“I didn’t know you three are also coming.” Brandon said before adding, “Anyways, why don’t you join us in Limo while Colton, Caro, and her mate can come by cab.”

Caroline wasn’t like this treatment, but never mind, she knew that her dad would be pissed at her and her brother as well, while Artemis assumed this as his first test, so he didn’t say anything on that part. Colton pulled out his phone and called his assistant to get his personal car; traveling by cab wasn’t his thing.

“Caro!! Caro…” Artin called her name when he realized that she wasn’t coming with him. Fighting with Sophia, he wiggled to go near her.

“I think he wants to be with you,” Sophia said, passing him to Caroline and giving them a sorry look.

Once they left, Caroline looked at her brother.

“My car will arrive after an hour because it is in service. I’m going to wait for it at the airport until then. You guys will wait or take a cab?”

“We will take a cab,” Artemis said with a smile.

“Or I can use my spell to reach there.” Caroline offered.

“Naah! Let’s enjoy our first cab ride together in Paris.” Artemis said with a smile encouraging his mate. But Caroline was worried about the thought that what if… what if she would reach home and would get her luggage out of her home?

Or, worst, break all their ties with her?

“Wow, your father’s mansion is so beautiful,” Artemis commented, looking at the Mansion. Observing Caroline inside the cab, the security didn’t stop the cab and let it in.

“Yeah!!” Caroline agreed. “I had said the same when I looked at it for the first time.” She said. Artemis knew that Brandon had got his wolf very late for the second time; that was why, even though he was Alpha by b***d, but he didn’t rule over any Alpha because he had practiced being a hunter for half of his life. And then, when he shifted into a werewolf, the hunter clan couldn’t let him stay in their clan. In the end, he chose to stay like an Urban werewolf, who had nothing to do with other werewolves, whether it was a pack’s wolves or a rouge. There was one simple rule for them that they had to keep their identity between humans.

“I can sense a lot of people inside.”

“Hmm!!” Caroline nodded without paying much attention to him.

“Are you even listening to me?”

“No. I just want dad to scold me but not… not this.” Caroline said truthfully.

“Don’t worry. Your wish will be fulfilled soon.” Artemis said and walked toward the Mansion where there was no one to receive them. The moment Caroline and Artemis stepped into the Mansion, something blasted over their head; before they could have a chance to move away, a lot of flower petals started falling on them, and someone clicked their picture.

Caroline and Artemis finally looked up and found Lee and Tee flying in the air and holding a lot of flowers. Caroline looked at her father then, who was using his magic to keep them up there, and then her eyes landed on Calvin, who was clicking their picture. Well, not just the whole Mansion was decorated, and all the close relatives and family members were there.

“It’s the first time you both walked in; how can I miss this moment,” Calvin said with a wink while Artemis’s jaw dropped seeing him. He looked like Colton except for his way of clothing and the permanent grin on his face.

“Colt….” Artin said, flapping his hand.

“He is my nephew, isn’t he? Put him down. I want to take some solo pictures of him.” Calvin said, getting excited. Within a second, Artin became the main star of the show, who was happily flapping his hand and laughing when flower petals fell on him, and he walked toward Calvin. “Dad… make him fly a little too,” Calvin added, and Brandon did the same. Thankfully Artin wasn’t scared of height, and he just laughed when he started himself in the air.

“I can sense a lot of people inside.”

“Hmm!!” Caroline nodded without paying much attention to him.

After a moment, Calvin hugged Artemis, welcoming him into the family. “I’m sorry, bro!! We didn’t come out to receive you.”

“Actually, we were trying to create hype, you know, just like serious expression before saying happy news?” Tiara added next with a big smile on her face.

Caroline looked at Liara, who was in deep thought because speaking, “Same. Same what they both said.” She muttered in a serious tone.

Soon, Colton walked in, “I hope your surprise has ended. I stayed at the airport like an idiot because of it.” He muttered in a serious tone.

“God, you both are so boring,” Tiara said, shaking her head. She was about to say more when Artin spoke.

“Colt?” He looked in confusion between Calvin and Colton.

“I’m your uncle, Colt.” Calvin lied and picked him in his arms after staying for a minute in his arms. Artin ran back to Colton but again stayed for a while with him, and he returned back to Calvin. While this incident was happening, Caroline introduced Artemis to everyone.

“Umm… Sorry, but I didn’t recognize you.” Caroline said, looking at a young woman who was standing near her Uncle Lucas.

“I’m Natalie, Alpha Calvin’s Beta, and your Uncle Lucas’s daughter. You might have heard about me with the name Nuts.” She introduced herself.

“Oh! I’m so sorry. Of course, I knew you with name.” Caroline said, nodding her head. She knew that the previous Beta of the pack was her Uncle Bruce. Just because his son was just fourteen years old when Calvin became the New Alpha, that was why his Beta became Natalie at that moment, and since then, she has been his Beta.
