Upon entering the Imperial Soul Testing Array, Rocky saw numerous participants waiting in line forthe test.

The testing area could accommodate twenty candidates at a time, so, similar to the Myriadlllusionary Array, it would be easy to separate the strong from the weak. Both arrays were quitedifferent from each other. But in this test, the candidates wouldn't be separated into differentgroups. This meant that all the Spiritual Emperors ranging from the low-grade to the middle-gradeand even the high-grade would be competing with each other. This would also help differentiatethe potential of the Imperial Soul among all the candidates.

As soon as Rocky arrived, several candidates who just finished the test were waiting for the results.Not long after, they were finally announced.

Their soul potential ranged from the middle grade of the Human Stage to the middle grade of theEarth Stage.

One of the most notable was Joseph whose soul potential managed to reach the high grade of theEarth Stage.

It turned out that only a high grade Spiritual Emperor among them had his soul potential proven tobe at the high grade of the Earth Stage.

Rocky then paid close attention to the soul potential ranking list that was just released. Hediscovered more than thirty Spiritual Emperors’ test results.

The highest soul potential was at the high grade of the Earth Stage and its owner was a high gradeSpiritual Emperor from the spiritual race. Three of the candidates had their soul potential proven tobe at the middle grade of the Earth Stage, and five at the low grade of the Earth Stage. The rest ofthem all had the soul potential at the Human Stage. In particular, less than ten candidates’ soulpotentials were at the high grade of the Human Stage.

"I didn't see Valeria's and Gloria's results. Perhaps they didn't take the test yet,” Rocky murmured ashe carefully checked the results and failed to see any remarks about Valeria or Gloria. Thisconcluded his theory from earlier.

As he spoke, Carla and Eunice appeared. The duo immediately caught the attention of the entireaudience and soon found many admiring eyes locked on them.

They were the newest Spiritual Emperors in the Ethereal Region. Their superior talent paired withtheir outstanding beauty naturally made them the center of everyone's attention!

Carla gave Rocky a slight nod of her head.

This puzzled Eunice and left her wondering. “Have they already met in private?” she thought. Rockynever told her about it!

Moments later, Rocky walked up to Carla and said, "Nice to see you again, Miss Yu."

"Nice to see you too," she replied with a rare, charming smile.

This caught the Spiritual Emperors in the audience off guard because Carla was a well-known aloofbeauty. It was difficult for any man to get close to her, let alone talk to her. Yet Rocky managed tomake that happen. It was hard for the Spiritual Emperors to believe that he could encourage her togreet him first with a smile on her face!

Eunice thought the entire situation was odd as well. She immediately asked, "Since when did youtwo know each other? Why wasn't I informed about any of this?"

"We just met a few days ago," Rocky replied with an understatement.

"Really?" Eunice asked as she suspiciously looked at Carla again

The latter confirmed with a quick nod of her head.

"It never occurred to me that you'd know her in private. Tell me, what exactly are your intentions?”Eunice continued to prod with her questions.

"I'm innocent! I assure you I'm nothing less than a gentleman. What other motives would I possiblyhave? Furthermore, it was Miss Yu who took the initiative to make my acquaintance,” Rocky revealedplaintively.

"He's right. I initiated our meeting with each other,” Carla explained in his defense.

"I see! It's all cool with me, then. Carla, I'd steer clear of this guy if I were you. He's dangerous!"Eunice deliberately exaggerated with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Okay." As she glanced at Rocky, Carla knew Eunice was joking. She didn’t take her warningseriously.

"Well, I guess introductions are unnecessary since we all know each other. Now that we've met, let'sgo ahead and take this exam together. The Imperial Soul Testing Array is more exciting andinteresting than the Myriad lllusionary Array,” Eunice suggested. She already took the test in theImperial Soul Testing Array after she was promoted to low-grade Spiritual Emperor. She proved inthat test that she had the potential to own an Imperial Soul. This gave her an even deeperunderstanding of how it would feel in the Imperial Soul Testing Array.

"I've long heard that the Di Clan possesses a mysterious array specially used to test the potential ofthe Imperial Soul. It's unique even in the entire Ethereal Region," Carla commented with a curiouslook all over her face.

After that, Rocky and the others showed their jade tokens to sign up before resuming chatting witheach other.

Not long after, several more candidates arrived including Moore, Holden, and Hall Leader Chenwhom Rocky had previously offended.

Hall Leader Chen soon noticed Rocky and Eunice. He had seen them before the opening of theSpiritual Emperor Contest and was surprised to discover they would be participating in it as well.Later, he asked around and found out they were both Spiritual Emperors of the Di Clan. He didn'tdare to mess with any of them. Rocky had played tricks on him during their last encounter with apoisoned needle which greatly embarrassed him. He grew angrier this time when he saw Carla, whohe admired dearly, by Rocky's side.

Wasting no time, Hall Leader Chen couldn't restrain his anger any longer. He walked up to Rockywith a vehement glare and shouted, "You're not going to escape from me today, boy!"

"Hello, Hall Leader Chen of the East Grand Sect. It's nice to see you here!" Eunice greeted at once. Tobe honest, she wasn't surprised to see him here. She expected him to show up.

Hall Leader Chen shot Eunice a glance. He didn't intend on stirring up any trouble since he knew shehad a special position in the Di Clan. Rocky, on the other hand, was merely a low-grade SpiritualEmperor of the Di Clan. It just seemed easier to replace this single fault in Rocky.

"Hello, Hall Leader Chen. What can I do for you?" Rocky asked nonchalantly.

"Don’t play dumb with me, brat. You set me up last time. I promise I'll get even with you today!" HallLeader Chen declared resentfully.

Their argument caused quite a commotion among the other Spiritual Emperors that they ended uplooking over in their direction.

"If I remember right, you offended Miss Eunice first so I decided to fight back,” Rocky respondedcalmly with a smile.

"Humph. What nonsense are you talking about? I'd never dare to offend someone as esteemed asMiss Eunice. You played tricks on me because you were jealous of me being close to her, didn'tyou?" Hall Leader Chen insisted as he tried his best to twist the truth

Hall Leader Chen's words caused quite a commotion among the crowd. Everyone present began togossip with each other.

After all, Hall Leader Chen was not only a Spiritual Emperor at the middle grade from the East GrandSect, but held a high position in the Ethereal Region as well. His words were certainly convincing."You're funny, Hall Leader Chen!" Eunice couldn't help but sneer.

"It's true. My subordinates can testify for me!" Hall Leader Chen continued to insist.

"Even if I did, so what? If I succeeded in tricking you and word of this spreads, it would only be moreridiculous considering your strength. It would only disgrace you," Rocky retorted immediately."You..." Hall Leader Chen was speechless. He didn't expect Rocky to fire back like this. He furiouslyglared at Rocky with wide, hateful eyes.

"Hall Leader Chen, if you two have any personal grudge against each other, then you may solve it inprivate after the Spiritual Emperor Contest. Otherwise, you would be disqualified from thecompetition if you were to cause a scene right now," Eunice warned sternly.
