His statement shocked Moira and the other women a little. They could tell that Rocky was not justsaying it casually. In fact, from the way he was talking, it looked like he already had everythingplanned out and was about to carry it out.

"Basil, no matter what you do, we will support you. But you must remember that if we move forwardwith this, you will most likely become the target of all spiritual race clans out there. Are you sure youwant to do this?" Marcia was a little worried. If the spiritual race found out what Rocky was planning,it would land him in a rather precarious situation.

He knew that several clans were already annoyed athim and targeting him, but they hadn't done anything to him till now because they had bigger fishto fry. Moreover, Rocky had already thwarted the nefarious plans of the Heavenly Demon Clan againand again. He knew that when the time came, the Heavenly Demon Clan would never let him go.This gave him no option other than to be more ruthless. He needed to change the world completelyand not worry about anything, especially since he was in trouble all the time anyway.

"Shouldn't you talk to your father about this first?" Marcia asked.

"Yes. I plan on going back to the Imperial City and discussing this with him, because this plan needsthe support of the entire Holy Dragon Empire!” Rocky affirmed.

"All right, I am coming with you." Marcia nodded.

The next day, the two of them went to the Imperial City, while Isis and the others stayed in theCrimson City.

Once they had reached their destination, they went straight to the Palace City to meet the emperor.Word around town was that although the emperor looked energetic, his health was getting worseand worse every day. Therefore, he would spend a part of his day dealing with politics, and spendthe rest of it in his own imperial chamber, recuperating.

"Basil..." The emperor was delighted to see Rocky in his chamber. He hadn't seen the latter for along time and his happiness was evident from how ruddy his face turned.

Lena was in the palace at that moment as well. As soon as she heard that Rocky had come back, sherushed towards the chamber at once.

Since the emperor's health was degrading, Lena now had to help him deal with government affairsas the Witch of the Holy Dragon Empire. This had kept her extremely busy, and she had found not asingle opportunity to visit Rocky in the Crimson City.

Rocky didn't waste any time with pleasantries and came straight to the point. The emperor and Lenawere also surprised to hear his proposal. Obviously, they hadn't expected the man to come up withsuch a bold idea.

"Basil, are you sure you want to do this?" the emperor asked.

"I think it's imperative that we do! Otherwise, the Holy Dragon Empire is going to feel the pains ofwar very soon," Rocky replied seriously.

"This plan can have far-reaching consequences, and requires a lot of pondering. At the very least,we need to gather the Three Great Generals and a few other high-level officials to discuss this..." theemperor said after thinking for a while.

"I have already sent messages to Chief Bryant and my father-in-law. They should be back here in afew days.” Before leaving the Crimson City, Rocky had dispatched messengers towards Bryant andLance, asking them to come back to the Imperial City to discuss something important.

"Alright then, we'll talk about it when they arrive. It's rare for you to come back though, so youshould stay a few more days," the emperor told Rocky in a benevolent tone.

Rocky nodded.

"By the way, General Marcia, you are here just in time. A few days ago, I heard tell of some cluesabout the colored pearl. I was going to send someone to the Crimson City to replace you but sinceyou're here already...” The emperor turned towards Marcia suddenly.

"Some clues about the colored pearl?" Marcia asked seriously.

"Father, what is the colored pearl?" Rocky was confused.

"General Marcia, haven't you told Basil anything about the holy treasure of the Dragon MasterClan?" The emperor saw that Rocky didn't seem to know anything about the colored pearl. Heturned towards Marcia and asked with a frown.

"The holy treasure of the Dragon Master Clan?" Rocky murmured. He recalled that the Witch of theHoly Dragon Empire, whom he had met in the Myriad Spirit Tomb had mentioned such a thing.Furthermore, he had found a mysterious fragment of the same in the treasure box left behind bythe Witch.

"Well, I thought that there was no chance of replaceing it, and I also couldn't do so without YourMajesty's explicit permission. That is the reason I keep quiet.” Marcia shook her head.

"Oh, it's time for him to know about it then. Besides, I'm going to leave the colored pearls we'vealready collected to Basil anyway, so..." the emperor replied thoughtfully. It looked like he thoughthe was going to die soon, so he wanted to tell Rocky something important.

"What exactly is this holy treasure of the Dragon Master Clan?" Rocky asked again. Judging by theserious look on the emperor's face, he could tell that whatever it was, the matter was by no meanssimple!

"Actually, the story is quite long. I'll give you a quick summary. You see, in the beginning, the HolyDragon Empire had two holy treasures. One of them was the Holy Dragon Bead, which, by the way,is the same bead you have fused with. The other one, is a secret treasure that few know about. Itwas actually a holy treasure of the Dragon Master Clan, and it was borrowed by the Holy DragonEmpire to open up its territory. Legend has it that the treasure was a legacy of the first patriarch ofthe clan, and was known to be extremely powerful. The Witches of the previous generations wouldhand it down and swear to protect it. However, about a hundred years ago, it was lost in anunfortunate accident. Sometime later, word emerged that it wasn't lost, but was actually hidden bythe last Witch for some unknown reasons. Unfortunately, before she could be questioned or evencaptured, the Witch disappeared, and the secret of the treasure was lost forever." The emperorbegan recounting the tale of the holy treasure’s origin.

"The legacy of the first patriarch of the Dragon Master Clan? What happened later?" Rocky asked,raising his eyebrows.

"It's a very long story. The short version is that several years later, the Witch suddenly brought backthe holy treasure and sealed it in a forbidden area of the royals. She died soon after. But before sheleft the world, she told us a small clue about the whereabouts of the treasure. She said that if wewanted to replace it, we needed to replace all the colored pearls that she had hidden in nine treasureboxes. She also gave us a few clues about these nine treasure boxes,” the emperor continued."Hang on. So the Witch who hid the holy treasure and the one who brought it back are the sameperson?” The truth was, Rocky already knew the rest of the story. What was more, the emperor's taleproved to him that the Witch of the Holy Dragon Empire whom he had seen in the Myriad SpiritTomb was the same person as the one who had possessed the spirit of Lena. The latter event hadtaken place when they went to the royal forbidden area to take out the spiritual treasure of theDragon Master Clan. This also implied one more thing. The Witch who had possessed Lena had toldhim something about the mystery of the spiritual race and the Divine Spiritual Source. If all thesestories about the holy treasure were true, then so should be the stories that this Witch had toldthem!
