"You're crazy!" Gloria couldn't help but snap at him. "Some men sent by the other Godly Geniuses are keeping a close eye on us. How are we going todeal with them?" Valeria asked with concern.

"Let me deal with those bastards. Wait here and don't follow me. I don't want you guys to blow yourcover. I'll be back soon." With a smile, Rocky immediately went out the door to confront theirenemies.

He first hid in the shadows and disguised himself as a member of the Shura Race no one had seenbefore with a new mask. He then crept out of the building's edge and shouted, "Stop hiding andcome get me!" He quickly dashed towards the back of the mountain, enticing his opponents tochase after him

A handful of Spiritual Emperors emerged from the shadows and followed him.

Under the pale moonlight, Rocky saw a dozen figures chasing after him.

Not long after, Rocky arrived in a clearing at the back of the mountain and stopped.

The Spiritual Emperors of the Shura Race arrived nearly at the same time. They were divided intoseveral groups and each took a corner before they glanced at each other. It seemed that they didn'texpect that so many Spiritual Emperors would be sent to test Rocky. Inevitably, they grew wary intheir minds.

At the same time, Rocky turned around under the light of the stars and faced them.

When they saw that it was a different face, they all stirred uneasily.

"What?! You aren't the Godly Genius of the Ghost Fief!" One of the Spiritual Emperors gasped insurprise.

"Of course! My master isn't a fool to come see you in person. If you want to meet him, you mustfirst pass my test,” Rocky said with a sneer.

"He's right! Who do you think you are? You won't stand a second if we gang up on you!" anotherSpiritual Emperor chimed in with disdain.

"It's up to you. I don't mind fighting you one by one, but you will definitely regret it!" Rockyprovoked them even more with a cocky smile.

"Brat, let me be the first one to fight you! I'll put an end to your miserable life!" a thin, shifty-eyedlow-level Spiritual Emperor shouted as he swiftly approached Rocky.

Although there was an opponent charging straight at him, Rocky remained steady and didn't movea muscle.

"Take this!" As soon as the Spiritual Emperor got within striking distance, he immediately unleashedhis most powerful skill. With a defiant scream, several ghost shadows burst out of the ground andwrapped Rocky's feet, rendering him unable to move.

At the same time, the low-level Spiritual Emperor stretched out his hand and a huge clawmaterialized and slashed at Rocky.

The overwhelming spiritual power exploded in violent fashion the instant it attacked him. It sentdust and rocks flying high into the clouds, leaving a crater on the ground. Since Rocky was unableto move, he absorbed the force of the blow head on.

"Humph! I thought he was powerful, but it turns out he is just bluffing!” Surprised that Rockycouldn't even conjure up a counterattack, the low-level Spiritual Emperor scoffed. He thought thatRocky must be either dead or badly injured.

But as the dust settled, the confident smile on his face suddenly faded when he felt a chilling auraapproach him. When he came to his senses, a figure appeared out of nowhere and landed a gentleslap on his chest before floating back like a ghost.

When the dust finally set, everyone was surprised to see Rocky standing there unharmed.

"You..." The low-level Spiritual Emperor was speechless. He couldn't fathom how Rocky survived hismost powerful attack. Before he could even react, a scorching hot flame erupted from his chest,igniting his body and killing him until he was burned into a crisp.

The other Spiritual Emperors were shell-shocked. They didn't even see the moment when Rockyattacked their comrade.

"Is there anyone else who wants to try?" With a cold and soul-piercing stare, Rocky asked everyonewith his hands behind his back.

"Who the hell are you?" the masked Spiritual Emperor asked. Judging from Rocky's attack, heguessed that Rocky was at least a middle-level Spiritual Emperor. Even if the three strongest menamong them attacked together, he wasn't confident that they would be able to defeat him.

"I'm just an apprentice pharmacist,” Rocky replied

The remaining Spiritual Emperors remained frozen in place with fear.

"Okay, I forgive you. You may leave now!" Rocky said as he waved his hand.

The masked Spiritual Emperor and the others exchanged nervous glances and then left one afteranother.

After that, Rocky went straight back to his room.

As soon as he entered his room, he saw that Valeria and Gloria were still waiting for him inside. Theybreathed a sigh of relief when they saw him unharmed.

"How did you drive away those Spiritual Emperors?” Gloria asked as she looked at Rockysuspiciously.

"Well, I have my own ways of dealing with them. Anyway, it's getting late. It's better if you go backto your room and rest. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow. Goodnight!" Rocky said to Valeriawith a warm smile.

"Okay, goodnight.” Valeria said to him and went straight to her room.

"Hey, how much longer are you going to pretend?" Gloria, on the other hand, kept pestering him assoon as Valeria left.
