"No, I'd rather not." Rocky shook his head. He refused to do that, because he was worried that hisevil energy might have implications on his son.

At that moment, Isis and Rocky locked eyes and understood what each other meant withoututtering a single word. She no longer forced him to come near the child. But as she was about toput Nigel in Sue's arms, Nigel suddenly said in an ambiguous voice, "Da—d..."

Hearing this for the first time, Rocky, Isis, and Sue were all very much surprised.

"What? Did you hear that? Did he just call you dad?" Isis wanted to jump out of immense joy.Apparently, this was Nigel's first time to say dad.

"Son, help me take good care of your mother for me in the future,” Rocky softly ordered Nigel. Thiswas because he knew that this might be the last time he saw his beloved son.

Of course, Nigel didn't understand a word his father said. However, he looked straight into Rocky'seyes as if he was trying to memorize his father's face.

Afterwards, Rocky handed over Nigel to Sue and left the Dragon Master Clan with Isis. Then, both ofthem were heading to the Butterfly Divine Clan at the Myriad Beasts Ground.

Upon receiving the vial, Rocky proceeded to tell Cherry his main agenda for his visit.

"Just tell me whatever kind of help you need. Rest assured that our clan will do our very best to helpsave the Wild Spirit Land.” Cherry had her offer ready on the table.

Right after that, Rocky sent Isis back to the United Army's base camp. Since Marcia hadn't comeback yet, he left alone after giving some orders in the camp.

Not long after, he arrived at his next destination—the Myriad Spirit Tomb.

"Now that you've finally gathered nine drops of the blood essence of the legendary guardianbeasts, you can now activate the memories in the Oracle Jade," the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast saidin a low and deep voice. Its aura radiated the impression that it was wise beyond its years ofexistence.

"Finally, all the mysteries are going to be solved soon enough,” Rocky said with a serious anddetermined look on his face.

"Perhaps this mystery is far different from what you have imagined. But what you have done willchange the fate of not just this world but also the other world,” commented the Dragon-shapedSoul Beast.

Rocky's eyes suddenly narrowed. With much focus and determination, he took out the vialcontaining nine drops of the legendary guardian beasts’ blood essence and untied the Oracle Jadethat hung around his neck. This moment was very crucial for the truth and answers to all hisprevious doubts would finally be revealed.

But the truth would never be able to change his soul from disappearing. No matter what the truthwas, he would still push through with his initial plan. At least, once he knew the truth, he wouldknow why he had to shoulder such a fate, as well as the reasons why such things happened fromthe very beginning.
