My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) -
Chapter 383
Chapter 383 Pursued Janet Again
Winifred spoke hastily, she feared of old Mr. Webster would blame Donahueiel
and have a deeper opinion of Quintina that would not save her.
Donahueiel looked at Winifred quietly, without the desire to refute.
The mother was always like this, not thinking that there was anything wrong with herself, or that her innocent young daughter was wrong.
Once there was a problem, others were at fault. Even if Quintina really did
something wrong, it was induced by others in her eyes.
Donahueiel also didn't want to worry about his mother's desperate act of
trying to cover up the truth in front of his grandfather.
He no longer wanted to hide anything from his mother and sister.
Mr. Webster frowned and did not speak.
Seeing that no one answered, Winifred spoke more vigorously, "Take a step back and say, Janet is really pregnant. If the child is gone, it is her blessing! I thought Janet looks like a lonely girl. She hasn't protected her own child, I said
is true!"
Then, she pointed at Donahueiel again, her eyes were reddish, and she looked at him unwillingly and resentfully.
"Donahueiel was also seduced by her, and now he doesn't even save his own sister. What's wrong with you?”
"Stop!"
Bang!
Old Mr. Webster yelled angrily, and the crutch in his hand hit the ground heavily, making a rattling sound.
Winifred turned pale with fright, and muttered, "Mr. Webster..."
"You are so cruel!"
He yelled loudly, but Winifred didn't react. She thought he was talking about Donahueiel, and immediately glared at Donahueiel. "Did you hear that? Even your grandpa said..."
"I mean you!"
Old Mr. Webster pointed at Winifred with his crutches, and the veins on his
forehead were about to pop out of anger.
Winifred took a step back in fright and keep quiet.
Old Mr. Webster wanted to stand up, and Donahueiel walked across the desk to support him.
"You, you can't teach your daughter well, she deserves to suffer now!"
Old Mr. Webster's hands trembled angrily, "Quintina was a good girl when she
was a child, but you taught her to be ungrateful and full of lies later! Even a baby was ruined in her hands, and you can cover it up lightly!"
"In my opinion, it doesn't matter if she is shot! I won't let her come out again.
to harm others!"
Winifred came to sue, not to listen to the teaching. She immediately said dissatisfied, "Mr. Webster, don't be so confused, Quintina is your granddaughter! Janet is..."
"What is it?"
Old Mr. Webster's crutch hit the ground heavily, and his breathing became
heavy with anger, "Janet is the mother of my great-granddaughter, and they have no difference in my heart!"
He looked at Winifred with deep disappointment, "Don't say anything, I won't
save Quintina."
Old Mr. Webster sighed, his eyes were sharp, "She has been pampered by you since she was a child, and she needs to growth!"
Winifred wanted to say something, but she heard old Mr. Webster changes the
subject, "And you!"
Winifred suddenly had a bad feeling.
"You are an elder, but you don't know what's going on, and can't teach a child!
From now on, you live in the backyard, and let the servant come to me for anything!"
His majesty was irresistible, "In the past, you dared Donahueiel not to control
you because he was your son. From now on, I will supervise you personally. Without my order, no one is allowed to let you out!"
Is this going to put her under house arrest?
Winifred was so frightened that she plopped and knelt on the ground, cried, and said, "Mr. Websters, I have been married to the Webster family for many years, and I gave birth to two children. Without merit, there is also hardship. You can't treat me like this!"
Old Mr. Webster sneered, rang the bell on the desk to call the servant, and said
at the same time, "If it weren't for Donahueiel and Quintina, you would still
have the opportunity to negotiate terms with me here?"
After finishing speaking, the door of the study room suddenly opened, and
two tall maids walked in.
Winifred's legs were so weak that she couldn't stand up. She crawled in front
of Donahueiel, grabbed his trousers, and said hoarsely, "Donahueiel! I'm your mother, you can't do this to me for a bitch!"
Donahueiel squatted down, opened Winifred's hands one by one, and said
indifferently, "Mom, you are just living in the backyard to reflect, at least it won't affect your body."
Winifred looked into her son's eyes and was speechless in a daze. She didn't cry again until the maid dragged her towards the door.
But no one cared at all.
Donahueiel's heart was numb from the pain, it seemed to have been hit countless times by electric currents.
He held his grandfather back to the chair and sat opposite the desk with a blank expression on his face.
Old Mr. Webster sighed, "If Jill hadn't saved me, I would die now. I was thinking that no one to take care of her, and you also lacked a confidant by your side. It's perfect for you to be a couple." "But I am wrong."
Donahueiel curled his fingers on his knees, "Grandpa, it's my fault. If I believe her, she wouldn't have suffered so many injuries."
"Of course, it's your fault!" old Mr. Webster glared at him, "It's hard to replace a girl as good as Jill, but you're blind and drove her away!"
"If there is a choice, I would rather have a granddaughter like Jill than an
unworthy descendant like you!"
Old Mr. Webster scolded, and Donahueiel sat on the chair, accepting
everything without saying a word.
Old Mr. Webster scolded dryly, and stopped angrily, "Miscarriage is not good for her health, you should care about her when you have time. It is a bit late,
but this is the minimum courtesy!"
He said with a sad tone, "I'm ashamed to see her. I'm so old, but you should do something for her!"
Donahueiel was bitter in his heart, but he still pulled himself together to
comfort him, "Ok, Grandpa, I've already asked someone to buy the best herbs and supplements. When they're ready, I'll personally send them to her door to
make amends."
Looking at Donahueiel who was sitting on the chair with a vaguely sad
expression, old Mr. Webster couldn't help sighing.
Donahueiel always kept calm at any time, and he has never seen him show
such a clueless look.
"What are you going to do for Jill?"
Thinking of the pain Janet had endured in the Webster family, old Mr. Webster felt sore and sighed in the direction of Donahueiel.
"In the past, I always urged you to bring Jill back and treat her better. But now, she has suffered too many injuries in our family."
Taking off the reading glasses on the bridge of his nose, old Mr. Webster
rubbed his brows.
"People's hearts are full of flesh. I am the elder of the Webster family, but I
feel that I owe Jill..." As he said, old Mr. Webster became cruel.
"If you didn't like her, take out some of the company's shares and transfer them to Jill. It can be regarded as a little compensation from the Webster
family."
Old Mr. Webster told him worriedly, "Remember, you should go in person."
After a long time, he couldn't hear Donahueiel's answer. His eyebrows were raised, thinking that he was about to make a mess again. Then, he heard Donahueiel's deep voice saying slowly. "I want to pursue Janet again."
