Chapter 1624 The Beast Evaluation

The beast evaluation was held in the beast evaluating room located in the west wing of the SpiritualBeast Palace. The so-called evaluation would determine whose spiritual beast was the mostqualified. The winning beast could be purchased for an exorbitant price by Ishaan himself. This waswhy the evaluation became a gathering place for merchants and spiritual warriors interested inselling their spiritual beasts.

Once Rocky arrived at the beast evaluating room, it was already overcrowded with at least thirty orforty people.

The room was connected to the Spiritual Beast Palace's beast farm. The merchants and spiritwarriors who wished to participate would need to register first and then guide their beasts to thebeast farm where they would wait for their turn

Rocky headed to the gate of the beast evaluating room to register.

"Please take your spiritual beast to the beast farm while waiting for your turn,” the staff in charge ofregistration instructed them.

"I'll go ahead to the beast farm. You can head over to the beast evaluating room first!" Rocky toldShirley.

She nodded and entered the room as Rocky entered the farm via a side door that provided specialaccess from behind the beast evaluating room.

As he entered, there were numerous people dressed up as servants roaming the beast farm. Besideeach servant was a cage, and within each of them was a spiritual beast. Some were at the SpiritRealm, while some had the strength equal to a Spiritual Infant.

Rocky found a random vacant seat and sat down.

Not long after, the staff began to call out their numbers. The servants brought their beasts into thebeast evaluating room one after another. From time to time, they could hear various exclamationscoming from within it.

An hour and a half later, it was Rocky's turn. He went straight into the beast evaluating room.There were three beast cages when he walked in. All the beasts within them were declared to be themost valuable.

"Where is your spiritual beast, young man?" an old man in charge of the evaluations asked curiouslyonce he realized Rocky had entered alone.

The people in the beast evaluating room shot him flustered looks.

"Wait a minute!” As soon as Rocky finished speaking, he waved his hand. Immediately, a dazzlinglyblinding white light appeared out of nowhere.

In the blink of an eye, a beast bathed in purple flames sprang forth. It was none other than thePurple-flaming Phoenix.

Everyone present was curious to know where Rocky had kept the magnificent beast.

Although there were treasures for storing spiritual beasts in the Ethereal Region, they were very rareand precious.

All those present couldn't help but speculate Rocky's true identity. Perhaps he wasn't a nobody,after all.

"Is that the Purple-flaming Phoenix?" The beast evaluator immediately recognized it. It was one ofthe few high-grade spiritual beasts that humans could control.

The rest of the onlookers present were still mesmerized by how Rocky's beast alone was able tooutshine the three spiritual beasts they had just deemed as the most valuable.

"There's no need to examine this one any further. I'll just rank it as today's top-ranking spiritualbeast,” the beast evaluator announced.

Suddenly, the crowd fell into silence. This was the first time that the beast evaluator announced theresults without even trying to inspect the beast up for debate.

But considering how rare the Purple-flaming Phoenix was in the Ethereal Region, no one questionedhis decision.

Later, more spiritual beasts were brought forth, but none of them could be compared to Rocky'sbeast.

Soon, there were no more spiritual beasts left to evaluate.

"It seems this young man has been honored the opportunity to sell Mr. Gao this marvelousspecimen for a high price today," the beast evaluator announced.

The rest of those who participated in the beast evaluation shook their heads and sighed. But theywere all convinced, considering the rarity of the marvelous creature.

"Go inform Mr. Gao that today's winner of the beast evaluation is the Purple-flaming Phoenix!" thebeast evaluator ordered.

Soon, Ishaan received word of the winning spiritual beast.

For every beast evaluation, the top spiritual beast selected would be presented to Ishaan who wouldoffer a high bid for it in return. On top of that, he made a rare public appearance. This was why thecrowd present didn't leave but waited quietly for his arrival.

Around five minutes later, the person who left to inform Ishaan returned alone. Ishaan was nowherein sight.

The messenger whispered into the beast evaluator's ear and then stepped aside.

"I'm terribly sorry, sir. Mr. Gao said that the Purple-flaming Phoenix may be rare, but he's notinterested,” the beast evaluator informed Rocky immediately.

"Oh, I see." Rocky didn't expect Ishaan to be so picky.

"That's all for today!" the beast evaluator declared.

"Wait a minute.” Rocky wouldn't give up so easily.

"Anything else, sir?" the beast evaluator looked at him in confusion.

"I've brought more spiritual beasts with me today," Rocky swiftly answered

"You have more than one spiritual beast?" This amazed the beast evaluator.

"How about this one, sir?" Rocky asked as he summoned Kohen.

The tiny beast shook its head once it emerged from the Magic Spiritual Space. Its cute appearanceimmediately caught everyone's attention.

"Is this a spiritual beast as well?"

"Why is it so tiny?"

"It's merely a cub!"

"I don't see what's so special about this spiritual beast. Do you?"

Everyone present began to discuss and debate about what exactly made Kohen unique.

The beast evaluator, who had seen countless spiritual beasts, was surprised by Kohen. He sensed astrange aura emanating from it, but he couldn't put a finger on it.

"What do you think, sir?" Rocky immediately asked the beast evaluator.

"I can't seem to identify this spiritual beast," the puzzled beast evaluator confessed.

This further startled the onlookers for this was the most experienced beast evaluator in all of theSpiritual Beast Palace. For him to be unable to determine the origins of Rocky's spiritual beast wasbaffling!

"Oh? I wonder who else could identify my beast in the Spiritual Beast Palace,” Rocky said.

"I'm afraid I'll have to ask Mr. Gao to come here in person!" As soon as he finished his sentence, thebeast evaluator ordered his men to ask for Ishaan once more.

After a few minutes, a tall figure strode into the beast evaluating room. He came off as quite adominant and arrogant individual. Two other warriors, whose Spiritual Infants were at the mediumstage, trailed behind him.

Seeing this, all the people present showed respect.

It was none other than Ishaan.

Rocky turned his head towards him. He realized he was the middle-aged man he had metpreviously.

"It's this gentleman, Mr. Gao." The beast evaluator swiftly took a step forward and gestured towardsRocky.

Ishaan raised his head to look at him. As they locked gazes, the former's narrowed. He could seethat Rocky wasn't just an ordinary person. Although he was hiding his true strength, Ishaan couldtell it was incredible!

"May I know your name, sir?" Ishaan quickly shifted and asked Rocky kindly.
