My Mate Is An Omega
My Mate Is A Virgin Epilogue

Andromeda POV

"Wait, let me help you with that!" My hot, yet incredibly annoying sexy ginger king rushed to my side.

On the days following Snow Pelt's victory and my rather bizarre rebirth experience, Jasper refused to leave my side. In fact, he never let go of my hand, not even while we slept; he needed to feel the warmth of the blood pumping in my veins at all times.

It was sweet in the beginning. I won't lie, I was enjoying the extra amount of attention my mate was dedicating to me. Because I always had to keep a powerful posture, I wasn't used to being constantly pampered by him, and it made me feel like a carefree princess again. But it got old very quickly.

Jasper would never leave my side. Never. He followed my every step, and if I hadn't started setting boundaries, he would gladly stand by my side in the bathroom while I peed. By now, I was feeling suffocated. I knew he had every right to be concerned and extra careful around me after what he had gone through, but I was a queen, for f**k's sake!

"I'm sure I can get out of bed on my own." I smiled sarcastically.

He didn't take the hint, wrapping his arm around mine. "As your king, it is my duty to make sure you won't trip on your way down and-"

"I only died, Jasper!" I finally lost it. He stiffened, while Genevra facepalmed inside my head. I frowned, only realizing how bad the words sounded after they left my mouth. "Okay, let me rephrase that. Regardless of what happened, there's nothing physically wrong with me anymore. You heard what the doctor said."

"The doctor said you should rest, as he doesn't know how the event might have affected you," he promptly retorted. As my king, I could tell he had been trying to stay strong, but I knew him better than anyone else. He couldn't hide the hint of pain in his eyes.

With a sigh, I took a quick second to calm myself down before grabbing his wrist to firmly pull him closer. His confusion turned into reluctance when I guided his hand towards my throat, forcing him to touch the huge scar - the only apparent mark left by my death experience. At first, his fingers were shaky, barely brushing my skin. Little by little, he let go of his concern. I watched the fear vanish from his blue eyes, now serene as the sea after a storm, while he caressed my skin.

"I know what you saw, Jasper. I know what you felt. And I'm sure it's hard to accept that I'm still here after what you experienced." His gaze quickly moved from my throat to my eyes as he listened to me. "But you saved me. You really did." I brought his hand up to my lips, kissing his knuckles gently before smiling against them. "I'm not afraid of anything, and you shouldn't be either. Not even death can do us part."

His expression softened as he crouched in front of me, resting his head between my knees. "You're right. I still can't believe you're...alive," he struggled to let the words come out, but when he looked up at me, he was smiling. "But I'll try to remember that, if you ever try to leave me again, I can always bring you back."

"I wouldn't dare leave you, my king," I cooed, allowing my fingers to tangle in his auburn hair. "Will you let me get down on my own now?"

"As long as you at least let me watch you closely," he said playfully.

"I guess that's a fair compromise."

After getting out of bed, we showered together and got dressed to meet with the Royal Council at the Forum. In face of Snow Pelt's recent win, there was a lot we needed to discuss. We decided it would be best if I took a few days off before getting back to work, but I was finally ready.

The second we walked through the double doors, all of the eight huntresses rose from their seats, lowering their heads before their queen and king. However, I quickly noticed there was a ninth person in the room. My confusion turned into surprise when my mother approached me. She stood silently in front of me for a good few seconds before she wrapped her arms around me in an embrace, making me freeze.

It should be normal for a mother to hug her child, but I couldn't say I was used to it. Cats didn't normally show affection, especially not members of the royal family. The love that twinkled in her eyes as she pulled away to hold me at arm's length only further shocked me. "Pardon my intrusion, Queen Andromeda. I just needed to see you before meeting," she clarified, yet it still made no sense to me. "How are you feeling?"

I had to blink a few times before I could formulate a response. "I'm...good."

"That's a relief." She smiled. Wait - she what? "Thank you for saving my daughter, King Jasper. We are truly blessed to have you as our king," she said as she turned to my mate, leaving me utterly baffled.

"It is my duty as her king and mate." He nodded at her, flashing me a discreet side gaze. "But even if it weren't, I would give my life to save hers a thousand times." Well, that's easy to say when you can't actually die.

My mom suddenly held my hand with both of hers, pulling me from my thoughts. "I won't take up any more of your time. But if you could come see me later, maybe we could...talk."

