Most of the people were surprised that Rocky would show up out of the blue. But instead of hisusual aura of being the savior of the day, he appeared to be an evil monster that hated by most ofthe people present.

His appearance prompted an uproar from the crowd around him. Not long after, they pointed theirfingers at Rocky and started to exchange their thoughts with each other about how much he hadchanged.

But Rocky just ignored the whispers around him. He focused his eyes on the figure in the red robeand said distantly, "Alston, you don't have to hide anymore. You're just waiting for me, aren't you?""Ha ha..." The figure in red suddenly burst into loud laughter upon hearing Rocky's words. He tookoff the hood that covered his face, instantly revealing his true identity in front of everyone present.Contrary to what people were expecting, his face was not from a spiritual race being but rather fromjust a normal human.

Seeing this, the crowd boiled up right away. At that moment, everyone's jaws were agape and hadtheir eyes wide open as they could not replace the right words to express their astonishment.

Every single person present was completely discombobulated after realizing that Alston, who hadresurrected, had the strength and power to fight against the top masters of the Holy Dragon Empire—Bryant, Marcia, and several elders of the royal family.

The several strong masters had been well aware that Alston was still alive. Despite this, they stillcould not believe that it was real until they saw it with their own eyes

"Alston!" Lena shouted in anger as she clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

"Since when did you have your human body?" Rocky questioned grimly. Shock crept Rocky's veins.Last time he saw Alston, he was still in the body of a fish monster from the spiritual race. But ofcourse, the most important takeaway from the entire scenario was that Alston's strength seemed tohave changed. Seeing Alston in this body, Rocky felt that he had obtained a more intense kind ofpower.

"Why? Are you saying that I can't have this body?" Alston laughed audaciously.

But this was not Rocky's immediate concern at that moment. In fact, he knew deep inside thatAlston planned this all along. Rocky believed that Alston was trying to lure him out by stirring acommotion about the succession ceremony. Moreover, he thought that Alston came alone, withoutany backup, this time. "What are you talking about, Basil? I... I don't understand..." Isis furiously shouted at Rocky.

"In other words, I have nothing to do with the Holy Dragon Empire from now on, nor am I PrinceCrimson anymore,” Rocky announced in a calm tone.

The audience heard this and again, burst into an uproar. No one had expected that Rocky wouldgive up the identity of the Prince Crimson and would detach himself from his duties in the HolyDragon Empire. This was obviously beyond anyone's comprehension

"Ha ha... Do you really think that I'll believe you?" At that moment, Alston already knew that Rockyonly said that to protect the Holy Dragon Empire and its people.

"I don't care whether you believe me or not! From this day forward, everything in the Holy DragonEmpire has nothing to do with me!" Rocky replied flatly.

"So does that mean that you will be indifferent even if I kill Isis and her son?" Alston pointed outwhile a sinister smile crept all over his face.

Hearing this, everyone went quiet. All they could do was look at Rocky's reaction and wait forsomething to happen.

But Rocky kept his cool and remained silent. Then, he took a good look at Isis, who was carryingNigel in her arms. Not long after, he gave a wicked smile and said, "You can kill them, if you can!"Everyone was taken aback by Rocky's words. They couldn't believe that he could ignore the welfareof his wife and child.

"Basil, how did you end up like this?" Isis asked in despair. She could not believe that Rocky wascapable of allowing such a thing to happen to them.

"Isis, he is not Basil we used to know. The Basil we knew would never say such words." Lena shookher head in disbelief.

"W... what's wrong with him? How could he say something like that in front of his wife and child?!"Shirley cursed bitterly.

At that time, only Marcia remained completely unaffected and looked at Rocky as if he were acomplete stranger.

On the other hand, Alston also found it suspicious about how determined Rocky was. Obviously, hedid not buy Rocky's act of being so heartless towards his wife and son. Thus, he swiftly made amove and dashed towards Isis and her son directly.

Rocky saw this, but he didn't move an inch. Instead, he let Alston pass by him.

In the blink of an eye, Alston began to approach Isis and her son. However, Lance stepped in andstopped Alston from doing any harm to the two innocent beings.

But Alston ignored Lance. Soon after, he waved his hand, and a surge of dark power rushed out.Lance tried his best to resist, but there was a significant difference between their strengths.Unfortunately, the dark power broke through Lance's spiritual power, which served as his body'sbarrier against the attacks.

As he was pushed back, Lance moaned silently. At once, his face turned pale as he spat out amouthful of black blood. Despite being seriously injured, he was able to stop after taking two stepsback and determinedly make his way in front of Isis and her son.

"Father..." Isis’ eyes were pouring with tears.

"You stupid old man!" Alston taunted as he made another move. But not long after, anotherstrapping figure stood in front of Lance.

"Chief Bryant!" Lance exclaimed as he saw who tried to protect him and his family.

"I'll take it from here, General Lance. Let me deal with him. Go and take them to a safe place,” Bryantsaid gently.

"Thank you.” Lance nodded politely and looked at Isis and her son. "Let's leave. It's too dangerousto be here.”

On the other hand, Isis couldn't help but look at Rocky with confusion and sadness written on herface.

"Come on, let's go." Lance also took a quick look at Rocky, sighed, and urged his daughter to leave.Finally, Isis and her son were about to leave the square with Lance's protection and a group ofpalace guards protecting them from every angle.

Without a doubt, Alston wouldn't let Isis and her son leave so easily. Just as he was about to launchanother attack towards them, Bryant stepped in and stopped him.

Several elders of the royal family saw this and did not hesitate to join the battle.
