I was stunned but quickly answered, "No thanks, Valerie."

She looked a little embarrassed. After a while, she asked, "Arianna, are you still upset with what happened in the past? Look, it's all over. You and Anne are now safe. I have received my punishment too. The Moore Family had rejected me and caused Pedro to stay with me in Ucrebury. Let us forgo the past just like when we first meet each other."

I held back my anger and looked at her. I couldn't help laughing, "Valerie, you can earn back money and reputation. But, will you be able to bring back dead after you've killed them?"

I could see her face turned pale. I asked, "Valerie, can you please go out? I need to feed my daughter."

She wanted to say something but stopped after looking at me. She left the room without saying anything further.

Anne was happily drinking her milk. As I sat on the chair observing the luxuriously decorated room. I could not help wondering.

This is a girl's room at first glance. Sawyer would occasionally stay in Pearis Manor, but it could not be him, let alone Valerie. Therefore, this room probably belonged to Andrea. Anne caught my attention when she stretched her little hands, grabbing anything she could. My heart melted seeing her smiling at me. I hugged and kissed her.

The door opened suddenly, so I quickly pulled down my top. It was Andrea who opened the door. Her face turned sour when she saw me.

"Arianna, why do you like to snatch everything from me? You snatch my man, my family... now, you even want to snatch my room."

I found her words rather baffling. I frowned at her and said, "Andrea, what is yours will remain yours.

I am not interested in your family members or your room. Why should I snatch Hendrix when he is my legal husband?"

Andrea got anxious and her eyes turned red, "Hendrix was being a responsible man. He wouldn't have married you if you hadn't meddled in our relationship."

I laughed at her, "Where were you when he was being responsible to me? Was he in love with you? If he was, why did he refuse to meet you in the first place?" "You.."

Andrea was so angry that she was about to raise her hand to hit me. I stopped her, "Andrea, please control yourself. Look at you now. Have you ever wondered why your parents refused to meet you?"

I did not intend to argue with her as I was holding Anne in my arms. My daughter could get hurt if we fought.

She blocked the door when she saw me leaving, "Arianna, what are you trying to do?"

Her question amused me, "I should be asking you this question. What are you planning to do?"

"Why are you stopping me from leaving? What are you going to do?"

"I can forgo Hendrix. However, you cannot show up in front of my parents again. Otherwise, I'll fight to the death with you."

I felt her request exceptionally strange, "I wish to stay away from you and your parents, so please get out of my way."

Valerie seemed to have no reason to fight with me now. Although she is angry, there is nothing much she can do.

She angrily walked out of her room after I left.

Hendrix came forward when he saw me come out of the room. He took Anne from me and asked, "What's wrong? You don't look well!"
