Pyre Academy
Welcome to Pyre

"While were here, we will permit you all to study at this Academy" Rychard explained as he walked the students from Wynd Academy to their dorm rooms. "Aside from Sebastien of course, until we've finished running out checks on him, he will be staying in the cells" he added.

Sebastien rolled his eyes, Lumina wished she could just snap his neck right then and there, but like her sister had, she needed to be patient, and wait for the right time to break character.

"Back to school again, ey?" Dex chuckled.

"Yes, it will be hard for you all to settle back into this life I imagine, but please do your best. Classes will resume next week" Rychard smiled, as they reached the dorms and Rychard directed them all to their rooms.

"One more thing" Roisin said, speaking up.

"What is it, Ms. Luna?" Rychard asked.

"Why are we here?" Roisin asked.

"Hmm, I will explain more when the time permits, for now, focus on your studies." Rychard explained, before turning and leaving, with Sebastien in tow.

"He's hiding something" Ariel said.

"Yeah..." Ashe sighed.

"As long as we have each others backs, we should be fine" Dex smiled, Roisin nodded in agreement, the four of them headed into Roisin's room to relax.

Abyssia was stood in the war room of the Imperial Academy, a large holographic map of the world was sat in the centre. Araneia was stood beside the map gazing down at Pyre.

"I don't like this, since the fall of the Mystic Academy, Lumina has fallen silent" Abyssia sighed deeply.

"What do you think she is planning?" Araneia asked.

Abyssia looked down at Demi on the map.

"Perhaps she plans to attack Demi next, and is waiting for me to slip up" Abyssia theorized.

"Hmm, she could likely take the city in seconds, she has no reason to wait" Araneia replied.

Abyssia nodded, then gazed over at Pyre.

"Did Sebastien arrive in Pyre yet?" Araneia asked.

"Our eyes in Pyre confirmed so, though it seems they are treating him as a possible spy for Lumina" Abyssia replied.

"To be expected, everyone thought all the final year students from Wynd perished in the attack on Terrana" Araneia nodded. "Not to worry though, we can make him appear legitimate for them" she added.

"Make it so" Abyssia smiled, she stood up straight and sighed. "I'm going back to the Throne Room, keep me informed on further developments" Abyssia said as she made her way out of the War Room, Araneia nodded and resumed her duties.

"I spy, with my little eye, something beginning with B" Atlas said.

"B..." Amanda pondered, as she looked around the room. "Bars?" She asked.

"Nope" Atlas replied.

"Basement?"

"Nope."

"Hmmm, B... balcony?"

"Balcony? Where is there a balcony?" Atlas laughed.

"Up above, when we came in" Amanda said, frustrated.

"Well, I can't see it from here so, nope" Atlas replied.

"Bastard?" Amanda asked.

"Close" Atlas chuckled.

"You son of a bitch!" Amanda yelled, realizing what Atlas's answer was.

"You got it!" Atlas burst out laughing. Amanda growled in anger, which made Atlas laugh harder. Amanda had a slight smile on her face.

"Anyway, what do you reckon is going on out there?" Amanda asked.

"I'm not sure, but I hope Roisin arrived in Pyre safely" Atlas sighed.

Amanda nodded.

"As do I, hopefully with Ariel by her side" She added.

"Yeah, I hope so too" Atlas said, looking down at the mossy cobblestone floor.

The city of Mystallia now resembled Terrana, having turned into a desert of light dust. A figure stepped through the dunes of dust until they reached what was left of the Mystic Academy. When they arrived in the shell of a building, they made their way to the Mystic Temple entryway.

The figure descended a long spiral staircase, sweeping cobwebs out of the way as they did. When they reached the bottom, several huge spiders charged at them, but in one sweeping blow, the spiders were dealt with.

The real Sebastien was sat watching in his cell.

"Who are you?" He asked.

The figure took their hood down, it was Syl.

"Syl?!" Sebastien gasped.

"Figured you could use some help" Syl smiled as he approached the cell.

"How did you know I was here?" Sebastien asked.

"Truthfully? I didn't, I came to investigate what remained of the temple." Syl smiled

"Lucky me" Sebastien smiled.

"Maybe" Syl sighed.

"Maybe?" Sebastien asked.

"I will set you free, if you cast off your allegiance to Abyssia, or Andre, or whatever" Syl stated.

Sebastien sighed, and pondered what Syl asked of him, Andre had saved him, but ever since he switched to Abyssia, he had noticed a change in how he behaved, he became more Imperial and seemed to take small pleasures in acts of lesser evil.

"Fine" Sebastien sighed. Syl nodded and opened the cage.

"Oh, one more thing" Syl said, as the cage door swung open.

"Hmm?" Sebastien asked.

"I'm calling you Seb from now on" Syl smirked.

"Uh... okay?" Seb shrugged.

"Syl and Seb has a better ring to it, don't you think?" Syl laughed.

"I guess so?" Seb chuckled.

"We do have a problem" Syl sighed. "It's pure light up there, for a normal person like you, it'll kill you."

"I'm not a normal person, Andre swapped my aether for dark aether, while I was at Abysial, I'll be fine" Seb stated. Syl nodded and the two ascended the long spiral staircase and headed out into the pure white desert.
