Once Rejected, Thrice Accepted -
Chapter 59
"Okay so the plan is because some kind of distraction so we can go in and save Lindy and her sister while causing a little destruction of our own before getting out of Dodge to go take some revenge on a pack for cherry and bringing them into the fold so we have another packed help us out. It seems doable." I state smiling at the large group gathered in the conference room. "But what kind of distraction would get either some of the warriors to leave the pack or get them to one side of their pack or there's a light duty on the guarding of the prisoners? It can't be anything from me or Olivia because they would sniff that crap right out. My fake Mommy dearest knows I want to rip her throat out."
"I may have an idea." Tiberius raised his shackled hand smiling. He shouldn't be in those when he was just protecting his own in the same manner my mates would, but the guys felt safer. "It's about time for a check in so if we figure out some juicy fake info to send back they would buy it and use it immediately."
"But the other spies would need to report the same thing or it would be a waste." Jackson said from the video chat we had with him, King Charles, and Gramps.
"That's very true." Charles said sounding deep in thought. "But I happen to know a prisoner that they really want back. We could let something drop about him being moved or escaping but he won't actually be moved from his spot."
"And don't worry about the other spies within the pack. I have a plan for them." Draco said happily, maybe a bit too happy. "The omegas are already taken care of and will be visiting them later. The others I've laid a bit of a trap for later today".
'I think I like evil Draco!' Moonlight snickered. 'Same, girl. Same.'
Gazing around the room and measured everyone's reactions. We brought in a few of our lead warriors, the other trainers, and anyone that held a bit of authority that we have some kind of trust in. We took their phones from them and let them know that I wolves would be paying attention for any signs of mind linking. The guys had asked them very pointed questions and I kept an eye out for a lie in their answers. So far so good. We needed these people to be trustworthy and to be there for the pack. Who knows what's going to happen when we save Lindy and take out that other alpha.
'Hey!' Olivia linked softly. 'Worst case scenario I could reach out to my mate. I know that he probably knows I took Lindy's ear and escaped. They probably think I'm going to be coming back for her and I know what he would do but I could play into what they think would happen. I could be what distracts them to one side of the pack. I would mention your pack knowing everything that I've overheard and everything my so-called may have shared with me.'
'No, I can't let you do that.' I shouted back in our link. 'There's no way I could let you go back to that pack and even give them a chance to hurt you or kill you. The only time you're going back anywhere near that pack is if they're attacking here or you're rejecting that piece of s*** mate.
'If something happened to me it would be worth it knowing I got to help you after all the mistakes I made' Olivia confessed. 'I know your mates don't trust me and they're right not to because I've been a traitor to you since I found Shane. My friendship should have meant more than choosing to be an obedient mate but I was scared. I'm no longer scared Gemma. I need to be able to be the backup plan.
The guys were speaking with everyone about a few of our details of the old pack and the ways in. It was a test. The warriors we had watching the place would know if they suddenly changed how they patrolled or blocking in one of the ways through the wall. Duncan had his eyes on me so I smiled and nodded while keeping my mind opinion to Olivia's link.
'Fine, you can be the backup plan but no if any of your blood gets spilled, I'm going to raise hell and that pack won't know what hit them.' I glared at her from across the room.
She had been adamant about standing in the back, so the focus wasn't on her. We both knew it wasn't just because of that but because of the glares she was getting from the pack. It seems that we needed to have a pack meeting about forgiveness and trusting their leaders. Loyalty and love made them act out this way so I completely understood it. I just wasn't okay with it.
"Anything to add, Gemma?" Jackson asked after he stopped his speech on traitors and what happened to them. He made sure they also knew that if they came to us for help, we would never turn our back on them.
I faced the group of them with perched lips ready to get this over with. Not wanting them to think the worst of me or that I just wanted to make them feel like shit. The words didn't want to come but this conversation needed done. "Listen, all of you have my respect and loyalty even if I wasn't the Luna." I took a breath to get my mind right. "But ever since I made it clear Olivia wasn't a traitor and that Tiberius only did what he did for his mate it seems you all have decided not to care. I am a living lie detector and my skills are only getting better day by day. I told you they were speaking the truth. I even mentioned their reasons behind everything and that they were still in a bit of trouble, but nothing was done to hurt this pack willingly. Instead of respecting that, you have made one of my best friends, a guest of the pack, and the sole reason we know when they plan to attack feel like an intruder and even scared for the life a few times with your growls and glares. That will stop. You will make sure anyone that follows you or acts out in any way will stop it. If they do something again to put any of you in danger by CHOICE, we will handle it. Tiberius is still in the dungeons but he is helping daily with what he knows and what he has shared. He has given us everything he has so we can look over it again and again. Olivia wants to be apart of this pack and wants to show her loyalty. Start acting like a team and trust in your leaders."
All their heads bowed. We could feel how sorry they were. Olivia's face was red with embarrassment. Whoops.
"Now how about we put together a pack bbq tonight? Who knows how to make some mean sauce?" I smiled when they all started shouting in excitement. 'Good job, my Luna. Leo Linked.
