Therefore,although its outer shell was intact, it also suffered a lot of internal injuries under the impact of thespiritual power at the Earthly Stage, which made it begin to seem rather powerless.

Just then, one man and a beast emerged out of the dense thicket nearby.

"It's you!" The red-haired man looked surprised when he saw Rocky emerge unscathed from thebushes, with a cocky grin on his face.

"You've really made great efforts in helping me exhaust the strength of the Dark Heaven Insect sothat I can defeat it in just one move!" The red-haired man's jaw dropped. He realized that this hadall been part of this mysterious man’s plan! He had concocted a perfect scheme from the verybeginning. If he could successfully lure the Dark Heaven Insect out onto the ground, the red-hairedman would probably be totally driven to obtain the Dark Heaven Egg. And to get the Dark HeavenEgg, he had to kill the Dark Heaven Insect first. Rocky's prediction was right! The red-haired manwould most likely do his best to kill this target once and for all.

"You little bastard, how dare you plot against me?" The red-haired man looked aghast at Rocky'swords. He had never expected to have the tables turn like this!

"You might have heard an old saying goes like this: he that does evil shall replace evil. I'm just giving itback to you. Tell me, who exactly hired you to attack the frontline outpost of the Holy DragonEmpire?" Rocky asked the red-haired man coldly, and his eyes becoming as hard as steel.

"Ha-ha, what do you think you are? To deal with a man weak and useless like you, I can crush youwith just one finger!" the red-haired man cried out with great arrogance. It was clear that he hadn'tknown about Rocky's hidden strength yet, and he sneered at this man whom he perceived to bequite weak.

Since there was a nest under the ghost village, which was a very suitable place to keep it in captivity,Rocky led the Dark Heaven Insect here. Once the beast stopped moving, Rocky jumped off its back. As he did this, he pulled out severalpoisoned bone arrows from the quiver behind his back. While the Dark Heaven Insect was lookingfor the magical saliva in the dark, he aimed at the unhealed wounds on its four legs and inserted thearrows into its wounds one by one.

"Howl!" The Dark Heaven Insect immediately collapsed to the ground again, unable to move.Rocky grinned.
