Noble Husband At the Door -
Chapter 635
Chapter 635
"Godfrey,! haven't spent your money yet. Do you feel sorry for it? They are my family members. It's
difficult for them to come here to play. Do I have to drive them away?" Lydia looked at Godfrey
discontentedly and said.
"You don't understand what I mean. I'm just worried that they won't leave once they get here," Godfrey
said.
"They won't leave? How can they not leave? What are they doing here instead of going home?" Lydia
asked i n confusion.
"You are usually like a smart person. Why can't you understand this matter? Yvonne is now the
chairman. Have you ever thought that they would come to our family and ask Yvonne to arrange work
for them?" Godfrey explained.
His words made Lydia’s expression freeze. She was very clear about the abilities of these relatives.
They could fight for free for eating and drinking, but it was absolutely impossible for them to work, and
they would become maggots when they entered the company.
"I don't think so," Lydia said.
"You don't even have the confidence to speak. Do you need me to say it clearly?" Godfrey said.
Lydia had already thought about tomorrow's trip and
brought them to see the difference between Cloud City and Bin County. However, Godfrey's words
made her lose her mind instantly.
If what Godfrey said was true, she had to think of a way to deal with it.
"Go to sleep. We ll play it by ear. Let's see how you deal with this tomorrow," Godfrey said.
After tossing and turning for a whole night, Lydia was in a daze and did not sleep. At dawn the next
day, she got up.
When she went downstairs to the living room, Lydia found that Jiang Hong was already sitting in the
living room.
"Dad, why don't you sleep a little longer? Is it because the bed is not comfortable?" Lydia asked.
Jiang Hong said with a smile, "How could it be uncomfortable? This is the most comfortable bed I've
ever slept in, and 1 can't bear to part with it."
Lydia forced a smile and said, "You should sleep more i f you are comfortable. You are old now, so you
have to pay attention to rest."
"Come, sit down. Dad has something to tell you," Jiang Hong waved his hand and said.
The ominous premonition in Lydia’s heart burst out in an instant, and she walked to the sofa honestly.
"In the past, I used to complain about you. You had a hard time marrying Godfrey. Now that you've
finally
gotten what you want, Dad is also very happy for you," Jiang Hong said with a face of comfort.
"Dad, this is Yvonne's success. It has nothing to do with Godfrey," Lydia said.
Jiang Hong nodded. He had never thought Godfrey could help in this matter. Since he knew Godfrey
was the least valued person in the Sue family, his attitude toward Godfrey was very bad. He even said
that he would look down on Godfrey even if he was buried in a coffin.
"Indeed, Yivonne is now truly promising. Who would have thought that she would actually become the
most accomplished among the younger generation? However, a single person's true accomplishments
aren't on herself, but rather on her contributions to others." Jiang Hong said.
Lydia took a deep breath and thought, "What should come finally comes. I didn't expect Godfrey to
guess right."
"Dad, if you have anything to say, just say it," Lydia said.
"Dad didn't intend to leave after I came this time. I'm staying in Cloud City to retire. Jiang Bo and
Ferdinand are useless fools. I'm sure I won't be able to count on them. Your mother and I only hope
that we'll be able t o spend the rest of our life in peace, and we can only count on you." Jiang Hong
said.
This made Lydia a little speechless. As a daughter, it was natural for her to support her parents. But as
a son, Jiang Bo and Ferdiand should do these things. She couldn't take the responsibility because she
was living a good life now.
Just as Lydia was about to speak, Jiang Hong seemed t o deliberately grasp the right time and
continued, "But thinking about it carefully, you are already a member o f the Sue family now. Your
mother and I are not very kind to let you support us. So I thought about it. I want them to work in
Yvonne’s company and let them have stable work and income, so that they can support me and your
mother."
This trap caught Lydia off guard. She still had a chance to refute what Jiang Hong had said before, but
Jiang Hong's words directly made Lydia speechless.
He didn't want her to raise them. He just wanted to give Jiang Bo and the others a job. It seemed very
simple. What other reason could she replace to refuse?
"I know you are worried that they will be sloppy at work. You can rest assured that I will warn them."
Jiang Hong deliberately pushed Lydia to a dead end s o that she could not retreat and did not have a
chance t o speak.
"Dad, it's Yvonne who takes care of the company's affairs. I can't make the decision on this matter."
Lydia did not believe such a weak excuse. After all, Yvonne was her daughter. If she insisted on
Yvonne's arrangement, Yvonne would not refuse.
"That's too perfunctory of you. Didn't you say yesterday that you have the final say in this family? You
can't even make a decision on such a small matter?" Jiang Hong's face was full of displeasure. He
continued, "Or are you going to watch me and your mother spend the rest of their lives miserably?"
"Dad, I don't mean that. How can I let you and Mom live miserably? Well, I'll think of a way," Lydia said.
Jiang Hong smiled with satisfaction and said, "I'll go back to my room first to see your mother. It's time
to get up."
