Chapter 1343 The Private Talk With Evita

Rocky, along with Alyssa and several hundred members of the Wood Clan, finally returned to theclan's residence which was a miraculous place in a small country.

A year ago, the Wood Clan's patriarch died in battle to protect his clansmen. After he died, someonehad to take his place. With the unanimous approval of the elders, Alyssa became the new matriarchof the Wood Clan. That was why Alyssa suddenly disappeared after the Timber Deity Empire wasruled by Alston.

After Rocky and Alyssa arrived at the Wood Clan, they immediately went to visit Evita, the mostsenior elder of the clan.

"Look who's finally here! I am honored to receive such a distinguished guest!" Evita was surprised tosee that Rocky suddenly visited her.

"It's my pleasure to finally meet you, Elder Evita,” Rocky respectfully greeted her.

"Me too. Please have a seat," Evita said.

With that, Rocky and Alyssa sat down

"Tell me, what brings you here, Prince Crimson?" Evita straightforwardly asked.

"I happened to be involved in the Phoenix Master Clan's matter, so I came back here with Alyssa tocheck the progress of the new drugs I sent before,” Rocky answered. He had been in frequentcontact with Alyssa over the past year. Besides that, he had also developed a new drug to treat theWood Clan's sterilization. With the Wood Clan as the experimental subject, he had carried outvarious studies on the spiritual race.

"Oh, is that so? I didn't expect that you're involved in this. Now I know why Alyssa tried her best topersuade me and the other elders. It turns out that it is because of you,” Evita wisely said.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot tell you that,” Evita firmly said, shaking her head in disapproval.

"You must think it over, Elder Evita. If Alston gets one more forbidden item, it will be a lot moredifficult to deal with him." Rocky reminded her of the situation at hand.

"Don't worry. That forbidden item is hidden in an unexpectedly safe place. It is absolutely impossiblefor Alston to know where it is and actually get it,” Evita promised him.

"I have another question for you. Why did the Heavenly Demon Clan get the forbidden item of theButterfly Divine Clan back then? You are the only one in the spiritual race that had witnessed thebattle of the Butterfly Divine Clan. You must know the reason better than anyone else,” Rocky asked.Hearing this, Evita shook her head and said, " I was also incredibly surprised when I heard that theforbidden item that Alston obtained was the one that destroyed the Butterfly Divine Clan. "That's all I know about that. Are you satisfied with my answer?" Evita coldly asked as she intenselylooked at Rocky.

"I won't force you to tell me where the forbidden item is. I will replace it out in my own way. And if I do,don't blame me for being rude,” Rocky frankly said.

"Yes, of course, I understand. If you replace it by yourself, then I will say or do nothing," Evita calmlyreplied.

"Before I leave, I want to collect more blood samples for my research,” Rocky firmly demanded."Sure, that's no problem. I'll arrange it." Evita nodded at his request.

Rocky stayed in the Wood Clan for half a day. Then, he bid farewell to Alyssa after he collected theblood samples. Alyssa was a little reluctant to let him leave.

"I didn’t expect that you would leave so soon," Alyssa whispered in a sentimental tone.

"I have to go. Please take good care of yourself," Rocky whispered back.

Alyssa nodded at this and intimately kissed Rocky on the lips. Then she turned around and left.With that, Rocky summoned Ken and left.
