Two days later, Rocky was informed of who their commander was. It was none other than Beverly, afemale beast manipulator of the spiritual race who had fought with Rocky before.

“Does she know that there's an Emperor Realm spiritual beast in that mountain? Does she plan tosubdue and manipulate it to command thousands of other beasts? If the spiritual race succeeds, thiswill greatly affect our chances of winning the future battles. Rocky had a bad feeling about this, likea cold and heavy stone stuck at the pit of his stomach.

In the end, he promptly ordered and led five thousand troops to the primeval forest of the PantaMountain to further investigate.

After three days of traveling, Rocky's army finally arrived at Panta Mountain. It seemed as thoughthey were one step ahead of the spiritual army since they couldn't replace any trace of them.

Their early arrival meant that they were at an advantage. Rocky immediately began to station troopsaround the forest to ambush the spiritual race army who would soon showed up.

As he expected, Beverly and her spiritual race army arrived at the primeval forest a day later. Theyimmediately sent spies into the forest to search for the Emperor Realms beast.

Although Beverly and her army had stepped right into their trap, Rocky was in no rush. Instead, hewaited in the dark like a patient predator ready to pounce on his prey at the right moment. It wasalso because he wanted to uncover how the spiritual race would subdue the Emperor Realmspiritual beast.

Another day passed.

After a lengthy search, the spies sent by the spiritual race finally uncovered the beast's whereaboutsdeep within the primeval forest. Beverly led her troops into the forest with no hesitation and headedstraight for its nest.

The spiritual race caused quite a disturbance which immediately alerted the Emperor Realm spiritualbeast that was near.

It seemed to have guessed that they were coming for it. It swiftly summoned a menacing spiritualbeast army to guard its lair.

However, the spiritual race army was by no means ordinary. Many of its members were highly-skilled at hunting spiritual beasts. Every soldier in the army received nothing less than the best interms of training for hunting. This gave them the advantage of knowing how to deal with powerfulspiritual beasts.

Although an intimidating spiritual beast army guarded the lair, Beverly's army swiftly launched anattack as soon as they arrived at its location. Rocky assumed that they intended to finish this battleas quickly as possible.

Because the spiritual army made preparations in advance, the spiritual beast army soon fell intodespair under their impressive attack.

The Emperor Realm spiritual beast was furious in its cave as it witnessed its spiritual beast army'sinability to fend off the spiritual race army's attack. At last, it headed to the battlefield to lead itsarmy.

Just as it showed up, two mighty spiritual race warriors of the Emperor Realm arrived to face ithead-on.

"No wonder the spiritual race army is so aggressive. They had help from the Emperor Realmmasters. If those two manage to subdue this beast, then it will truly be a dire situation.” Rocky, wholurked alone beside the lair, knew that something amiss was about to happen once he saw the twoEmperor Realm masters join the battle.

The only people who could save the Emperor Realm spiritual beast now were Rocky and his army.But if Rocky's army fought now, then they would inevitably suffer numerous losses.

Rocky couldn't overthink now. He needed to stop the spiritual race first.

He immediately left the Emperor Realm spiritual beasts lair and joined his troops outside theprimeval forest. They planned to launch a surprise attack on the spiritual race army.

Once everything was ready, he led his army to attack from behind the spiritual race army. The latterwere immediately caught off guard.

They did not expect to be attacked by a human army. Soon, they found themselves caught betweena rock and a hard place as they were surrounded by not just the spiritual beast army but by thehuman army as well.

Beverly was shocked upon seeing the human army appear out of nowhere. However, she redirectedher focus on subduing the Emperor Realm spiritual beast. To help preserve her power, she swiftlyordered the two Emperor Realm masters to help her and her army retreat.

Soon, the spiritual race army retreated from the lair.

Once the spiritual beast army realized that their enemy had fled, they redirected their attacktowards Rocky and his army. They seemed to regard them as enemies as well.

"Sir, do you still recognize me?" Rocky hastily took flight and positioned himself to face the EmperorRealm spiritual beast.

"You! It appears both the humans and the spirit warriors wish to get hold of the sacred weaponamong the ruins..." The spiritual beast instantly recognized Rocky as the mysterious spirit warriorwho fled with the human army under its watch. However, it still thought Rocky's intention was thesame as the spiritual race's—to steal the sacred weapon.

"What sacred weapon?" Of course, Rocky had no clue about the sacred weapon. He became curiousabout what the spiritual beast had just said. It seemed that the spiritual army intended to not onlysubdue the beast but to steal its precious sacred weapon too.

"Stop pretending. You humans are just as greedy as the spiritual race. You always wish tomanipulate us. Once you get your hands on the sacred weapon, you'll succeed,” the spiritual beastcommented with hostility in its voice.

"It seems you've misunderstood me. I'm not going after any sacred weapon. I just want to stop thespiritual race from hurting you," Rocky admitted.

"Do you honestly think I'm stupid enough to believe you?" The spiritual beast snorted.

"Whether or not you believe me, it doesn't matter. But there's no doubt that I've helped you out justnow. I don't require anything else in return. I just wish for me and my troops to leave safely.” Rockyknew that the spiritual race army would lead another counterattack soon after they left. He couldn'tallow his army to be further entangled with the spiritual beast army.

The beast paused to think further before it replied, "Alright, I'll let you and your troops go. But youmust swear that you will never step foot into this forest again.”
