She promptly raised the wand in her hand, and a black light flashed from the tip, which instantlyencased the entire area

Rocky's knees almost collapsed from under him as an extremely powerful evil force pounced onhim, until he couldn't resist its force. His mind soon became blurred, and the wand began to absorbhis soul.

Before he knew it, he felt like something was gushing out of his body, and he grew weaker andweaker by the second.

Just as Rocky was at death's door, the Scarlet Heaven Jade in his pocket abruptly flashed and rushedout of his clothes, shooting towards the old woman.

The old hag didn't expect this to happen, as she thought that Rocky was as good as dead. Beforeshe could react, the Scarlet Heaven Jade struck her hard on the chest, and a blinding light blazed astremendous martial spirit power rushed into her body. Then, a streak of martial spirit seemed tohave been forcefully pulled from her body and was sucked into the Scarlet Heaven Jade.

How can a brat like you defeat me?"

Rocky knew that if it weren't for the attack of the Scarlet Heaven Jade, the wand would have fullyabsorbed his soul until he was nothing but a puppet for that old hag. He shuddered at the thoughtof what could have been.

"By the way, have you checked her out?

The Army-blessing Scroll could be somewhere on her person,” suggested Eunice.

Rocky nodded affirmatively and immediately bent down to search the old woman's corpse, but hedid not replace anything valuable.

"That's strange. If it wasn't on her, where else could it be? I was expecting that we'll get it once she’sdead,"

Eunice whined and pouted.

"Hmm, let me try using the page again.”

Rocky took out the damaged piece of the Army-blessing Scroll. The moment he brought the pageout, the bone-filled room on the tree house suddenly glowed with golden light, and powerfulspiritual power roared out like a thousand beasts, which was quite mind-blowing!
