"Yes, this is indeed a newborn beast," Rocky replied while nodding his head.

"Is it the one born in your Magic Spiritual Space?" Eunice asked with suspicion.

"No, its birth is a little too complicated. You won't understand it even if I explain it to you," Rockysaid with a grin.

"Humph! How rude! Isn't it afraid of being taken away since it's so small?" Eunice said as she lookedat Kohen with captivated eyes.

"Don't worry. It inherited excellent genes from its parents. Ordinary spirit warriors can't even hopeto catch it." Rocky could tell from Kohen's performance that it got Uriah and Ken's incredible traits."That's good. If it somehow loses, I'll have to get even with you..." Eunice said, staking her claim overthe young creature.

"What did you say? It is my spiritual beast!" Rocky didn't know if he should get angry or laugh atEunice’s remark.

"From now on, I am its master,” Eunice announced. She knew from the moment she laid eyes on itthat it had to be hers. She just couldn't resist its adorable appearance. Without waiting for Rocky'sreply, she reached out and was about to carry it.

"I'm afraid you need to ask it if it's okay first,” Rocky butted in before she could do so.

"Little guy, are you willing to do that?" Eunice asked

Kohen blinked its dazzling eyes and immediately went into Eunice's arms.

"Look, it seems to like me,” Eunice said with a proud grin.

"Kohen, come back to me now." Rocky shot the creature an intimidating look. All of a sudden,Kohen shivered and jumped back to his shoulder.

"Stop it! You're scaring the poor thing!" Eunice looked at him with an angry look.

"It already recognized me as its master, so it's only natural that it listens to me,”

Rocky replied with a smile and looked at Kohen with a satisfied expression.

"Recognized you? Look at it, it's so small. How could it possibly know that you're its master?" You'relying!" Eunice had never heard of a cub that already would recognize its master. Generally, onlywhen a creature reached a mature age would it be able to choose its rightful owner.

"Of course I have my own ways." Rocky then remembered to ask a question. "By the way, what can Ido for you?"

"I just got the news that the Spiritual Infant Contest of the three major schools will be held inadvance this year. This means we only have half a year left to practice. We need to make use of thistime and cultivate harder, so that we can represent the Sky-suppressing School to fight," Eunice saidin a serious tone.

"I guess it won't be that difficult,” Rocky said nonchalantly.

"What? There are literally hundreds of strong warriors at the King Realm in this school. Aside fromthose who are at our level, there are hundreds more that are stronger than us. You can't possiblyrepresent the school with your current strength.”

Eunice shook her head in dismay.

"Alright then, what is the prerequisite to represent the Sky-suppressing School?" Rocky asked.

"We need to get to the top five in the qualifying competition, but in order to participate in it weneed to make sure that our strength is in the top 50. The most important thing is we have to hideour true purpose. We should show them that we're slowly improving step by step so that we canconvince them! Especially you, you can't expose your real strength too early,” Eunice said.

"Okay."

"A month later, the freshmen contest will be held. To raise our ranking in the entire school, we haveto finish in the top 10 of that contest. The higher our ranking is, the faster will we achieve our goal,”Eunice continued.

"Then it shouldn't be too difficult, right?" Rocky genuinely asked.

"Not difficult? Get your head out of your ass. You do know that there are at least three King Realmwarriors with Spiritual Infants at the medium stage, while some’s already at the peak stage, right?Don't be too arrogant.” Seeing that Rocky didn't take the task seriously, Eunice couldn't help butfrown and raise her chin up.

"Oh stop worrying! I don't think it would be that difficult.” Rocky smiled calmly as he brushed pastEunice.

"God, why is he so confident?" Eunice sighed.

After stepping foot inside his room, Rocky immediately entered his Magic Spiritual Space. SinceKohen was successfully born, he gathered a lot of knowledge about the genes of the spiritual beastsin this world. However, he needed to figure out how to quickly cultivate Kohen's powers since hedidn't have much time. The only possible way he could think of was to genetically modify it.

In the Wild Spirit Land, he had achieved great progress in genetic modification. But since the twolands were different, the genetic makeup of its beasts were also vastly different. He had to study thegene of the spiritual beasts here in the Supreme Ether Land again

Of course, for Rocky, it was only a matter of time.

And so he spent the rest of his night studying.

The day after, came the first training session for the new disciples. The disciples were allowed topractice on their own, but after every few days, they would be sent to dangerous places with evilbeasts where they were assigned to complete different tasks. If any one of them failed to do so,they would get punished.

Therefore, early in the morning, Rocky and Eunice were informed to go to the Phantom Valley, thedesignated cultivation place of the Sky-suppressing School.

As soon as they arrived at the entrance of the valley, they immediately saw that the disciples of thesame batch had already gathered there. They were only allowed to enter the valley three times amonth and the cultivation in the valley was very beneficial to the spirit warriors at the King Realm,so naturally, no one wanted to miss it.

After all the new disciples arrived, the Phantom Valley opened. More than fifty new disciples rushedinto the valley and began their training without haste. They had five days to complete their tasks.As soon as they entered the valley, Rocky looked sideways at Eunice and asked, "You want to splitup?"

"Can you do it alone?" Eunice asked.

"Are you underestimating my skills?" Rocky shot back with a smile.

"You're a troublemaker. I'm worried about you." Eunice was not worried about whether Rocky coulddo the job, but more worried whether he would cause trouble.

"What if I cover my face?" Rocky teased her.

"It has nothing to do with your face,” Eunice replied while rolling her eyes.

"Ha-ha! See you later.” Rocky burst into laughter and flew away.

"What is up with this guy?" Eunice’s eyes twinkled. However, she knew that it was not the right timefor her to worry about Rocky. She had to do her task not only to avoid being punished, but also tostrengthen her skills.

After that, Eunice also disappeared out of sight.

Seconds after Rocky and Eunice parted ways, two figures appeared out of the horizon led byHayden.

"Boss, that guy has broken up with the woman," a yellow-haired King Realm disciple with a nosering said.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Follow him and wait for the chance to kill him," Hayden said fiercelywith a mean look.

"I can't imagine how unlucky he is to provoke our boss!"

Soon, the two men at the King Realm disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Meanwhile, Rocky immediately summoned Kohen after he found himself alone. After whathappened yesterday, he was sure that Kohen had inherited the ability of treasure hunting, whichshould be even better than Ken's. With the help of his young creature, he was not worried aboutreplaceing the spiritual treasures.
