A wailing sound pierced the air. Rocky ran forward, arriving outside of a shabby, old tent. As hestepped inside, he saw a child around five years old crying and pushing an old woman who waslying still on the ground. The little boy kept shouting, "Grandma!"

When he witnessed it, Rocky rushed forward and moved the boy out of the way to press his fingersto the old woman's neck. After feeling her weak pulse and confirming that she was still alive, hereached for her wrist to feel her pulse again.

At the same time, the child peered up at Rocky innocently while tears streamed down his cheeks."Don't worry. I will save your grandmother,” Rocky reassured him.

The child seemed to understand and stopped crying.

After feeling the old woman's pulse, Rocky pressed against her chest a few times. Under his palms,her chest felt stiff and swollen. Her face was pale. She had difficulty breathing. Rocky summed it allup to a heart attack. According to modern medicine, she had suffered a myocardial infarction.

It had occurred suddenly. If the patient was not treated in time, she would most likely die. Even ifshe could survive, she would suffer from negative effects such as paralysis and disability.Therefore, Rocky whipped out his medicine box, removed the black needles from it, and used theSkill of Magic Needle to cure the old woman.

Hanging by his collar, Rocky remained calm and uttered, "If you want your mother to live, let go ofme. Otherwise, I can't save her."

Under Rocky's intimidating gaze, the man subconsciously let him go. However, he still muttered,"You insert these needles into my mother's body and claim that you are saving her, but it's obviousthat you are hurting her!"

"Your mother had a heart attack. This is the only way to save her life. If you don't want her to live, Ican always step away," Rocky said in a serious voice.

Anxiety rushed through the man. After hesitating for a moment, he realized the only option was toagree. "Then save her quickly. If you can't save her, I won't let you live."

Rocky smiled and sat down cross-legged, activating the spiritual power. Immediately, he used theSkill of Magic Needle to break through the blocked heart meridian.

About half an hour later, the old woman's face gained some color and her breathing becamesmoother. Finally, she inhaled deeply and opened her eyes.

When the members of the Shura Race that were present saw her awaken, they were all shocked."What a highly skilled doctor!"

"I've never seen someone save a person that was so far gone! He can save people on the verge ofdeath!"

"Grey, your mother was lucky to survive this.”

The members of the Shura Race immediately spoke excitedly, turning towards the young man."Thank you so much. I'm sorry that I didn't understand what you were trying to do,” the man calledGrey apologized, looking at Rocky with shame on his face.

"Don't worry about it. Your mother is fixed now. But she is not in good health and she is so old. Sheshould not perform any more heavy work,” Rocky warned.

"I know. I know.” Grey nodded immediately with wide eyes.

Rocky gave Grey three bags of medicine and asked him to give her one full bag of medicine eachday. Grey thanked him over and over again. Then, they talked for a while.

Grey was only in his early twenties but he led a miserable life. When he was young, his father haddied. After that, he lived with his mother and his brother who was a few years older than him. A fewyears ago, his brother was forced to join the army so that his family could survive. They hadn't heardfrom or about him since he was deployed. The child Rocky had seen crying was Grey's brother'schild.

After Grey's brother left, his wife couldn't live in poverty anymore so she ran away. Thus, Grey andhis mother took care of the child.

Because of his humble status in the Shura Race, Grey performed chores to earn a living.

And in the slum, there were many other people like Grey who lived miserable lives.

After talking with Grey, Rocky became more determined to help the people that lived there.

When he was exiting Grey's tent, Rocky noticed that there were still members of the Shura Racewaiting there. Therefore, he took the opportunity to announce, "Everyone, starting today, I will treatthe patients in this slum. In order for everyone to benefit, please pass on the message. If you are illand want me to treat you, you can wait for me under the big locust tree at noon every day."

Rocky paused for a while. Then, he added, "If anyone wants me to treat their illness now, follow meto the locust tree."

With a wave of his hand, Rocky turned and headed towards the towering locust tree.

Because all the people in the slum had already witnessed Rocky's impressive medical skills, theytrusted him. Therefore, the most seriously ill people traveled to the locust tree with him.

Rocky got to work right away. He patiently checked pulses and either applied medicine or used theSkill of Magic Needle to treat the patients.

Before long, darkness was creeping over them. When he saw how late it was getting, Rocky left theslum and returned to the leader's mansion.

Although he was only able to treat around a dozen patients that day, when he went back to theGhost Palace and checked the power of Godly Genius, he was surprised to see that it had increaseda little. However, he didn't feel any different.

The method he was using to cultivate the power of Godly Genius had worked, making Rocky moreconfident. He felt as though he could surpass the other Godly Geniuses within a month.Unfortunately, it only took a few days for the news that Rocky was treating people in the slum tospread throughout the whole mansion.

Now, the respected elders and senior officials were shocked. They couldn't just sit by and let ithappen.

That day, a previously planned meeting was being held so all of the seats in the conference hall ofthe leader's mansion were occupied. Those who were attending the meeting included several eldersand a dozen senior officials.

"Sir, I heard that the Godly Genius goes into the slum every day to cure the civilians. Is it true?" anelder asked.

"Yes," Gilbert replied. In fact, the news had just reached his own ears.

"This is ridiculous. The Godly Genius is so noble, yet, regardless of his identity, he goes into theslum. If his identity is discovered, there's no guarantee what will happen. What if those with ill plansdecide to take advantage of this?" another elder uttered in a serious tone.
