Once Rejected, Thrice Accepted
Chapter 102

I've had a couple nightmares since staying with this pack and the safest I have felt during them is in the back corner of my closet with the guys either protecting the door or with me in the corner. There was enough items in there I could surround myself with blankets, pillows, and piles of clothes if need be to keep me safe and warm. When the doctors finally released me this was the first place I went. It was already set up how I liked it and when I looked back at the guys Leo nodded. He always did know how I like things set up. Duncan went to make me some dinner Lucas set guard at the door. Leo waved as he left to deal with a few things with the pack.

I knew there was no reason for a guard at the door there was nothing out there that was actually going to get me right now that didn't change my fear reaction. When I close my eyes even just for the briefest of moments I could feel those walls made of absolutely nothing closing in on me.

The guys all wanted to hug me and love on me but every time they did I could feel Dennis's hands on me and it would send me into a spiral. I know that it was just the dream world and that it wasn't real but he touched me. He had done it before but I guess it didn't register. Now all I could think about is how he would've dream raped me if that was even a thing. My fake mother would've stood by and let it happen because she would've already got her enjoyment of whipping me until I didn't have barely any blood left. I knew how I was acting irrational including brattiness and the fear of not them but anyone. My dad was still here and he had tried to come back with us but thad a small freak out in the hospital. How embarrassing was it for the Luna who was still proving herself to her pack to have a breakdown like that? He was now sitting with Britt who still recovering but doing great. I didn't have any marks left on me so physically I healed by the time in making it back to the hospital which was amazing because I ran into several big branches. Betty and Britt weren't as lucky.

They finally told me about Betty and she was worse off than my sister but it wasn't because she was attacked. She freaked out after she was taken and as the spell blinded men were taking her into the woods she started kicking and scratching and freaking out which cause her to get hurt more as she ran her head into the trees and branches and they had to fight hold onto your so they ended up hurting her. All of them had been commanded by an alpha strong enough to break the spell and were feeling really crappy. It wasn't their fault and I hope that one day they can understand that.

'Gemma, do you think we'll ever see Sabine again?' Moonlight asked lounging around in my head.

I hope not. No, she was doing what she thought was right but the way she went about it was half wrong. The lie detector test was very informing and it didn't hurt anyone except maybe their pride. laughed at the memory of one of the guys confessing to like wearing girls undres.

I know and it sucks that everyone got hurt but I feel like we realized our potential with everything and after the few injuries we had healed we were reminded that we were one of the fastest healing wolves ever. It's just been hard to heal so fast with just everything ends getting better after malnutrition and such. Moonlight shrugged like it was nothing that we both knew different.

"Baby doll, I love you and I just want you to feel better." Lucas said keeping his eyes forward from his position at the door. "What do you think about Chinese food?"

"It's late and is one of the only places open is an?" I teased already feeling almost back to normal. "And you know that I love Chinese, but I want a bite of anything and everything with it. And I thought Duncan was making me some food?"

Lucas laughed barely containing himself. "Duncan tried to make us dinner but this new recipe that he wanted to do was a bit more sophisticated than he could handle. Don't you smell something burning?"

I was focusing on my feelings and replaceing ways to help them feel better. I sniffed the air instantly wishing I hadn't.

It was a mix of burnt cheese and overcooked broccoli. Poor Duncan down there trying to make me something special when all I needed him to do was be him.

"Chinese sounds great. I appreciate that you are here and are helpful. If you could order the food and send Duncan up that would be great." I smiled at him doing my best to show my face above my pile. "I think in just a little bit I'll be able to come out of here and then we can all cuddle in the big bed. But if you try to Dutch oven me again I'm on knock you right in your junk."

Lucas just laughed and said he didn't make any promises before heading out. Now if I could just prove to the pack that I knew everyone and that we were going to win this war so that we can live in peace again. I also had to convince myself the same things. I could totally do this.

We will get over this and we will be much stronger because of it now let's get Duncan in here with us. I bet I would feel even safer with his big strong arms around me and his big fat-Moonlight groaned in delight.

'Moonlight! Stop that. Geez! I rolled my eyes at her horny self.

You know you will agree! She pushed a memory of him going down on us.

I nodded as my reply because Duncan had arrived.

"Duncan, please join me! I need a cuddle buddy and you are the perfect fit." I winked at him as he crawled his tall a*s into my space.

"I am here to please you." He smacked my butt moving me foreward before becoming my big spoon.

I had lots of plans but not until tomorrow. Instead I just fell asleep in his arms.
