’t mind taking so much tension and working so hard all the time if he would receive his stress reliever in this way.

“So, I was saying that whenever I open a new branch of the hotel in other cities, my competitors also ended up opening their branch as well,” Artemis said, munching the food.

“In that way, they are also running in loss.” Caroline pointed out.

“Yes, they are, but someone is definitely bearing their loss. That’s why they are still standing so strong against me. And I know that person is none other than my so-called cousin.” Artemis muttered, greeting his teeth. “I also planned to solve this problem, but it seems like my luck is not in my favor.”

“What was your plan? And what went wrong now?” Caroline asked softly, knowing her mate was not in a great mood because of the crisis going on in the company.

“I was thinking of merging this company with Weasley’s restaurant Frenchies.” Artemis shared his idea. “The same restaurant in which we ate in Madrid, remember? Rise Above Dining restaurant?” He reminded her. Caroline nodded her head and drank the water. She mentally promised herself that one day she would tell that Weasley’s were her relatives from her mother’s side.

“But Santino reached near them with this idea.” Artemis cursed mentally for not taking the first step. But unlike him, Artemis wouldn’t play dirty.

“If this happens, then Santino will become a star for sure. It was my plan. I just don’t understand how he came to know about it.” he muttered in anger.

Caroline placed her hand over his. “Don’t curse your luck, Artemis.” She smiled to cheer him up. “Lord Krishna advises in the Bhagavad Gita to perform actions without expectation of results. It doesn’t mean that one should work without accepting the wages. If we are able to perform actions without being preoccupied with the benefits, we will be able to discharge our duties efficiently.”

“Thank you, Sarah,” Artemis said, feeling proud of his choice. “I will be busy for the next couple of days or maybe a week because of all this. I won’t lie; I might have to travel to other states as well as other countries as well. So,… please bear with it.”

Caroline chuckled at his cuteness. He was informing her about his future schedule with so much love that there was no way she could get mad at him for leaving her alone just after marking her.

“It’s okay. I understand.”

“I’m feeling so bad about it,” Artemis said. “You will be spending your time alone, getting bored and…” he sighed before adding, “I’m….”

“Who said that I will be getting bored here?” Caroline asked, cutting him in between. “Remember, I asked yesterday about an orphanage and old age home that you know.”

“Yes!! You wanted to gift them something on my behalf.” Artemis responded, nodding his head.

“I will be working there from now onward. Not Orphanage, to be exact, but at old age home.” Caroline said, and Artemis looked at her as if she would soon say that it was a joke, but it never came. “As you already know that I have experience in working for an NGO as my hobby. So, I will be resuming that work.”

“Why NGO, Regina? You have done your studies in Architecture.”

“Because I love helping people, more than the area in which I have studied,” Caroline said and couldn’t see a frown on Artemis’s face as if he was not okay with it. Caroline quickly left her seat and sat on his lap to convince him a little more. “Please….” She muttered, rubbing her buttocks against his rod.

He narrowed his eyes, completely understanding her trap. Their dinner had already been completed, and they were having a conversation after dinner.

“Though I won’t listen to you still, I don’t want you to say NO. So, please.” She requested and kissed him passionately. Breaking the k**s, she looked into his eyes, waiting to hear the answer that she wanted from his mouth. While Artemis was glad that his option mattered to her, that was why she was trying to seduce him to get the answer that she wanted.

“Are you trying to seduce me for your benefit, Regina?” He asked, caressing her cheek.

“Umm…. is it working?”

“It is working, but what is the use of it? You are my lawfully marked mate. I can have you either this or that way.” Artemis chuckled, and Caroline pouted, knowing that whatever he was saying was true.

“Okay then, if you will say YES, then I promise to become your stress reliever wherever you will go, including going away from me.” Caroline offered an exciting offer that Artemis couldn’t reject, and hearing it; his eyes twinkled at the presence of Bolt as well. He knew that he might have to stay away from her, so this offer was not just exciting but also the demand of the time.

“Yes, from both of us.” Bolt quickly said, on which Caroline laughed before capturing his lips again.
