My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) -
Chapter 416
Chapter 416 Getting Moved
Coral's face went pale and her head buzzed.
'Janet, are you crazy? I'm not staying here!"
She wasn't going to stay in this dead room with this horrible effigy!
Coral gritted her teeth and climbed up, running away.
But Janet grabbed her long hair and threw her back with so much force that Coral fell to
the ground with a scream.
"On your knees!" Janet shouted.
"I don't want to!" Coral's eyes were red with pain, and she stubbornly got up again.
Janet kicked Coral in the leg socket. The sharp heels of her high heels were like cones in the crook of Coral's legs, and Coral fell to her knees with no resistance.
Janet stepped forward and cupped Coral's chin, forcing her to look into her teary eyes. Her words were cold to the bone.
"There's a pen and paper on the table. Remember to practice a lot. I'll check in the morning. If you can't draw my brother's portrait, you will kneel here until the end of time!" Pressed by the neck, Coral was pushed to the table by Janet.
The door slammed and Janet left.
Coral darted for it, but the sound of a locked door came from outside.
"Janet, let me out! You pervert! Let me out of here!"
Coral sobbed and fell to her knees by the door in disarray.
Suddenly, all the lights in the room went out, leaving only a small, dim nightlight on the desk.
Lawrence stood outside the door with the remote control, squinted at the door, and turned to leave.
The light from the night light was dim, like a bright candle, pulsating and reflecting on the

effigy, as if the person in the photo had come back to life. It was terrifying.
Coral crawled to the ground and hid behind the curtain, wrapped herself in it, squeezed her eyes shut, and held her head as she screamed frantically. "Janet, I hate you!!!"
The following day was a weekend, and Janet didn't wake up until nine in the morning.
After a long period of continuous work, she was ready to enjoy a vacation and relax.
Getting up and opening the window, the fresh morning breeze blew in. Feeling. comfortable, Janet was intoxicated.
After washing up, Janet walked out of the room.
Lawrence was holding a bouquet and was inserting them into the vase one by one. As soon as he saw Janet, he smiled amiably.
"Ms. Longfellow, good morning."
Janet, content from her sleep and glowing, smiled and nodded in response, "Good morning, Lawrence.
"Where's Coral? Is she yelling again?"
Last night Coral's screams almost resounded through the whole villa, and Janet later sent someone to gag her.
Lawrence shook his head and said contemptuously.
"Passed out from fright in the second half of the night. I don't know if she's awake now."
Janet smiled sarcastically, "Go check."
Opening the door to the room, she saw a bulging mass behind the curtain.
Janet walked in and kicked it over without mercy.
"Ouch! Who dares to disturb my sleep?" Coral shouted angrily.
When she rubbed her eyes and saw who was in front of her, Coral suddenly remembered
her situation and hurriedly moved to Janet's feet on her knees.

"Janet, I know I'm wrong, please let me out."
Janet shrugged off Coral's hand in disgust and gave Lawrence a wink.
Lawrence turned around and brought a pen and paper and put it in front of Coral.
Janet sneered, her gaze cold and morose.
"Draw it."
Coral then remembered the task Janet had left last night. But she was nearly scared out
of her wits yesterday. Moment by moment, she felt that the posthumous photo was going to come back to life and strangle her. She didn't dare to look at him more than
once.
Shivering, Coral gripped the pencil and drew on the paper, but the drawing didn't even
have a human form.
"You can't draw it?"
Janet gestured toward someone outside, and the maid came in with a dinner plate with only two pies on it.
"Continue to watch after eating. When you draw it out, you can leave."
"No, no, Janet!!!"
Ignoring Coral's hysterical pleas, the maids stopped her. Janet ignored her screams and
left the room.
Janet had a quick breakfast and asked Tina out to play.
The two met up at a shooting club on the west side of town.
"Jill!"
Janet had just parked her car when Tina, who was standing in front of the club in a
cowboy outfit, shouted and jogged over.
"Long time no see!" Tina enthusiastically jumped into Janet's arms like a golden
retriever.

Janet inertially took a few steps backward before catching Tina, pretending to complain, "You're so cheerful, so it seems your back is not hurting anymore?"
Tina puffed up her chest and said, "I've been fine for a long time. I even went to play tennis the day before yesterday!"
Tina took Janet's arm and dragged her inside the club.
"This club is newly opened. I heard that all the guns inside are from the army, and all of them are 90% new. Doesn't that sound exciting? I've wanted to come and play for a long time..."
The two people walked in laughing and talking, and the guide took them to the dressing room to change clothes,
The shooting training uniform was a tight-fitting style, outlining Janet's exquisite curves
to perfection and gracefulness, making it impossible for people to take their eyes off her.
Janet chatted with Tina through the door panel of the closet.
"I haven't seen Marvin in days, is he with you?"
Tina looked down to adjust her belt. Hearing her words, Tina bristled.
"No. He probably ran off to study somewhere. I haven't seen him in over a week, either."
Janet smiled thoughtlessly. Tina said that she didn't care about him, but she was still counting the number of days they had been apart.
"So don't you miss him?"
Olive poked her head out from behind the cabinet and raised an eyebrow, looking like she was about to throw up.
"Marvin is straight and mean. I'm stupid to miss him, right?"
“Last time he insisted on taking me shopping and wanted to carry my bag for me. But while we were shopping, he was looking at his phone on the table with the shopper, arguing about which stock was the best one recently!"
Janet collapsed on the couch with her stomach in her hands, laughing uncontrollably. With Marvin's sensitivity to numbers and his straight male nature, this was something he
could do.
"Are you laughing? Do you know how speechless I was? I wanted to just drop him and
run away!"
Saying so, Tina couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Janet took a breath and walked with Tina towards the shooting range, deciding to help
Marvin.
"Tina Marvin is not that straightforward. Didn't he even take you to a haunted house last
time?"
Janet ambiguously gently bumped Tina's shoulder.
"Because of that bet, don't you get moved?"
Tina walked to the stage, put on the soundproof earmuffs, and said unconcernedly, "I
just lost to fulfill the bet. Even if we kissed, it was just a touch of two lips, and I didn't feel
anything special."
