Chapter 1463 Ally's Mate

"Basil, what should we do now? I've tried all the spiritual beasts I could borrow, but Ally isn'tinterested in any of them!" Hannah sighed. She'd arrived at the beast farm early that morning toconsult Rocky. There, she found him feeding her spiritual beast.

"Well, you can't force it," Rocky said with a smile. "I've told you this before."

"Is there really no other way?" Hannah threw her hands up hopelessly, looking at Rocky intently inthe hopes he had a solution.

"Actually," Rocky said after a while, his eyes twinkling. "There is another way, but you may not likeit.”

"Try me," Hannah said seriously.

"Well, you could let my spiritual beast have a try," Rocky said slowly.

"Oh!" Hannah cried in surprise. "I almost forgot you even had a spiritual beast. However, I've heardrumors that it's a demonic spiritual beast...”

Rocky nodded curtly. "It's true.”

"Would there be a problem if Ally mates with a demonic spiritual beast?" Hannah asked, her eyeswide with concern.

"To be honest, I don't know," Rocky answered. But in fact, he did know. He had already studied thegenes of Ally and Glutton, and he had found out that their gene fusion was perfect. If they matedsuccessfully, their progeny would be outstanding.

"How about we ask Doctor Lloyd to take a look at them? If he says it's okay, then..." Hannah's voicetrailed off, as though she were deep in thought.

"Okay, let's do it." Rocky smiled reassuringly.

"Come with me to see him," Hannah pleaded. She could barely wait. "Let's go now!"

Shortly after, Rocky and Hannah left the beast farm and headed to the Medical Service Hall whereLloyd worked.

The Medical Service Hall wasn't very large; however, it had a decently sized courtyard. There, theyfound Lloyd refining elixirs by a furnace.

"Doctor Lloyd!" In the Supreme Ether Land, spirit warriors did not rely on elixirs to cultivate, so therefined elixirs were mostly used to heal their injuries. It seemed that was what Lloyd was up to whenthey found him.

The old man by the furnace looked up to see who was calling him.

"Good morning, Miss Hannah!" he said with a big smiled. "What brings you here today?"

"I want you to take a look at Basil's spiritual beast,” Hannah answered bluntly, unwilling to waste anytime for a small talk.

"And are you the Basil she speaks of?" Lloyd cocked his eyebrows at Hannah's companion. AlthoughRocky was well-known in the Sword Spirit Sect, it was Lloyd's first time to encounter him in the flesh."Good morning, Doctor Lloyd!" Rocky cupped his hands politely. Subtly, he looked Lloyd up anddown to study him. He found that, although Lloyd had restrained his spiritual aura, his strengthseemed to have surpassed the advanced stage of the Spiritual Infant. It was possible he was amaster at the King Realm who had already cultivated the Imperial Soul.

"Let's go outside," Lloyd said, gesturing at them to follow him. "Please summon your spiritualbeast!" It seemed he wasn't looking to waste any time, either. He hurriedly walked out of theMedical Service Hall, hands clasped behind his back.

Rocky and Hannah followed after him closely.

When they arrived at the courtyard outside the hall, Rocky walked to the center and summonedGlutton from his Magic Spiritual Space.

At that time, many disciples of the Medical Service Hall heard about Rocky's presence and came outto watch.

As soon as Glutton emerged, the atmosphere changed completely. The legendary beast's mightyaura instantly covered the whole area, striking fear in almost everyone present.

"Well, let me see...” Lloyd said at the sight of the majestic beast. "It doesn't look like any ordinaryspiritual beast.” The doctor eyed Rocky suspiciously. In all his years of experience, he could tell at aglance that Glutton was different from other beasts.

"It is said to be a demonic spiritual beast,” Hannah said, answering on Rocky's behalf. "Please take aclose look."

"Demonic spiritual beast? Oh, my!" Lloyd's expression darkened. Nodding slightly to Hannah, hestarted to walk slowly towards Glutton. After studying the beast from every angle, he lightly pressedone hand against its armor-like skin. Suddenly, his hand started to glow.

A hush had fallen over the crowd as everyone held their breath, waiting for Lloyd's verdict. Finally,after a few minutes, Lloyd finally let his hand fall to his side. "I can't even tell the strength of thisdemonic spiritual beast,” he said with a frustrated sigh. "I'm afraid it is far above the King Realm.”"So it is also a spiritual beast at the King Realm?" Hannah pursed her lips in concern.

"Maybe it's more than that!" Lloyd exclaimed. "Although the demonic spiritual beast is very rare inthe Ethereal Region, I happened to encounter a few when I traveled around. But I have never seensuch a talented demonic spiritual beast... It is stronger than any other ordinary demonic spiritualbeast. "Doctor, are you sure?" Hannah turned to Lloyd hesitantly.

Lloyd nodded firmly. "At the very least, it's the most talented demonic spiritual beast I've ever seenin my life."

"Can it mate with Ally?" Hannah asked excitedly, her heart racing.

"I'm not sure, but with the talent of this demonic spiritual beast, its descendants should be able toinherit its talent,” Lloyd replied, scratching his chin.

"So, if Ally mates with it, will they have an even more powerful descendant?"

"That's possible,” Lloyd said with a slight nod.

"Well, then I guess it's worth a shot!" Hannah's eyes shone with excitement. Obviously, she wantedher brilliant spiritual beast to mate with an extraordinarily talented spiritual beast. If they weresuccessful, not only would they benefit from having a stronger spiritual beast, but so would theSword Spirit Sect.

"But what if Ally doesn't like it as well?" Rocky asked suddenly.

"It's still worth trying." Hannah shot Rocky a reproachful look and then said to Lloyd, "Thank you,Doctor."

"You're welcome, Miss Hannah!" Lloyd cupped his hands.

Without delaying any further, Rocky and Hannah then left the Medical Service Hall and headedstraight back to the beast farm.

As they were leaving, Lloyd narrowed his eyes at their receding figures. "With a demonic spiritualbeast that talented, it's theoretically impossible for a human spirit warrior to be able to control it.And yet, this Basil person is able to control it with such ease! I'm afraid it'll be necessary to report itto the sect leader.”

Meanwhile, Hannah and Rocky rushed over to the beast farm. Upon their return, Rocky immediatelyplaced Glutton in Ally's stable.

The moment Ally saw Glutton, it acted hostile at first. Naturally, Glutton was a stranger, so Allyneeded to remain vigilant. However, because Glutton's aura was overwhelmingly powerful, it didn'ttake long before Ally was conquered. After a while, the latter acted like a docile little lamb andallowed Glutton to get close to it.

"Miss Hannah, I think this will be a success,” Rocky said with a smile. "I think we'd better leave themalone.” Hannah nodded, and together they walked out of the stable to let the pair of beasts bealone together.
