Chapter 1375 Separated By Death

Alyssa didn't show any sign of weakness. Her whole appearance changed, as she was shining with agreen spiritual light. The wood texture on her body was twined, and the green vines behind herwere flying in the air.

Although Alyssa knew that she was no match for Rocky, she also knew that this battle wascompletely inevitable, because she had to avenge her brother one way or another.

In the blink of an eye, Alyssa rushed to Rocky without any hesitation. She used one of the WoodClan's secret powerful skill, and the green spiritual lights flew to Rocky like thousands of leavesdancing in the air.

When he saw this, Rocky didn't move at all. He just let the spiritual lights shoot towards him as if heknew that they wouldn't be able to hurt him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The green lights fell on the ground and instantly exploded around Rocky, making earth-shatteringsounds.

Then, a huge dragon shadow fell from the sky, and a delicate figure walked off. Her eyes turned tolook at Alyssa and Rocky who were fighting against each other.

The figure was none other than Marcia.

"Basil, are you really going to kill Alyssa? Maybe she doesn't hate you deep inside. She's just drivenby the grief of her brother's death.” Marcia's beautiful eyes narrowed, and she was filled with mixedemotions. She also understood the pain in Alyssa's heart. She could feel that Alyssa did not reallyhate Rocky, but she had no other choice but to set herself against him. After all, Rocky had killed herown brother which was her only remaining family. So, Marcia knew that Alyssa must also haveconflicting emotions. No matter hard she tried, she could not hide the hurt she was feeling inside.Marcia believed that Rocky had already sensed Alyssa's feelings, so he must have his own plan.After the green lights fell, dust spread around, while Rocky, who was enveloped in it, did not move."Why aren't you fighting back?" Alyssa frustratingly yelled at him. She knew that Rocky wouldn't bekilled so easily.

Suddenly, a strong cyclone spread on the ground which instantly blew away the dust. Then an evilshadow with black flames appeared. He looked expressionlessly at Alyssa who was furiously glaringat him.

"Is that all you have? You are too weak than I even expected. I don't even want to fight you at all. It'sa complete waste of my time," Rocky mockingly said with disdain written all over his face.

"What did you just say? How dare you!" Alyssa's beautiful eyes were filled with rage. She didn'texpect that Rocky would look down on her. He was a mere nobody before, but now he arrogantlylooked down upon her. It was completely ridiculous.

"I have a proposition. I will allow you to attack me three times and I will not block your attacks at all.After that, it's my turn to make a move. But when my turn comes, your death is inevitable,” Rockycoldly said.

"Who do you think you are? Such an arrogant brat!" Alyssa couldn't help but curse him. Then, sheturned into a green shadow and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

As Rocky watched Alyssa disappear, he remained calm. Almost instantly, the ground beneath hisfeet suddenly rumbled. Giant vines rushed up from the ground and instantly surrounded him.

The vines began to move continuously and came directly at Rocky. It looked as if they wanted toforcefully clip him into a pulp.

Rocky lightly waved the huge Flaming Blade in his hand. In an instant, a whirlwind like black flameraged out and quickly spread, burning up the giant vines in a flash.

Almost at the same time, several green vines suddenly flew and entangled Rocky's limbs. Then, ashadow approached at an extremely fast speed. A shining green spiritual light was swirling aroundher palm as if it had condensed an extremely strong power.

"Go and rot in hell!” Alyssa furiously yelled. Then, she smacked the green spiritual light in her palmon Rocky's chest.

Seeing this, Marcia couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She could see that Alyssa was really goingall out to kill Rocky.

However, Rocky didn't even blink his eyes. He waved the huge Flaming Blade in his hand andquickly slashed down at Alyssa.

However, Alyssa didn't dodge at all like she wasn't afraid of death. She continued to approachRocky and the huge Flaming Blade fell on her.

The two powerful figures collided with each other and caused a stormy impact. The waves ofspiritual force surged which was totally astonishing.

Then, the two figures were completely swallowed up by the dazzling light.

"Basil!" Marcia couldn't help but frown at what she saw and called out his name.

The soldiers of the two armies who were fighting to the death suddenly stopped since they werealso shocked at what was happening.

After a long time, the light gradually dissipated. The two figures stood face to face and intenselylooked at each other. There was a ditch like slash behind where Alyssa stood which went deep intothe ground and extended up to a hundred meters away.

Meanwhile, Alyssa's palm was imprinted on Rocky's chest, as if it had hit him.

The two stood completely still like statues with each other's figures reflected in their eyes.

Then, Alyssa’s delicate body moved and collapsed towards Rocky.

Rocky immediately put his arm around Alyssa's slender waist and asked with a puzzled look, "Whydid you stop? Didn't you want to kill me? That was your only chance.”

"Yes, I did, but..." Alyssa said as she tightly held Rocky's body. Her body violently trembled as if shewas extremely scared.

"Why are you doing this?" Rocky deeply sighed.

"I have no other choice. I want justice for my brother's death. But I am reluctant to kill you, so theonly thing I could do is to kill myself,” Alyssa said as blood dripped from the corners of her mouth.Rocky's eyes turned cold. He checked Alyssa's body and found that all the meridians in her bodywere already broken. It seemed that the reason why the meridians were destroyed by the spiritualpower was because she forcefully took back the spiritual power that she had previously used. Ofcourse, he knew that Alyssa must have done it on purpose. She wanted to settle all of her grudgesbefore she died.

"No, I won't let you die." Rocky immediately picked up Alyssa and planned to look for a place toquickly cure her wounds.

This scene made everybody even more confused. The commander in chiefs of the two armies, whohad been fighting to death just a while ago, now tightly hugged each other as if they were about tobe separated by death. It was truly inconceivable.

"No, it's too late. Please don't be sad for me. Meeting you is actually the best thing that happenedin my life even though we didn't have many good memories together. I'm happy that you're herewith me before I die," Alyssa softly said as she touched Rocky's face with her trembling hand.
