Once Rejected, Thrice Accepted -
Chapter 63
The boys who had guarded the bathroom left with their parents, both with matching scowls on their faces. Their parents were pissed they were involved with those hussies even before they pulled their shit with me. We didn't go too hard on them with the parents having enough of a punishment for them. We have them doing kitchen rotation instead of warrior rotation which made them freak out. Something about not being a girl was mentioned so their mom added on how much girl stuff they would be doing when they got home. 'Knock, Knock. Can we come in?' Draco linked. I could feel him just outside the door with a few others.
"Come in, you lot." I shouted cutting off Lucas's perverted comment about my being wet and in their clothes.
Draco walked in with Allie, Cass, and Cherry. Britt was still in the shower having a small meltdown with female guards ready for anything. They each took a seat around the room looking a bit glum. That's never good.
"How's your sister doing? I hate that she had to go through all of that." Allie asked rubbing her stomach unknowingly. She seemed to be doing that more and more. "Our pack is suppose to be safe and loyal but instead we are replaceing all the holes and dirty little secrets."
"Shaken but she is strong." Giving a small smile I moved on to a new subject. "How far away are you from birth?"
"Within two weeks. The time has gone by so fast." She radiated happiness from within her. "I am so ready to hold this boy and give them all sorts of lovins."
"Same but we want you both to come out of this healthy and strong so he needs to cook just a bit longer." Draco said bringing her hand to his lips and kissing it.
"You two are so adorable." Cherry said interrupting their love fest. "How about we talk business before the free p**n?"
"Stuff it, Cherry. You are just wanting an invitation to join us." Allie winked at her laughing and pulled her hand back from Draco.
"Not join, replace Draco." Cherry blew her a kiss.
"Ok, enough flirting." Draco rolled his eyes and faced us from our seats behind the two side by side desks. "The three warriors aren't traitors to the pack but they are shitty people who enjoy seeing others in pain so I went ahead and had them picked up while a few warriors searched their houses. They have hurt a few of the females here and told them if they said anything they would kill their families."
"Where do you have them?" Leo asked looking pissed that something like that would be happening in the pack. "Have you figured out what girls they hurt?"
"The guys in the dungeons having fun time with a few of our trainers who had some new technique they wanted to try out." Draco shrugged like it was nothing new. "The girls are being seen in the clinic and getting set up with seeing the therapist."
'This pack is falling apart. Maybe it is my fault?' I cried out to Moonlight while keeping my face blank like I was still processing everything. 'The pack needs a strong Luna and here I am letting all of these shitty things happen under my watch. What do we do?' 'We get stronger in every way. We put ourselves out there for the pack and show that we are here to stay, to protect, and to love!' Moonlight answered from her spot on the floor of our mind curled up in a ball. 'All of this started before we got here but it isn't anyone's fault. This is a newish pack and this is just how things go as they are getting their feet wet with how to run things!
Deal. Now lets get these guys back on track with the traitors and our plan to save Lindy! She agreed smiling before sleeping. My stress had been getting to her and making it hard for her to sleep.
"And what about the dead girl's parents?" I asked interrupting their talk about what to do with the warriors and what methods to use to teach them a lesson. "Are they traitors and if so what is the next step?"
"Someone is in a hurry for answers." Cass teased but stopped when noticing my serious face. "They are traitors but it seems not completely knowingly. From their conversation that was recorded they thought they were talking to another pack who wanted to help our failing pack. It seems Janet's parents have strung a web of lies convincing them of the Alpha's failures even before you got here."
"And the next steps is to search their houses, replace how the communicate, what they have shared, and so on. They are separated and put into different dungeons same with the others." Draco stated pulling some paper out of his pocket."
"Order the searches and send for Tiberius and Olivia so we can have a meeting." I ordered Cass before continuing. "It's time we went in for Lindy. Now that they have the information about a fake escape and we have anyone who could spill the truth put up we need to head out."
"They are not going with us." Leo stood up and stretched. "But you are correct. Draco grab a few trusted warriors. This is going to be a stealth operation so we don't need many of us."
"They are. Olivia can help me get in and Tiberius will be able to sniff out his mate or at least tell us if she is still alive. I will go get ready." I left ignoring their rebuttals. I knew I needed them.
