“I’m married,” Artemis said, showing his ring to her. “Your granddaughter can replace someone who is not taken.”

“Who is your wife? A NOBODY!! I can offer you more things than your wife can offer you. All she can offer you is her body, but I can offer you a fortune. Just like my grandpa offered to your mother.”

“I’m sorry, but I’m nothing like the woman sitting beside you. I’m not for sale.” Artemis responded to the bitch in a decent dress. “Unlike the woman sitting beside you, I give importance to LOVE and FAMILY rather than fortune and fame. Now that you’re done, then you can leave with your grandmother,” he added.

“HOW DARE YOU!!” Michelle left the chair in anger, throwing the glass paperweight and the file that was on Artemis’s table. “How can you ask me to leave?”

“With my mouth? Do you want to listen again? ‘Now that you’re done, then you can leave with your grandmother,’ OR I can ask guards to kick you out of the office.” Artemis said with a teasing smile on his face.

“You will regret this. I will snatch everything that belongs to you. I promise you that.”

“I think I really have to kick you out on my own.” Saying this, Artemis left his chair, but both Michelle and Megan left from there on their own, fuming in anger.

After a minute, Kane came into the cabin with some papers.

“Did you replace out that who has bought the shares that Santino has sold?” Artemis asked.

“Yes, sir!! It is a France-based company, Haysbert Incorporation. The president of the company is….”

“Brandon Dennis Haysbert,” Artemis mumbled in between, wondering why his father-in-law bought the share’s in the company. Was this a coincidence, or he already knew about them?

“Yes, sir!! But nowadays, the decisions are taken by his elder son C. E. Haysbert. So, I can exactly say who exactly bought the shares. So, I think his son has bought the shares in our company.”

‘Colton? But why did Colton buy the shares in the company? Well, I can’t ask him about it; after all, anyone could buy the company’s shares and sell them. Maybe he did so because of investment purpose?’

“So, now, Haysbert Corporation owns 15% of shares in our company, which also makes them major shareholders of the company,” Kane said. “The party is rich, and even the background is good; you can ask them for the investment, you know!!” Kane suggested without knowing that Haysbert was now a family.

“You bought 15% of the company’s shares,” Artemis stated while having dinner.

“Yes!! I did. And the last time I checked, I’m allowed to buy or sell the shares of any company by observing the growth of the company.” Colton said in a professional tone. “I haven’t done any favor by doing this. Favor is that Dad did by investing in Calvin’s Media Company and Mom’s Clothing Company which is more into NGO works than earning profit as well from where he wouldn’t get any profit. Investing in the hospitality industry can be beneficial to us, especially to me or anyone in the family. For example, we travel from time to time, and the quality of your hotel is better, and I’m positive along with time, it will get the best.”

Artemis nodded his head, replaceing his words justified.

“But… what I’m going to say next may sound like a favor to you,” Colton said, after pausing for a while. “But I will ask you to take into another way, like a loan. I want to give the company a loan of two hundred and fifty million dollars.”

“I can’t take any type of loan or anything coming from your father,” Artemis replied, shaking his eyes. “Please don’t get me wrong, but what if… what if he will use this point to make me stay in his house. We know how your father wants to keep Sarah with him all his life either by keeping her unmarried or making her husband stay with him.” he joked, looking at both brother and sister.

Caroline hit his arms before speaking, “My dad is not someone you play dirty or use the advantage of anyone’s situation.”

“But love can make a person do anything.” Artemis reasoned out. “And haven’t you heard that everything is fair in love and war?”

“Don’t worry about that part, hon. If dad is as hard as coconut from the outside, then he is also soft from the inside. You’re getting worried for nothing. I mean, you’re not the only one who is worried. If dad will fire a bullet by keeping an apple on your head, then he will fire a bullet by keeping grapes on Colton’s head for hiding everything from him.” Caroline said, on which both Colton and Artemis narrowed their eyes, looking at her in disbelief.

“What about you?” Artemis asked.

“What about me? I’m his princess.” Caroline winked, sticking her tongue out.

Except for Raul, no one knew how the table turned one eighty degrees, favoring Artemis all of a sudden. First, he got the deal from Weasley’s, and then the great amount of investment from a France-based tech company that had no link with hospitality industries.

Everyone dug the back story of both the incidences and found out Haysbert and Weasley were families, so maybe that could be the reason one company gave a chance to cover all the past losses while the other saved Artemis from his cousin’s vicious plan.

The cherry on top was that Artemis was going to be announced as the company’s new CEO.

“Nothing is going as per the plan, Alpha,” Lucca said when Santino was playing with a pen between his fingers. “Those shareholders are asking for more money if you wanted them to support you.”

“Ignore them. I don’t think anyone can stop Artemis now.” Santino said, placing the pen on the table.
