Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife By Lil’ Bamboo Chapter 382
Chapter 382
“From our investigation, after Ms. Lewis’s father removed her mother’s urn from its original location, he placed it here and paid three months‘ rent in advance. After a brief visit on the first day, he never returned again.”
Connor continued, “We’ve asked around, but he hasn’t reached out to any cemetery in particular, nor has he initiated any plans to purchase a new grave plot.”
Serenity’s eyes remained firmly planted on the um.
So… he never really planned to relocate her grave all this time? Everything he did until this point was just to get her to fork out the money.
It was likely that after her use was expended, he would simply throw the urn back at her.
What a terrible father, Well, at least she wouldn’t have to worry about his funeral expenses in the future.
Serenity wondered how her mother would feel if she knew how she was being treated by a man that she once loved.
Even after her death, he still had the audacity to use her. Serenity found the situation as sad as it was absurd. Her nose wrinkled, but no tears came. Perhaps she had cried too much just now that her tears had already run dry.
“Thank you,” said Serenity to Jackson. If not for him, she would never have found her mother’s ashes.
“You can save your thanks for later.” Jackson then turned to Connor and asked, “Is everything ready?”
“Yes sir,” replied Connor.
Jackson turned back to her and said, “Take your mother’s ashes with you. The most important thing now is to allow her soul
to rest.
Taken aback by his statement, she stared at him dumbfoundedly.
“Let’s go. I’ve made the necessary arrangements,” he said.
It was a simple sentence, but it did wonders in calming her restless heart. It felt as if she didn’t have to worry as long as he was here.
Serenity followed Jackson out of the rented place and got in his car. By the time they came to a stop, they were outside a relatively famous cemetery in Solaria.
It was well–known because of its convenient location and well–maintained facilities. Due to this, one wouldn’t be able to buy a grave plot even if they could pay for it.
Jackson brought Serenity to one of the empty plots, where several men wearing overalls stood waiting for them. They seemed to be workers employed by the cemetery.
She glanced down at the gravestone and found her mother’s name carved into its surface. All this had been prepared before their arrival
Serenity would never have been capable of doing this on her own, if not for Jackson’s help.
“I thought this was a good place to bury your mother. If you’re not satisfied, we can pick another location,” said Jackson
