Poetry
Rose

I hope you go before I do, so I can lay roses on your grave

I'll sing to you, pray with love, watch over you by the day

My love for you is limitless, I want to watch you soar

Like a rose you bloom, with beautiful roots, your life means so much more

When you weep and cry, fear in your eyes, you replace yourself to blame

I'll wipe your tears, your voice I'll hear, and take away your pain

When your petals drop, and your glow stops, so sudden is too soon

Your suddenly, more precious to me, like a rose you surely bloom...

...If your time is before mine, I want to be your strength within

No tears, no suffering, no mournful cries, I'm with you until the end

Death can be a burden for some, I pray mine isn't for you

The stress and ache that comes with it, I'd rather go through...

I'll love you here, I'll love you now, and even in the sky

I'll smell your roses everyday, as over me you fly...

Until that day, I'll keep you safe, in my arms I'll hold you close

You're more to me than anything, because darling you're my rose
