Chapter 1411 Collecting Information

Rocky knew he had to replace an opportunity to figure out where he was. Additionally, he had tocollect information regarding this alien land. That included their strength ranking system, the ShuraRace and so on. Only by gathering as much as information would he be able to locate Marcia andthe others soon and save them.

On the other hand, Rocky knew he had to think of a carefully thought-out plan before he made asingle move. Since he lost his divine power, he only stood a chance against ordinary members of theShura Race with the little strength he had left. If he met any of the stronger members, he would bein danger. He needed to be vigilant.

After the carriage travelled six hours, Rocky witnessed a magnificent city appear before him. Uponfirst glance, it appeared to be no different from the Wild Spirit Land.

However, upon entering the city, Rocky was caught off guard. For every ten people he saw, therewere at least three or four of them that emanated powerful auras akin to those of spiritmanipulators. Most of them showed great strength—none measured less than a Supernal Stageranking.

“Does everyone in this world possess such power?’ Rocky asked himself curiously in his heart.Suddenly, he sensed that something above was blocking the sun. He looked up and saw a group ofrare spiritual beasts flying overhead, one after the other. Riding them were several young men andwomen in tightly fitted clothing armed with spiritual swords. They appeared to be disciples of somesects.

The spiritual beasts circled the sky for a while as if patrolling over something before they headed inanother direction.

The luxurious spiritual beast carriage slowly passed through the crowd as Rocky continued to lookaround the city. He discovered that not only could he replace people who yielded extraordinaryspiritual power everywhere but the nearby shops were selling a wide variety of treasures such as theSpiritual Weapons as well. Each one of them would certainly fetch a high price if sold in the WildSpirit Land. However, they appeared to be nothing more than ordinary market items found in arandom shop in this alien land.

Rocky found out an hour later the carriage drove into a small city wall. As he passed through, hemade another discovery—a smaller city within the city. Just like the treasures earlier in the market,the buildings erected here were just as numerous.

Before long, the carriage halted in the square which stood in front of an opulently designed hall.Ramon was the first to get out of the carriage. He then walked towards Rocky before picking him upand tossing him to the side. He cupped his hands in front of the carriage and announced, "We'vearrived, my lady."

"Okay," a voice as soft as a feather replied

A moment later, the carriage's curtain was pulled back to unveil a gorgeous woman with a veiledface. She got off the carriage with Ramon'’s help.

"I'll go visit the governor first while you take him to a doctor," the woman ordered as she cast ablank stare at Rocky. She then walked towards the hall in front of her.

Ramon looked back at Rocky before he grudgingly tossed him back into the carriage and droveaway from the square.

Once they left the square and passed through several arched gates, Rocky noticed that they wereapproaching a beast farm.

Once the carriage stopped at its entrance, three people stepped out to meet them. The trio was ledby the person in charge of the beast farm who greeted Ramon respectfully, "Glad to see you back,Captain Li! Was everything alright during your journey?”

"Yes," Ramon replied and nodded impassively.

"There'll be no problem with Captain Li protecting our lady!" the other two followers echoedimmediately.

"Well... who is he?" the trio's leader asked as soon as he noticed Rocky in the passenger seat.

"This guy suddenly ran into the road. He got injured when he was hit by Ally. Our lady asked me tobring him back for medical treatment. So, where's Dr. Lloyd? I need him to get over here andexamine him. He will stay at your place for a few days to recover before we send him away,” Ramonexplained and ordered

"What? Let's be honest here. Is It really necessary to ask Dr. Lloyd to come over and treat this...nobody?" the leader of the beast farm asked quizzically.

"Yes. It's what our lady ordered!" Ramon firmly retorted.

"Alright," the leader replied. He then hinted at his two followers wordlessly.

They stepped forward and assisted Rocky with getting off the carriage, unaware that he was onlypretending to be hurt. Then, they led him into the beast farm. Ramon cast one more glance atRocky before he turned around and left.

Rocky discovered that the beast farm was smaller and simpler than he expected once he entered it.The beasts that were being raised in it, however, were quite the opposite. Although he had no ideahow to distinguish the spiritual beasts that roamed this world, he could still tell that they were allquite rare upon first glance.

Rocky was then thrown into the beast farm's storage room the next moment.

"I don't understand why our lady decided to take in a homeless man. If her carriage bumped intohim, she could've just thrown some money and left. Why go through all the trouble of bringing himback here?" one of the men in yellow asked in annoyance as he viciously gazed at Rocky.

"Shhhh! Keep your voice down. Everyone in the city knows our lady is kind and merciful. Don't ruinher reputation for the sake of your convenience!" another man in blue scolded back immediately."You're right,” the man in yellow finally agreed with a nod.

By then, the leader of the beast farm arrived. He took one look at Rocky and ordered his men, "Youtwo! Go and replace a doctor to check on him. The quicker he recovers, the sooner we can send himaway."

"But didn't Captain Li specifically ask for Dr. Lloyd to come over?” the man in blue quickly inquired."Excuse me? You're kidding, right? Do you think it's a good idea to bother the prestigious Dr. Lloydwith some random patient? Yes, our lady requested for him. But you know we can't ask Dr. Lloyd tocome over. He'll be very displeased with us and we'll all be in trouble,” the leader retorted with eyesas wide as saucers.

With these words, the two attendants menacingly stared at Rocky before they left.

Once they were all gone, Rocky immediately stood up. He stretched and yawned before walking outof the storage room. Seeing that no one else was present, he began to search the beast farm for anyspiritual beasts to study more closely. While carrying out his inspection, he also collected someblood samples to further his studies.

Soon, Rocky noticed the two attendants returning with a doctor. He rushed for the storage roomand pretended to be badly injured and unable to move like before.

Within a few moments, he heard the trio enter the room.

"That's him," the man in blue said as he pointed at Rocky.

The doctor took a quick look at him before he squatted down to check his pulse. It was barely there.He felt nothing except a faint throbbing of blood under Rocky's flesh.
