Aware that he would not win this battle, and comforted by the knowledge that Marcia was a womanof her word, Rocky decided to tell her. On some level, he hoped that after learning the truth, Marciawould give up.

"What did you say? You are not Basil..." Astonishment and disbelief glimmered in Marcia's beautifuleyes.

"Yes, my soul doesn't belong to this world. It entered this world by accident. Once my soul attacheditself to Basil's body, his soul fell asleep.”

"But what did you mean when you said that you would leave sooner or later?" Marcia couldn't helpbut ask.

"I had overused my power. As a result, my soul was damaged and incomplete. My soul maydisappear at any time..." Rocky shifted uncomfortably as he explained. "Your father told me aboutit."

"If I were stronger, you wouldn't have to suffer all this.” Guilt surged within Marcia's heart, and hereyes glimmered with unshed tears. It was not until now that she realized that the burden Rockycarried was beyond her imagination.

"Don't worry about me. Just do what you need to. It's good to be able to tell you all this finally. But,please, don't tell the others, especially Lena and Isis..." Rocky and Marcia glanced at each other.Concern reflected in Rocky's expression for a split second before it returned to his typical coldexpression.

"I see." Marcia was rendered speechless. She instinctively knew that Rocky hadn't told hereverything. But, she didn't press him as her mind was in a mess at the moment.

Then, the two returned to the crowd.

"By the way, Basil, I have something for you.” When Sabina saw that Rocky and Marcia had returned,she suddenly remembered something. She brought out a palm-sized Spiritual Weapon withbloodstains.

"The three of us have searched everywhere that the descendants of the Thunder Master Clan mightlive, but we still haven't found traces of them. If the blood on the weapon was indeed the blood of the legendaryguardian beast, then he could use it to extract the beast's blood essence.

Rocky nodded in understanding before glancing around and saying, “I should go now. Take care ofyourselves!" He walked away without giving the women a chance to protest. He was so upset thathe was unable to bring himself to turn and glance at the women. The women steeled themselves,and forcefully held back their tears as they looked at his retreating figure.

"You've got the map of the Spirit Annihilation Land. Not only is the timing perfect, but the land isalso a good place for you to cultivate. "Then, let's go!" Rocky replied before he turned into a black light and disappeared.
