twenty minutes later a knock sounded on my door, slowly I stood upfrom the sofa and opened the door to a tall figure who was built likethe hulk. His pale blue eyes shine down at me with mischief and lust, hisblack hair feel into his eyes in a boyish way, that made me smile at him.I moved over to let him through the house. He goes to sit on the sofathat I just got up from, I close the door and then take a seat on a singlechair across from him.

"Now why would you call me dear little Liliana?" He ask with a knowinglook in his pale eyes an a cheeky grin on his face.

"I need a mate" I tell him truthfully and watch as he leans back into thechair with his arms over the back of the sofa in a relaxed manner.

"Why the sudden change?" he questioned with curiosity written all overhis face, I took a deep breath in before I answered him.

"because he's found me and decided that I should give him and hismate a pup as she is unable to give him one. Apparently because I'mhis first mate it is my job to give his kingdom what they need.” sarcasmwas noticed in my voice as I hiss out the words.

"And why is his mate unable to give him a heir?" I glare at him withannoyance on my face.

"Who knows, but Dontae said they've been to see doctors and she isstill unable to have a child.” I laugh at the thought of that bitch beingunable to carry a baby for the Alpha king.

"why doesn't he ask another whore to give him one.?" he ask as he sitsforward with his elbows on his knees.

"And that's why you want a mate? so he can't get you pregnant?” thistime I nod and watch him slowly stand up.

"Logan I need your help with this, no werewolf can help me." I tell him,Logan runs his hands down his face even when frustrated he looks likea damn sex god.

"And how the hell am I meant to help you Lil?" his pail eyes stare rightat me and damn did my body react to him, slowly I stood up.

"I need you to mark me." that got his attention as he smirked onceagain, slowly I walk towards him.

"hmm, and why don't you just fall pregnant with another's child. Hecan't touch you if your already pregnant.” and strangely enough I hadthought about that, but then we would still come back to him knockingon my door once the baby was born. But if I'm marked then he can't doanything.

"That still doesn't help me Logan, I need to be mated.” I say as I takethe last step towards him before were almost chest to chest.

"You do realise he has guards all around this house." I shrug myshoulders, it doesn't surprise me one bit that Dontae would dosomething like post his watch dogs out side my house.

"Will you help me Logan?" I question as I place my hand on his hardchest and stare up at him waiting for my answer.

"You do know that we have a treaty with the wolfs?" damn I didn'tknow that, I removed my hands and take a step back from him.

"I'm sorry Lil but I cant help you, trust me I really want to, but I wouldbe breaking a treaty between wolves and vampires.” drop my head andstare at the floor, I didn't want him to break the treaty for my selfishwants.

"I understand, I'll work something out." I tell him and make my way tomy chair. strong arms wrap around my waist.

"If it was just a roll in the hay that you needed then I would comply.” hebites my shoulder playfully and I slap his arm that's still around mywaist.

"And if you could satisfy then I would take you up on it." my wordsshock him and I'm able to pull away and laugh at his shocked face."that's a low blow Lil,” He grumbles, I laugh at him again and grinwidely at him

"Not my fault your ex's where never satisfied, maybe you should trysomething new." his face changed to mortification and this time I burstout laughing with my hands on my knees bent over.

"And maybe you should clam your mate back.” I shot up and glared athim, he was dead serious on this matter.

"And how do you say I do that? if you haven't noticed Chrissy has herhooks in him good.” I grumble as I remember watching her dry humphim in his office the one day I walked in to talk to him, that bitch hadthe nerve to sit there and smirk at me.

"If she is his second mate then she would be able to fall pregnantwithout a hassle and you wouldn't." my mouth falls open in shock, howdid he know that? as if reading my mind.

"every king has two mates, normally we don't replace our second untilsomething happens to our first. But either way once we have a secondmate, the first has no connection to us and is unable to conceive asonly the second mate can do that.” I was completely shocked andconfused, I still had my second mark from Dontae but I thought thatwas normal even after he was mated to another.

"And what makes you think he would want me over her?" I questionhim, I get to my feet and start pacing around my lounge room.

did I really want to be back with him? was it even worth it? all thesequestion where floating around in my head, even my wolf was quiet onthe matter.

"one because you two have a very strong bond, two because he hasabout ten people keeping watch over your house as we speak andthree because of Xaiden."” I growl out at him when he mentions my son."Xaiden will not be dragged into this shit.” I hiss at him.

"Don't you think he's going to ask about his father one day.” Logan asksoftly, knowing to well that my wolf will take over if she thinks there's athreat to her pup.

"I've already had that talk with him." it hurt having to explain to a fiveyear old why his daddy was no longer in our lives.

"Owe and how did that go?" I turn my back to him and stare out thewindow.

"I told him that his daddy lives very far away and has to take care of lotsof wolves. One day when he's not so busy he would come back andtake care of him." It was the only thing I could think of that would makemy son feel less loved or wanted by a man who threw us both away likerubbish.

"So technically you lied to him." I shake my head and keep staring outthe window, I see a young man standing near a tree keeping watchover the house and talking through his two way communicator.

"How would you feel if I told you that your daddy slept with yourmummy out of anger and created you but then tossed your motheraway so he could have another women.” no reply was heard after I saidthis. I new he understood what I meant, there was no way I could tellthe complete truth to my son.

"I'm sorry Lilliana, you know your a great mum.” I laugh at that, as asmall tear crawls down my cheek.

"I managed on my own, I love my son and that's all that matters.” Iknow my boy loves me and if truth be told he's the only man I knowwho won't throw me away when he gets older.

“for a single mum you've done well, he's a great kid. you should beproud of him.” and I was very proud of the way my son has turned out."I am" is my only reply.

"well I must be off now as I have an appointment soon. Lil rememberwhat I said okay.” Logan kisses my head and the leaves my house, Iwatch him through the window as he walks over to his grey Ferrari andclimbs in. He gives me a quick wave then drives off.
