Chapter 1705 Vivian's Real Strength

"I have to focus on my recovery and heal as fast as possible. I can't let that guy look down on me!"Valeria murmured, crossing her arms over her chest in determination.

A small rustle was heard and she turned to look over her shoulder. A delicate figure appeared infront of her.

"Vivian!" Looks of utter shock covered Valeria's and the Spiritual Emperors’ faces.

Vivian was there even though she was supposed to be dead.

"Where is Odin?" Vivian asked, not wasting time on pleasantries.

"He just left with a group of people,” Valeria answered.

"Okay! I'm going to help them.” Without waiting for a response, Vivian turned on her heel and tookoff at a run.

Now that Vivian was back, Valeria felt very relieved. After collecting herself for a moment, she tookoff after her.

In the meantime, Rocky was bringing a group of his people to battle. Tobias was standing acrossfrom him and staring him down. "Boy, are you sure you want to be this stubborn?" Then, he turnedto his men and ordered, "Go and kill them all!"

In an instant, his men swarmed together and charged at Rocky and his men, aiming to slaughtereach one of them.

"Quick! Form the array!" Rocky ordered.

Soon, the group of one hundred people formed a strange, irregular array. It was similar to clouds inthe sky because it could change its shape whenever it pleased

Then, Rocky closed his eyes and started chanting quietly. A few seconds later, the power of theArmy-blessing Scroll was activated.

The moment that Tobias’ men passed through the array, their vision turned blurry like a thick misthad settled down around them. They turned in every direction but they couldn't see themselves ortheir enemies.

Small groups of figures constantly ran at them. Wherever they went, dead bodies fell. By the timeTobias’ men came to their senses and were ready to retaliate, the figures were already gone.Because they could not target their enemies, Tobias’ men ran around aimlessly, constantly beingkilled by Rocky's men.

In under an hour, every one of Tobias’ men had been seriously injured or killed.

"Damn it!" Tobias cursed from the outside of the array. He was confused. He couldn't figure out whyhis men weren't fighting back and he couldn't see into the inside of the array.

Soon, the three Spiritual Emperors were struggling to retreat too. Everyone was panicking andrefused to go back inside the array.

"Sir, the array is dangerous! We will all die!" one of the Spiritual Emperors reported, still out ofbreath from running so fast.

"You are all useless!" Tobias scolded. Unwilling to admit defeat, he stomped forward, which emitteda thicker demonic aura, and he burst into the array, intending to break it himself.

A sneer appeared on Rocky's face when he saw that Tobias enter the array.

After he was inside the array, Tobias could see why his men had been unable to fight back againsttheir enemies. He couldn't even see his hand when it was right in front of his face.

"Hey! What kind of trick is this?" He had never seen the mysterious military arrays or the Army-blessing Scroll in person, so he was also confused. However, he still thought that he could break thearray by himself.

As he was preparing to destroy it, a silver shadow in the shape of an ice spear cut through the thickmist, heading straight for him.

The moment he saw it, Tobias launched a palm attack, and a lot of black gas filled the air, blockingthe flying spear. Within seconds, the two forces were locked in a stalemate in the air.

Then, a delicate figure burst through the mist. She caught the spear in midair and raised it. In aninstant, a shadow of dragon rose from the ground and reared its head back in a roar.

Turning around, Tobias retreated to avoid its attack. He glared back at the figure. When he saw whoit was, he gasped, "It's you! Why are you here?"

His eyes settled on Vivian and they narrowed into slits.

"Why? Am I not allowed to come here?" Vivian spat back as a sneer covered her face. She was toostrong for the flame to hurt her. The truth was that Tobias was too careless and had underestimatedher.

"You... Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Tobias was still consumed with shock. He couldn't believethat the person who had been swallowed by the flame was now standing right in front of him.

"The flame was not strong enough to hurt me! I was just playing a trick on you and you fell for it!"Vivian said.

At that moment, Tobias realized that he had fallen into a trap. His face flushed red with rage.

"You keep provoking the Ghost Fiefl Now, I have to punish you. Otherwise, you will never treat uswith the respect we deserve!" Vivian pointed the tip of her spear at Tobias.

"Bitch! I'd like to see you try and punish me!” In a fit of anger, Tobias rushed forward and held hisangry hands out at Vivian.

Not willing to be outdone, Vivian brandished her spear in his direction.

Soon, the two powerful warriors that were at the premium stage of the Emperor Realm werefighting inside the array.

Now that Tobias was gone, his people were leaderless.

The members of the joint guard team took advantage of the opportunity and sent out the rest oftheir men to defeat the people from the Primitive Fief.

Meanwhile, Valeria had just arrived and she was examining Rocky's array. When she saw that Rocky'sarray had killed a lot of the people from the Primitive Fief, she was shocked. But she knew howpowerful Tobias was, so she still felt worried for Vivian's safety. Therefore, she walked up to Rockyand asked anxiously, "Do you think Vivian can defeat him?"

"You tell me. How strong do you think she is?" Rocky asked with a smile.

"She must be close to the top level. She is a few years older than me, but there is no doubt that sheis more talented..." Valeria admitted. It was rare for her to praise someone else so openly.

"If I were to tell you that her strength has reached the peak, would you believe me?" Rocky said,raising his eyebrows.

"How is that possible?" Valeria blurted out. In her opinion, Vivian would have to work relentlessly toreach the peak at such a young age.

"Nothing is impossible in the Shura Race. It is her secret though. So let's keep it between us. Don'teven bring it up to her." Rocky hadn't known what Vivian's strength was until she released the spiritof the holy beast. After witnessing that, he was certain that she had reached the peak.

"Okay." Valeria nodded slightly.

Half an hour later, the fight in the array had come to an end. Tobias was staring at the spear thathad pierced through him with wide eyes.

"How... How did you do it? You are already dead...” Even in his dying moments, it was impossible forTobias to believe that Vivian had come back.

"A dead man doesn't need an explanation!" Vivian yanked out her ice spear and sliced it horizontallythrough the air. As a result, Tobias’ head flew upwards and hung on the tip of her spear.

After ending his life, Vivian exited the array and shouted at the members of the Primitive Fief whowere still fighting, "Everyone, leave now or you will be killed too!" At the same time, she raisedTobias' head on the end of her spear.

"Master Tobias is dead. Run!" Tobias’ men were shocked to see their leader's head. They no longerhad a reason to fight.

The three, low-grade Spiritual Emperors led the rest of them into a retreat.

Vivian didn't bother chasing after them. Instead, she brought her men back to their camp, countedthe casualties, and let the injured heal.

"Is flattering others a hobby of yours?" Vivian scolded.

"I was just being honest!"
