It'sbecause you are the only person in the world who can help her remove the curse, the cursepreventing her from being a real spiritual race.” The way Alyssa behaved around Rocky was not likethe cruel and proud princess that Marcia knew so well. Marcia guessed why Alyssa was acting soweird when she learned how Rocky was received in the Timber Deity Empire.

"But I don't understand. Why are you also looking for me?" Rocky asked. He couldn't be the oneMarcia was looking for, even if he was indeed the one Alyssa needed.

"That's an easy question to answer. Since you can remove her curse, then you can do the same tomy curse. Rocky then realized why Alyssa asked him to give up the throne after defeating Alston. "Take good care of Lena for me please. We both know Alston has coveted her for a long time. I'mworried for her, so please keep him away from her. I know that things are harder now that Alston istaking charge of the empire. I'm afraid he will certainly try his best to hurt her," Rocky said with afrown, his eyes turning ice cold.

"I will certainly do that, even if you didn't ask. I will never let him lay a finger on Lena. I will teachhim a hard lesson myself if he tries to do anything to her,” Marcia snapped. She would definitelymake Alston pay if he did something wrong to Lena.

"I'll leave her to you then. Please protect her. Alas, I think I should go now! I can finally have anordinary life for myself,” Rocky joked lightly. As a matter of fact, the waiting period would make himsurely suffer. First, he wouldn't be able to go to Alston for revenge. Second, it wouldn't be a goodtime for him to see Lena to sort out the matters of his heart.

"In case you need anything, do let me know," Marcia added sincerely before leaving.

Rocky nodded and bid farewell to Marcia with a slight bow.

Marcia watched Rocky as he went away. A gentle smile flashed across her face. She said to herselflightly, "I'm really happy to see you alive. You don't know how scared I was when I went to theTimber Deity Empire to see you. I was worried that Alyssa was just lying. But fortunately, it is true! Ifinally saw you! You are alive again!"
