Chapter 173 Utterly Detestable (Part Two)

Rocky's eyebrows knitted as a frown flashed across his face. He sped up instantly and forced hispath through the countless ferocious-looking ghost shadows. However, he was bound to bump intothe ghost shadows every now and then since he wasn't strong enough to dodge them all. Oneimpact would equate to an attack of Evan's spiritual power to Rocky.

Therefore, when Rocky totally broke through and went out, he looked rather pitiful

"Ha-ha!" Evan laughed wildly at the sight of Rocky's embarrassed look. Finally! Things became lessembarrassing for him.

"Is that all you have?" Rocky said scornfully while staring at Evan.

"I... I will kill you." Evan was entirely enraged at Rocky's words. He flew over to Rocky again andlaunched furious attacks to him.

Since he had been injured when he got out of the fog, Rocky's power was weakened. More thanthat, the effect of the magical saliva would also wear off sooner than the last time it was ingested.What was worse, Evan was more powerful than him from the very beginning. Naturally, Rocky wasgradually at a disadvantage.

The situation was grim. Without the power of the Holy Dragon Bead, Rocky had no chance toredeem himself and turn the tables.

The crowd cried out in alarm as Rocky injured the well-known spirit manipulator.

Since Rocky had hit Evan's face, Evan flew into a rage that was fueled by his humiliation. Heprepared to have a life-or-death struggle with Rocky.

Right at that moment, a woman yelled, "Stop this instance!”

Hearing this, Rocky and Evan turned back and saw a pretty woman walking in from the gate of themilitary camp with several companions. She was very angry.

"Commander Marin..." Evan said as his face turned pale, astonished at Marin's appearance.

"What's going on here?" Marin and the other two Deputy Commanders were completely confusedat the scene before them — three spirit manipulators of the first team lay aside on the ground whileRocky and Evan fought against one another.

"Commander Marin, Rocky raped women and killed innocent people. When Matthew, a spiritmanipulator of the first team, found out about his crimes, Rocky wounded Matthew and killed twospirit manipulators of the first team. After that, he made a scene in the military camp and injuredanother three spirit manipulators. He is too wicked to be pardoned. Commander, please sentencehim to death.” Evan, occupying the first chance, accused Rocky of his fabricated evildoing beforeMarin.

"What?" Marin was surprised and angry. Staring at Rocky, she really got a shock because she sensedthat the spiritual power of Rocky had reached the second grade of the Earthly Stage.

'How could he reach the second grade of the Earthly Stage? He looked so weak before." Marinwondered to herself.

The two Deputy Commanders behind Marin were both astounded.

"Rocky, what happened? Why did you kill the spirit manipulators of the first team?" Marinquestioned harshly. Killing colleagues was a taboo in the military camp, which was equivalent totreason. If Rocky really did so, Marin could execute him immediately.

"They deserved more than death,” Rocky replied with cold eyes.

Looking firmly into Rocky's eyes, Marin asked again, "Are they telling the truth?"

"If they want to make a false charge against me, they will always replace the right words to do so.”Rocky smiled scornfully.

"Evan, have you ever looked into those criminal charges?" Marin asked. Marin felt the things weresuspicious for Rocky looked calm and innocent.

"Well..." Evan didn't dare to respond, because he came for Rocky immediately after hearingMatthew's words.

"Take Matthew to my tent. Send the injured for medical treatment. Everyone else, go back to yourstations!" Marin ordered quickly.

Soon, all the soldiers and spirit manipulators hastened away. Before they left, each of them couldn'thelp but take a glance at Rocky to show their astonishment at his amazing performance just now."You two! Come with me!" Marin said, glaring at Rocky and Evan. Then she walked towards her tent."If Commander Marin had gone back a little later, you would have been dead meat, you bastard!"Evan hissed angrily.

Rocky replied with only a sneer and followed Marin. Evan came along.

The two Deputy Commanders looked at one another and knew this was a knotty problem. Whatmade matters worse, Rocky had killed two spirit manipulators. Perhaps he would be put to death.Besides, both of them were startled that Rocky had reached the second grade of the Earthly Stage.Neither of them had previously detected the real power and capability that he had.

Marin entered the tent and sat at the table. Rocky and Evan walked in one after another and stoodbefore Marin. At last, the two Deputy Commanders also entered the tent.

After a short while, Matthew, held by two soldiers, came in. The lower part of his body was wrappedwith gauze and blood still oozed out of it.

Seeing Matthew's severe injury, Marin and the two Deputy Commanders turned serious. It could betold that Rocky had been cruel to him

At the sight of Rocky, Matthew wholly began to freak out. He struggled to free himself from the twosoldiers and knelt on the ground before Marin, crying out, "Commander Marin, please do justice forme. I was badly hurt by the beast.”

"Matthew, I shouldn't have let you off!" Rocky coldly scolded with a poker face.

Shocked by Rocky's words, Matthew trembled with abject fear.
