Soon after that, at a run-down cemetery near the village, Sue was kneeling morosely in front of anewly-erected tombstone. She was crying her eyes out as Rocky stood by her side, lookingdiscouraged. Had he arrived earlier, he might have been just in time to save Jackson from Matthewand his men.

"Sue, you should leave this place and start your life elsewhere. The money I left to your grandfatherlast time is enough for you to have a comfortable life,” Rocky suggested gently.

"How can I leave this place? It's all I've ever known! What about you? If I leave, they will definitelycome after you. And you can't possibly defend yourself once they get their hands on you." Suestood up and looked at Rocky. She was genuinely worried about him.

"Don't worry. I can take care of myself. I will send Uriah and Rubygon to escort you first. I need togo back to the military camp to do something first. I'll catch up with you later.” Rocky rubbed herhead tenderly to console her. He then instructed Uriah and Rubygon to protect her before he tookoff.

"Mr. Bai..." Sue stared at Rocky's departing silhouette, looking deeply concerned. But she soonsnapped out of her silent reverie, gathering her things and leaving along with Uriah and Rubygon.She knew that her being here would seriously impede Rocky's plans.

Although Rocky knew that he would get into trouble the second he reached the military camp, hestill decided to go as he had a score to settle with Matthew. As he walked into the military camp,covered in blood, he drew looks from soldiers and spirit manipulators all around.

"Could someone please have this murderer locked up?" Someone barked the order furiously at thismoment.

Rocky turned and saw four spirit manipulators led by Evan along with a group of soldiers coming hisway, surrounding him completely. There was no way out.

"I can't believe that you had the audacity to come back after you killed two spirit manipulators ofmy squad. I hope that your strength is as big as your balls.” Evan stared at him darkly. Clearly, healready knew that Rocky had killed two of his men and wounded Matthew. Although he had no ideahow Rocky managed to do that. It had puzzled everyone as to how even Matthew, who was at thesixth grade of the Mortal Stage, was rendered infertile by Rocky. Evan was fuming with what Rockyhad done to his men and was determined to make him pay for what he had done. He had neverliked Rocky from the beginning and thought that this would truly be the perfect opportunity todestroy him once and for all.

"Why don't you call up Matthew and ask what he has done?" Rocky remained composed and calm."You were caught by Matthew and two other spirit manipulators raping poor women and killinginnocent villagers. They were just trying to talk you out of hurting innocent people yet you launchedsneak attacks against them. Matthew has told me everything. Are you still trying to deny it?" Evanshouted with fury in his voice.

It turned out that Matthew put all the blame on Rocky as part of his plot to frame him. Of course, itwas also due to the fact that Evan disliked Rocky all along that he bought Matthew's story without adoubt as he was looking for a chance to get rid of Rocky. This was the reason why he brought thismany people in hope of disgracing Rocky and having him detained.

Soldiers and spirit manipulators exchanged a look of shock with each other as they had neverthought that Rocky would be capable of such horrible things.

"He is pretty good at making up stories. I'll give him that.” Rocky gave a cold smile. He knew fromthe beginning that Matthew would tell some lies to set him up. But those lies would be put to restonce and for all today.

"You are a military man and yet you just killed your own comrade-in-arm. This is a capital offenseand I shall have you executed right now.” Evan looked at Rocky with malicious intent, spitting wordsthat reeked with self-righteousness as if Rocky had actually done something wrong.

"Rocky, if you admit to your crime here in front of everyone, I may just spare your life." Evan staredat Rocky. Of course, he did not mean a single word he said. He would kill Rocky nonetheless whenthe timing was appropriate and he knew for sure that there was no way Rocky would admit to beingguilty.

"I will not admit to the crime that I have not done. How about you summon Matthew? I will confronthim and leave the judgment to the commander,” Rocky responded coldly, caring not for his threats."The commander and her aids went to inspect the combat readiness of the front line. They will notbe back until tomorrow. So I am charged with all affairs in the military camp.” This was also thereason why Evan dared to cause such a disturbance. With the first and the second in command bothgone, he was holding the reigns.

Rocky realized Evan's intention immediately. He figured out that this conniving man was looking tohave him executed right now so that there would be no witness to the heinous crime when thecommander returned. This way, Matthew could make up any story that he deemed fit andmanipulate the situation to his advantage.

Thor and Joss made it to the scene the second they heard that Rocky had shown up. They feltanxious as they saw that Rocky was surrounded but there was not much they could do to help giventheir status and strength.

More than half of the military camp's population of soldiers and spirit manipulators had gathered,pointing their fingers and muttering about Rocky. In their eyes, he had just become a shameless anddespicable murderer.

"Take him down. If he resists, kill him." Evan gave the order.

Four spirit manipulators of the first squad immediate stepped up from behind Evan, intending toapprehend Rocky. They were seething with anger. Two of their teammates had died at this man'shands. Oh, how very badly they wanted to cut him open to avenge their fallen brothers!

These four spirit manipulators from the first squad were all above the fifth grade of the Mortal Stagebut no higher than the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage. To the crowd, Rocky appeared to be atonly the third grade of the Mortal Stage. In the face of the four spirit manipulators, his powerlooked pathetic.

However, Rocky only took a glance at them coldly and said, "Who wants to go first? Or do you wantto come at me altogether? I'll wait for your decision.”

The four spirit manipulators from the first squad looked stunned, just like everyone else around.They were all wondering how Rocky dared to stand up to them, especially considering that theywere much more powerful than he was.

'He must be out of his mind!" everyone thought.

"For someone as pathetic and weak as you, I alone will be more than enough.” A tall spiritmanipulator with an equine face at the fifth grade of the Mortal Stage strode forward, lookingcontemptuously at Rocky. He concentrated his spiritual power into his fist and then chargedtowards Rocky.

Rocky did not even flinch or move a muscle. The spirit manipulator raised his fist, which was shiningthe light of spiritual power, and struck at Rocky with full force.

Just as everyone thought that Rocky was about to take a bloody beating, he only used his left handand caught the incoming fist with a calm, unruffled face.

Everyone was shocked to the core to see that Rocky had done this with relative ease, as though hehad merely caught a ball thrown at him.

His strike carried the spiritual power of the fifth grade of the Mortal Stage, which normally was waybeyond what Rocky could take given his weak strength. But how could he have merely stood thereand caught it without at least flinching!?

At this moment, everyone gasped as they began to feel the surge of Rocky's spiritual power. Bit bybit, they could sense that it had reached the sixth grade of the Mortal Stage in a flash!