"Talk?" I repeated, digesting her words.

She nodded, as if she wasn't acting like a completely different person, before walking out of the Forum. It seems my mate wasn't the only one whose behavior had changed after the whole situation. Jasper squeezed my hand, gesturing for us to take our seats. Shaking my head, I decided to stop overthinking and followed him.

"Thank you for coming, huntresses." As I got comfortable in my chair, they all sat back down. "Adriana, please remind me of our first topic of discussion. I'm afraid my memory is still a bit hazy."

"Of course, my Queen." My right hand lifted a few papers in her hands, but as she continued, I doubted she was actually reading them. "I believe the most urgent matter regards your newest title. Should it be "The Queen Who Was Reborn?"

"Oh! Oh!" Alula jumped excitedly in her seat. "How about The Undead Queen?"

"Doesn't it make her sound like a zombie?" Marina arched an eyebrow.

"I think it's fitting." Mackenzie giggled.

"Thank you, Drina. While some people seem to have had a change in behavior, it's good to

know you're still as immature as ever." I smiled sarcastically at her.

"I'm flattered, my queen," she replied with the same level of seriousness.

I rolled my eyes. "Alright, if we're done playing now, there are urgent matters we must discuss.

Shall we begin?"

"Yes, my queen," they all replied in unison.

TWO YEARS LATER

Jasper POV

"You are getting slower everyday, my King!"

"Funny you should mention that..." I smirked, struggling to catch my breath. "I was about to say the same about you."

Not a lot had changed in the couple of years following my first victory as leader of Snow Pelt. Sure enough, more challengers came after the first one, but as I defeated every single one of them, my confidence only grew. They eventually stopped coming as the rumors about my powers spread, which established a fairly long period of peace. I knew it wouldn't last much longer; soon, the power-hungry would come for my head. But I was ready to beat them all.

One thing had drastically changed over the years though - my friendship with the grumpiest out of all the huntresses.

Even after I masteres my abilities, Kindra and I continued to spar together daily. As the days went by, we started to connect through training. Little by little, she started to let her walls down around me, allowing me to see a different side to her. Surprisingly enough, I become closer with her than with any of the huntresses. In fact, I would go as far as too say I felt just as comfortable with her as I did with Sasha.

When the huntress' fist was inches away from my face, I ducked. Her skill and agility had granted her her name after the Huntress' Trials, but after training with her for so long, I had pretty much memorized every single one of her moves. Using my werewolf speed, I wrapped my arms tightly around her stomach, quickly throwing her onto the ground.

Of course, the fierce woman wouldn't stay down for long. She battled against my weight, but as

she was about to kick me in the balls, I protected my private areas with one hand. It wasn't too menacing until I activated my fire powers. Kindra immediately stopped when she saw the

flames.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I smirked. She grunted annoyedle, reluctantly putting her foot down. Once she did, I finally released her.

She immediately pulled herself back up, getting ready for round two. However, before she could throw her first punch, the Queen walked into the Arena.

"Forgive my interruption." My mate smiled sweetly as we both turned to her, straightening our postures. Kindra lowered her head as she moved towards us. "May I still the king for a

moment?"

"Of course, my Queen." The huntresses bowed curtly. She bumped into my shoulder on her way out, whispering, "I will want a rematch later."

I laughed at her behavior before turning to Andromeda. "Miss me already, my Queen?" I snaked my arms around her waist, leaning in to kiss her.

As our lips were about to touch, she pulled her head back. "Let's not pretend you're not the

one barging into important meetings just to not-so-discreetly squeeze my thigh underneath

the table."

"Fair enough." I chuckled. "What do you need me for?"

She smiled mischievously, not giving me an answer as she turned her back to me, clearly wanting me to follow her. Cats loved a game of chase, and Andromeda was no different.

Once we arrived at our room, I turned to lock the door behind us before trying again. "May I know what you wish to discuss with me now, my Queen?"

When she turned around, I noticed she was holding a small, white stick in her hand. It took me

a while to realize what it was; I only did the moment my eyes landed on the two colored stripes showing in the tiny glass screen.

I was at a loss for words as a wave of emotions rolled over me.

"I guess it won't be long before we replace out what species our heirs will be." Her smile grew brighter. Phoenix jumped in excitement as he heard the words come out of her mouth. "Wanna

bet on it?"
